Grading Joe Biden and the Democrat press

Joe Biden Is Not Senile — He’s Stupid - The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

Now people chalk up to age what we all knew way back was IQ.

Joe Biden, like Forrest Gump, is not a smart man. His latest Ron Burgundy moment comes as Exhibit 1,322b.On Monday, he quoted a woman calling high-speed internet “the best thing that has happened to rural America since the Rural Electrification Act brought electricity to farms in the 30s and 40s.” When he finished reading that off a teleprompter, he read the words: “End of quote.”

"When you lead the No. 1 news team in San Diego, this sort of thing can lead to job loss, beard growth, alcoholism, depression, and drinking milk from the carton on a hot day. But Joe Biden merely serves as president of the United States. And Monday’s teleprompter snafu does not come as the first, anyhow. Must one repeat the line about “repeat the line”?

"From dressing protectors as the Easter Bunny to screening “journalist” questions in advance, there seems no easy solution. Certainly going off teleprompter without a safety net strikes his on-edge handlers as no solution at all.

"Earlier this month, for instance, the president startled League of Conservation Voters by announcing, “We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean.” . . .

Was Last Week the Beginning of the End for Biden? - The American Spectator | USA News and Politics    "Something changed last week inside the Beltway that suggests the people who run the Democratic Party now realize President Biden’s tenure in office is not sustainable beyond 2024. The “tell” was not, however, the latest revelation by IRS whistleblowers about his corrupt administration. It was instead the sudden awakening of the White House press corps. The same “reporters” who snored through more than two years of preposterous claims by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and her predecessor simultaneously woke up Friday."

Sadly, neither the credibility of the IRS whistleblowers nor the widespread suspicions of ordinary voters would normally be enough to motivate the corporate media to cover the latest Biden scandal, much less ask genuine questions during a White House press briefing. Only a signal from Democratic Party heavyweights that the President’s days in office are numbered could have been enough to awake the Fourth Estate from its long slumber.

Joe Rogan Roasts Dylan Mulvaney's Response to the Bud Light Controversy

This isn’t about some genuine care for transgenderism. It’s about making sure a company’s ESG score remains high enough to garner future capital.

RedState  "Bud Light continues to suffer the consequences of dipping its toe into the culture wars. The beer giant has lost billions of dollars in potential sales in the months following its partnership with controversial transgender “influencer” Dylan Mulvaney." . . .

. . ."Joe Rogan once again took a shot at Dylan Mulvaney, calling the trans influencer “mentally ill” and an “attention whore” after the social media star broke [his] silence about the Bud Light boycott.

"Rogan made the comment during Thursday’s episode of the Spotify podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which featured an interview with rapper-actor Ice Cube.

"The two-and-a-half-hour conversation between Rogan and Ice Cube eventually touched on the Bud Light controversy.

“The only time [capital] respects opinions is when people boycott s–t and it works like this Bud Light thing, and now people are like, ‘Don’t do that again,’” Rogan said, alluding to the steep drop in sales of the brand since Mulvaney started touting the beer on [his] social media accounts on April 1.

. . ."Why do outlets that garner clicks and make money off publishing stories pointing out the absurdity of transgenderism then give up its premise? Fox News also does this, and it’s insulting to one’s readers. Mulvaney is not a “she.” He is a man, and even if one supports transgenderism as a form of personal freedom, the reality of the situation remains.". . .

Ron DeSantis’s team puts out a very clever campaign video

Andrea Widburg   "Unlike Democrats, who are now panicking that Biden will head the ticket in 2024, Republicans have an embarrassment of riches, ranging from RINOs to the big MAGA kahuna—that is, Trump himself—along with everyone in between. Currently, the most closely watched are Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.

"I was listening to Michael Knowles the other day, and he made a very interesting point. Trump is Trump. He’s a known quantity but, this time, he’s coming back loaded for bear. Meanwhile, others have carved out their own lanes: Chris Christie is the ultimate Never-Trumper, Asa Hutchinson is the Reagan Republican, Tim Scott is the genuine American black (unlike Barack Obama), Nikki Haley is the woman, etc. The only ones who can’t carve out their own lanes are Vivek Ramaswamy and Ron DeSantis because each is taking Trump’s virtues and claiming, essentially, “I’ll do it better.' ” . . .

. . ."The ad is a clever way for DeSantis to position himself as Trump (all the same great ideas), only better. However, it’s also rather dangerous, it seems to me, to have your ideological opponents, people you think are wrong about everything, stand as your strongest referrals.

"All I know is that I’d love to see Trump, DeSantis, and Vivek on the debate stage in front of an honest moderator. And who knows, some among the others (Haley, Christie, Scott, etc.) might surprise me." . . .

President Biden moves swiftly to dismantle Trump’s oil legacy

Many energy posts are from 2021, when Biden took office. At that time we see the immense stack of executive orders Biden was seen signing; orders placed there by Biden's managers - influencers if you will. TD

Biden Orders Reversal of Trump’s ‘Energy Independence’ Policies - OILMAN Magazine

Joe Biden moves swiftly to dismantle Trump's oil industry legacy (nsenergybusiness.com)   "On January 20, Joe Biden took the oath of office to become the 46th President of the United States of America. He asked in his acceptance speech for American’s to unify. He pledged that his administration will create “good paying union jobs” as they clean up the environment.

"He urged everyone to “Buy American.”

"On January 27, President Biden issued executive orders which did just the opposite. He revoked the federal permit for the continued construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, which will cost 11,000 jobs (8,000 are union jobs), and he temporarily stopped granting permits for oil and gas operations on federal lands, which will reduce U.S. oil production and was immediately challenged with a lawsuit." . . .

Speaking of oil, how about cooking oil?    No crowing from the Bidenites about those 4th of July barbecue prices - Monica Showalter       . . ."Thanks to Joe Biden, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Americans to celebrate the birthday of the United States on July 4 with a traditional barbecue or cookout. In fact, inflation in Biden’s disastrous economy has caused the items for a Fourth of July cookout to reach a record high price.

"But I guess considering that the Biden administration came to power through election fraud, and therefore by defying and undermining the republican system of government designed by our Founding Fathers, it makes sense that the administration wouldn’t care about Americans’ ability to celebrate Independence Day." . . .

Side By Side Video Shows Hunter Biden Smoking Crack, Joe Biden Gives Anti-Crack Crime Bill Speech

Where’s Hunter? White House Evacuated After Cocaine Found – PJ Media   . . ."Are you buying the story that nasal spray was found in the White House? You shouldn’t.

"According to Addiction Resources, “Cocaine hydrochloride is a powder used in drug abuse or as a local anesthetic. Abusing cocaine hydrochloride can result in adverse side effects and risks. Cocaine can be processed to produce three different forms of the drug: cocaine hydrochloride, freebase cocaine, and crack cocaine.”. . .

What does this tell us? Despite the best efforts of some to insinuate that the cocaine hydrochloride found at the White House was innocuous nasal spray, it is highly probable that it was simply a bag of cocaine. There’s been no official indication that it was nasal spray, and the lack of interest in the story by the mainstream media raises some red flags. On top of that, we know that Hunter Biden, a supposedly “recovering” drug addict, was recently at the White House for a state dinner.

Hazmat Situation at White House Leads to Discovery of a Bag of Cocaine They Want You to Believe Is Something Else – RedState  . . ."Since the reports coming from the White House don’t seem to indicate a lot of nasal spray was found, well before prepared into a solution, the substance comes in its solid form, and under those circumstances, cocaine hydrochloride is the technical name for… cocaine. In less formal settings, this may be called “a bag of coke.” . . .

White House evacuated after cocaine hydrochloride found on grounds | The Post Millennial   . . ."They went on to assert that "Despite the best efforts of some to insinuate that the cocaine hydrochloride found at the White House was innocuous nasal spray, it is highly probable that it was simply a bag of cocaine. There’s been no official indication that it was nasal spray, and the lack of interest in the story by the mainstream media raises some red flags. On top of that, we know that Hunter Biden, a supposedly 'recovering' drug addict, was recently at the White House for a state dinner."

"This news comes after Joe Biden took his son, Hunter, to Camp David for two straight weekends, with the dynamic duo traveling on the Marine One helicopter at Fort McNair in Washington, DC. Hunter was also seen appearing as a White House guest at a state dinner held for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi near the end of last month, which also happened to be his first visit back since he agreed to a Department of Justice plea offering regarding two misdemeanors and avoiding a federal gun charge, which some have described as a "sweetheart deal."

The headline has been updated to show that what was found was an analgesic, not the street drug cocaine.

Tyrus rips AOC for criticizing affirmative action ruling: 'Ridiculous'

FOX Nation host Tyrus joins 'Fox & Friends First' to discuss the attacks against the Supreme Court over the decision on affirmative action.

AOC Is Nothing But a Fool (msn.com)  "In a truly spectacular bit of irony, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ripped the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) for its conservative members, notably Justice Samuel Alito, for accepting what she described as “lavish” luxury trips from Paul Singer.

"This, from a sitting member of Congress, an institution whose members’ campaigns are entirely funded by megadonors, like Paul Singer.

"In AOC’s case, she infamously accepted a large chunk of change from Leftist billionaire megadonor, Todd Steyer during her 2018 election in which she claimed that she had never accepted anything other than small-ticket donations (and accused her fellow elected leaders of corruption if they dared to accept money from big donors, like Steyer or Singer).

The problem with AOC is that she effortlessly marries ignorance with hypocrisy in a stunning display of partisan rage.

It’s acceptable for her to take campaign donations—and for her colleagues to do so—which will actually impact their governing. But if a conservative justice at some point takes a nice vacation on a donors’ dime, that justice is, like, literally Hitler and their rulings are completely suspect.

It's Okay When Democrats Do It

What AOC doesn’t note (and what she doesn’t care to know because it’d make her look bad) is that virtually every member of the Supreme Court has taken similar “gifts” from big donors. It isn’t only the conservative members of the court.

The Liberal ones have accepted the same donations from big donors on their side of the political aisle. In 2018, for example, the late, much venerated Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsburg (RBG) “took more trips than any other justice” on private interest dime, for a grand total of 14 privately-funded, lavish trips, according to the Office of Government Ethics.

Here’s Another Reason To Hate EVs –

  Issues & Insights

"As fuel taxes plummet, states weigh charging by the mile instead of the tank.” That was the headline of a recent AP story, which should scare freedom-loving citizens everywhere. And you can place the blame squarely on government-subsidized EVs for this terrible new development.

"The background is that state and federal gasoline taxes aren’t raising “enough” money these days to pay for roadway construction and maintenance. And a big reason for the growing shortfall is the increase in electric vehicles.

"EVs get massive tax subsidies to convince people to buy them, but their owners don’t pay gasoline taxes, for the obvious reason that they never have to fill up. The more EVs on the road, the less revenue the gas taxes raise.

"So the policy geniuses in Washington have a solution: Impose a per-mile tax.

Some states are already experimenting with “vehicle miles traveled” taxes, and the $1 trillion bi-partisan infrastructure bill includes $125 million for state and local pilot programs to test a national VMT fee.

A VMT sounds reasonable, right? After all, every driver imposes costs on roadways. And a mileage tax would capture all drivers, no matter what fuels their cars.

But look more closely, and the VMT tax is perhaps one of the most insidious tax ideas ever devised.

"To start, a VMT tax would be incredibly complicated and costly to impose.

"The gas tax is simple. A relatively small number of large fuel suppliers pay the tax, the costs of which are then passed on to retailers. But by definition, a VMT means collecting money directly from hundreds of millions of owners of hundreds of million cars. How?". . .

Enriching himself and family members is the only business experience he has had in his long, corrupt career.

“It would be easier to dismiss these entanglements if they only involved one of the Bidens,” writes Schweizer. “The fact that it involves five family members indicates that there is a culture within the Biden family that trades off Joe’s power. And Joe appears willing to act on their behalf whenever he can.”  George Neumayr,

Over 300,000 demand inquiry into 'Biden family corruption' (yahoo.com)

The Biden Family Business: Corruption - The American Spectator | USA News and Politics    During his long senatorial career, Joe Biden cast himself as an everyman, “Amtrak Joe,” known for taking the train daily to Washington, D.C., from his home in Delaware. The image he sought to create was one of a simple legislator independent of the usual corrupting influences pols face.
"In truth, Joe Biden knows those influences all too well. He heads up a family of wealthy lobbyists and political operatives who have spent decades trading on his last name.
"In Profiles in Corruption, Peter Schweizer points out that the Biden family’s wealth “depends on Joe Biden’s political influence and involves no less than five family members: Joe’s son Hunter, daughter Ashley, brothers James and Frank, and sister Valerie.”
"Biden’s sister has headed up a political messaging firm, to which “two and a half million dollars flowed … from Citizens for Biden and Biden for President Inc. during the 2008 presidential bid alone,” Schweizer wrote.". . .

SHAPIRO: Joe Biden, Hunter Biden and parental 'love' | Opinion | daily-journal.com  "This past week, Republicans in the House of Representatives revealed the testimony of an IRS whistleblower who worked on the Hunter Biden investigation. That whistleblower had two revelations to present. First, he said that the federal prosecutor overseeing Hunter’s case told at least six witnesses that he had been blocked by Attorney General Merrick Garland from special counsel status — status that would allow him a free hand in fully investigating Hunter. Second, the whistleblower presented a WhatsApp message between Hunter Biden and a Chinese executive shaking down the executive for cash by leveraging Joe Biden’s presence in the room." . . .
. . ."Joe surely loves Hunter. But that love is twisted. Hunter is a 53-year-old wreck of a human being with a trail of abuses of other human beings behind him. Joe may have helped curb Hunter’s addiction, but he has also apparently used his son as a tool and continues to use him as a crutch — and meanwhile, Joe has enabled Hunter throughout his adult life, humoring his egregiously evil behavior. The story here, then, is twofold: political corruption, and the corruption of familial love into something much uglier."

Who Is Really President? Hint, It's Not Crooked Joe

 Townhall

Biden is tightly controlled by his staff who exert powerful control over his presidency. He seems to be in constant fear of getting “in trouble” with “his staff.”

"Yes, Joe Biden is the 46
th President of the United States and enjoys all the benefits of the office, including travel on Air Force One and Secret Service protection. He assumed the office after a controversial and contested election employing a “basement” campaign strategy with few events and media interviews.

"Since his inauguration, his mental and physical condition has seriously deteriorated. With his declining health, it is inconceivable that Joe Biden can serve as President until he is 86 years old. However, when asked about his age and the concerns of Americans, Biden usually says “watch me.”

"Yes, we are watching and that is why millions of Americans are horrified about a physically weakened and mentally incompetent President continuing in the most important office in the world.

"As noted by former White House Physician and U.S. Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Biden is “not fit mentally or physically to be our President, and it’s a bad situation for us.” As Jackson explained, “his physical decline is now starting to highlight the cognitive decline that we’ve been watching for so long now…It’s a package that just doesn’t sell around the world, and it’s becoming a national security issue for us.' ” . . .

Unlike Biden, Obama is still physically and mentally active. He is still incredibly involved in political issues and wants to see the far-left agenda implemented. He knows that if Donald Trump is elected again as President, his legacy will be further destroyed.

UPDATED: Watch as Gavin Newsom runs away from questioner on his presidential campaign’s Achilles Heel

But Newsom has a huge problem. He has tied himself to an extreme position on genital mutilation and puberty blockers for underage children who express – at some point in their childhood – a feeling that they are the opposite sex.

Thomas Lifson; American Thinker   "Gavin Newsom tried to run away from a questioner pressing him about the young people seeking to “de-transition” from life-altering medical measures taken when they were children and thought for a moment that they were then the opposite sex. He steadfastly kept walking and refused to answer her inquiries:"

. . ."Overwhelming majorities oppose irreversible changes for minors. Opposition to taking away custody of a child from parents who seek to protect their children from these changes must have even higher support.

"The trans lobby ruthlessly attacks anyone who tries to back away from full-throated support of their cause.  For instance,  “Dylan Mulvaney says Bud Light’s backlash response was ‘worse than not hiring a trans person at all’”.

"So, any attempt by Newsom to back away from his position will result in outrage from the trans lobby.

"He’s stuck, which is why he ignored the questions and kept on walking.

"But that won’t work in a presidential debate or on the campaign trail."

Yet California voters chose Newsom over others repeatedly.

UPDATED: 5pm CST:   Gavin Newsom campaigns for Biden in Idaho and STILL insists he won't enter the 2024 race | Daily Mail Online

"An NBC poll conducted in late April, the same week Biden announced his 2024 run, found that 70 percent of registered voters didn't want him to run.

"An additional 60 percent said the same thing about former President Donald Trump, who is currently leading the 2024 Republican field.

"Forty-eight percent of those who said Biden shouldn't run said age was a 'major reason' for them to believe that.

"The White House quickly acknowledged last week that the president had started using a CPAP machine to treat sleep apnea when marks were seen on his face from the device's mask.

"The White House was also asked why he's started using the shorter Air Force One stairs more frequently, in the weeks following [his] stumbling over a sandbag on stage at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre didn't have an answer for that. "

Doesn't Pete Buttigieg have an airline crisis to take care of? -

Monica Showalter; American Thinker   "Is Pete Buttigieg the secretary of Transportation, or the secretary of gayness?

"Hard to not think it's the latter, given his horning in with his review of a presidential campaign ad by Florida's governor, Ron DeSantis.

"According to NBC News:

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg took aim Sunday at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for a video attacking former President Donald Trump over LGBTQ rights.

DeSantis’ presidential campaign reposted a video to Twitter last week showing overtures to the LGBTQ community by Trump over the years, including video of him saying he would “do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens” in a speech at the Republican National Convention in 2016. Trump issued the remarks in the wake of the deadly mass shooting at the Pulse Nightclub, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

The second part of the video shifts to focus on DeSantis, appearing to try to portray him as the paragon of masculinity. Thumping background music is accompanied by images of DeSantis, shirtless, muscular men and headlines about the anti-LGBTQ policies DeSantis signed into law.
"I guess Pete found that sexy -- and the rest of us? We hadn't noticed.

"Buttigieg went on and on about this, making the ridiculous claim that DeSantis, whose record in office in Florida is one of unparalleled success, not just on individual matters such as hurricane recovery, but in turning a purple state red, was somehow trying to "prove his manhood," as if he, the Mr. Mom of the Biden administration, were somehow the authority on this matter.

"Now, this is not to say that the ads were good -- President Trump's former top advisor, Ric Grenell, who is gay, noted that they were indeed homophobic, and let's face it, it's stupid for DeSantis to criticize President Trump for his reasonable welcoming of gay people to his administation and in his policies. Most people, both gay and straight, had no problem with Trump's policies. Worse still, the ads don't reflect the real DeSantis, and therefore are inauthentic, as Grenell noted here.? . . .

Merrick Garland's DOJ Is A Threat To The Republic

SEAN HANNITY: Did Merrick Garland commit perjury to protect the Biden family syndicate? | Fox News

Merrick Garland's DOJ Is A Threat To The Republic (thefederalist.com)   "It’s become painfully obvious over the past year that the Justice Department under Attorney General Merrick Garland has been weaponized and politicized to the point that it represents an active threat to the rule of law and the separation of powers. It’s not too much to say that Garland’s DOJ has become a threat to the republic.

"Just take this past week. On Thursday, following an historic 6-3 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that struck down a New York law for violating state residents’ Second Amendment rights, a DOJ spokeswoman released a statement saying “we respectfully disagree” with the ruling.

"The ruling is of course a great victory for the Constitution and a long-overdue vindication of New Yorkers’ Second Amendment rights. The law in question had been on the books for more than a century, and made it nearly impossible for ordinary people to obtain a concealed-carry license, The unconstitutional law forced New Yorkers to prove to a municipal bureaucrat that they needed a gun for self-defense. In practice, this made it almost impossible for law-abiding citizens in New York to exercise their constitutional right to bear arms." . . .
