There's got to be lots of Biden buyer's remorse out there now

 American Thinker

The Biden administration has been a disaster from day one.  All sentient persons know it, even those in deep denial.

Before Biden became president, our economy was humming along, as it usually does.  To keep it working well, the main requirement was to keep out of its way and to keep bureaucrats and politicians in check.  Joe Biden did the exact opposite and we're all paying an enormous price for it.

The millions of Americans who voted for Biden cannot be surprised about how it's turned out.  Joe Biden had a fifty-year history of being an embarrassingly incompetent and corrupt politician.  His voters were willfully blind to that reality.  How many of them lament voting for him?

Anyone who voted for Biden-Harris enabled this disaster.  We are now saddled with two and a half more years of deliberate damage done by this administration.  The policy choices made thus far have been so harmful that even Democrats are looking for ways out.  However, there is no obvious way to end the destruction until 2024, thirty months from now.  A President Harris would just be more of the same.

Democrats and the media pretend there's still a possibility that Biden will run for a second term.  There is no way that will happen, but they have to go through the motions so as to keep him from being a lame duck this early in his first term.

Democrats ought to be furious at their party leaders, and many of them are.  Those leaders are responsible for Biden and Harris being in the White House.  Joe Biden was supposedly the best they had.  But he has been the worst president in our country's history, and all the other candidates would have been just as bad or worse....

There's No Way Joe Biden Survives This: Democrats Must Jettison Him BEFORE Midterm Season Heats Up

""As the Hunter Biden story continues to explode in scandal and scope, it’s becoming  to hide. Even if Fake News and Big Tech keep up their efforts to suppress it, it’s so vast and egregious that it’s going to erupt into a campaign issue in the fall — and Democrats can’t have that.

I previously predicted that party handlers would keep Biden in place until after the midterm elections, then use him as a sop for all the Democrat’s failure vibes before jettisoning him ahead of the 2024 election season. But now, I don’t think they can wait that long: Hunter’s laptop and iPhone disaster is ballooning out of control.

Ordinarily, we on the right would disregard a story like Hunter Biden’s leaked videos and communications because it’s too perfect. It’s got everything: hookers, drugs, dysfunction, and massive Biden family corruption straight up to the top. It validates everything the right has been saying so perfectly, it simply has to be fake. But, no: it’s real.

Besides being the juiciest trove of First Family dirt ever imagined, the scandal involves actionable evidence of crime, corruption, and compromise of the sitting President. Thus, Biden’s tenancy in the White House cannot stand, and there’s no way Democrats are going to leave him in office until Republicans gain control of the Congressional committees — impeachment and removal would be the least of their problems at that point. Their party’s reputation would be in the toilet for a generation.

Democrats are going to have to make their move before then, because picture campaign ads like this running in all the major markets this fall:

Mother Arrested in Police Raid at Home for Calling Transgender 'Man' on Twitter

Neon Nettle

Transgender 'activist' Stephanie Hayden complained to police
that someone used their 'birth name' on Twitter. "their"?

"A mother was arrested in front of her three children during a police raid on her home after she "misgendered" and born-male transgender woman by calling them a "man" on Twitter.

"Kate Scottow was thrown in a jail cell for seven hours after three police officers raided her home in Hertfordshire, UK, seizing her laptop and smartphone.

"The 38-year-old mom of three from Hitchin was later questioned at a police station about an argument with transgender "activist" Stephanie Hayden on Twitter over so-called "deadnaming," which is when a person is referred to as their birth name rather than the name they choose to identify with.

"Mrs. Scottow had her photograph, DNA, and fingerprints taken following her arrest and remains under investigation by Hertfordshire Police for linking Hayden to a "former male identity.". . .

AOC Wants Chuck Schumer To Have The Senate Declare Gorsuch And Kavanaugh Liars

Who is the more mentally challenged: AOC or those who admire her?

Daily Wire

"Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) teamed up with Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA) to issue a letter calling on the Senate to declare Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh liars.

"In the letter — which they addressed to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer — the pair claimed that both Gorsuch and Kavanaugh had lied to the Senate when they said during their respective confirmation hearings that Roe v. Wade was settled precedent.

“ 'Our Constitutional Republic cannot tolerate Supreme Court Justices who lied in order to get confirmed. The legitimacy of the Court is at stake,” Lieu tweeted, sharing a screenshot of the letter. “Letter from @AOC and me requesting the Senate to make a finding on whether Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch lied to the American people.' ”. . .

The fact that both Roe and Casey were “precedent” did not mean that they were necessarily constitutional or that they were not simply bad law, however. Plessy v. Ferguson — which allowed for segregation under the banner of “separate but equal” — was also precedent once, until Brown v. Board of Education reversed that. Korematsu v. United States — which allowed for the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II — was also considered precedent until it wasn’t.

Liz Cheney Funded by Top Democrat Donors for Republican Primary

Elites tied to Obama and Hillary Clinton funding GOP lawmaker's campaign

. . ."Democratic political elites are funding Cheney’s reelection bid in Wyoming’s Republican primary against Trump-endorsed challenger Harriet Hageman.

"Polling shows Hageman has taken a huge lead with the primary just around the corner.

"The American donor class is taking notice of Cheney’s shrinking chances of retaining her seat on August 16.

"Establishment donors are now coming out of the woodwork to protect one of their own as they fear Cheney may lose through a series of political miscalculations"

"One of the Democrats’ most prominent donors, film producer Jeffrey Katzenberg, who has funded Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s former presidential campaigns, has donated at least $43,000 to Cheney.

"The totality of the sum has not been disclosed for unknown reasons.

“We agree on little, if anything,” Katzenberg admitted in an interview with the New York Times.". . .

Trump May Have Already Settled On A Running Mate For 2024: REPORT

Daily Caller

"Former President Donald Trump is reportedly considering New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik to be his vice presidential nominee, should he make another run for the White House in 2024, multiple GOP sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

"Trump’s inner circle has allegedly begun to talk about Stefanik, the third-ranking Republican in the House and chair of the House Republican Conference (HRC), potentially joining the ticket, in part due to the belief he would benefit from selecting a woman, CNN reported.

“ 'There is a part of Trump who thinks he needs a female VP. He definitely likes her, likely because of how effusive she is to him,” a Trump advisor told CNN.

"Two of the sources said Trump has been asking friends and allies for their thoughts on Stefanik, believing she has shed her former moderate persona and become a prominent figure in the MAGA-wing of the party. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik Details Her Efforts To Have Liz Cheney Removed From Leadership)

“ 'President Trump thinks very highly of Elise Stefanik,” Chris Ruddy, a longtime friend of Trump, told the outlet. “She has been talked about in circles close to him as a potential vice presidential.' ”. . .

Democrats Increasingly Uneasy With Biden Reelection Bid; Party leaders and voters are looking for alternatives.

“His prospects for winning re-election appear to be bleak. With so much at stake, making him the Democratic Party’s standard bearer in 2024 would be a tragic mistake.”

The American Spectator     "Amid President Joe Biden’s sagging approval ratings, many Democrats are viewing a reelection bid with increasing skepticism. His fellow partisans seem to be looking elsewhere, motivated by dissatisfaction with the state of the country, fear that he is too old for the office, and mounting terror that he will be unable to defeat former President Donald Trump in a rematch.

"The litany of problems engulfing the Biden administration needs no introduction: soaring inflationhigh gas prices, and a wide-open southern border. Many Democrats further charge that Biden has been ineffective at pursuing their left-wing policy goals, including the aborted “Build Back Better” bill, fighting against the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade, and restricting the Second Amendment. The president’s popularity is under siege from all sides; according to the RealClearPolitics polling average, his job approval rating stands at under 38 percent.

"In a new poll released on Monday by the New York Times, only 33 percent of voters approve of Biden’s job performance, while 60 percent disapprove. Even among Democrats, 70 percent of whom approved of Biden’s job performance overall, there are significant signs of discontent. Just one-quarter of Democrats want the party to renominate Biden in 2024. Sixty-four percent said they would like a “different person.”

"Of those Democrats who wanted a nominee other than Biden, the top reasons they gave were Biden’s advanced age and disappointment with his job as president. While desire for a new nominee spanned across demographic divides, younger voters were especially down on Biden: 5 percent of Democrats between the ages of 18 to 29 want him to be the nominee, while 94 percent want somebody else. Black voters, an instrumental part of the coalition that won Biden the nomination in 2020, are more favorable toward him. But even among them, 47 percent would prefer a new candidate.

"Democratic discontent with the president is also percolating in the highest echelons of his party.". . .

“As of today, I am not allowed to enter the States under these circumstances,” Djokovic said.

“ 'I will just have to wait and see. I would love to go to the States. But as of today that is not possible. There is not much I can do anymore. It is up to the U.S. government to make a decision whether or not they allow the unvaccinated people to go in to the country.”

Army Suspends Retired Three-Star General for Snarky Reply to Jill Biden on Twitter

 Legal Insurrection

So a three-star who repeatedly risked his life for us gets punished for a comment protected by the First Amendment? If Jill and company are so sensitive, find a safe space with other birthing people

Retired three-star general Gary Volesky suspended after tweet at Jill Biden
"Retired lieutenant general Gary Volesky, a former spokesman for the Army, responded to a tweet from Biden about the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, in which the First Lady remarked that women’s rights had been “stolen.”
"Biden tweeted that “for nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies. Today, that right was stolen from us.”
"Volesky responded, “Glad to see you finally know what a woman is.”
"Volesky’s tweet has since been taken down.
"The Army suspended Volesky, who had signed a $92 an hour contract to advise active duty officers as a mentor, while it conducts an investigation, according to USA TODAY. Volesky was formerly in charge of the Army’s 101st Airborne Division.

Joe is in good with Chairman XI and Bruce the Boss (Obama's soulmate)

Don Surber    The outlier Civiqs Poll showed Biden's approval is down to 29%. That is the danger zone below 30% where Truman decided against a second term and Nixon resigned.

"I say outlier because neither 538 nor Real Clear Politics include the poll in their averages. Both show him under 40.

Reuters has him at 39% approval with only 69% approval among Democrats.

"I say only because at this point in Trump's presidency, Reuters had him at 39% approval with 83% approval among Republicans.

"Biden is losing his own party. A year ago he was at 85% approval among Democrats. Now it is at 69%. What happens when that falls below 50%?

"Biden is in a terrible place politically. Republicans disapprove because of what he has done. Democrats disapprove because of what he has not done.

"But his fate is really in the hands of Chairman Xi. As long as he delivers for Red China, Biden will remain in power.". . .

What Bruce Springsteen Has Said About Joe Biden (newsweek.com)

Gallup Poll: Trust In News Outlets Hits a Historic Low

 Newsbusters

"The American people's trust in news outlets has hit a historic low, according to Gallup’s annual survey on confidence in major U.S. institutions. It's like they've discovered that "straight news" isn't their primary goal.

"Both newspapers and television news have seen another drop in confidence over the past year, with each losing an average five percent of people who said they had a “great deal” of trust in such institutions. Gallup has been measuring "confidence in institutions" since 1973, and annually since 1993.

"Television news is now considered the second least-trusted institution in America, after Congress, with just 11 percent of respondents telling Gallup they have “quite a lot” of trust in television news. Newspapers aren't much better at 16 percent.

"On Twitter, Glenn Greenwald noted Democrats trust the media far more than the Republicans and independents because "everyone knows what side they're on." . . .

Democrats destroy nations

Sri Lanka foolishly signed on to the green initiative in farming, going organic and limiting the importation and use of chemical fertilizers. Food production, including tea, a vital export earner of foreign exchange, collapsed, and now the government is broke, people are hungry.

Sri Lanka doesn't have Hollywood and TV commentators to contend with. TD

Thomas Lifson  "Green tyranny has finally provoked mass reactions, and the first government has fallen after imposing insane policies that wrecked the food supply for its people. Both the president and the prime minister of Sri Lanka are resigning in the wake of massive mobs storming and occupying their residences, burning the PM’s private house and refusing to leave the presidential palace until both men are out of office. The BBC reports:

Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has confirmed he will be resigning, the prime minister's office has said.

It comes two days after crowds stormed the official residence of both leaders. Demonstrators are still occupying the buildings and are refusing to leave until both leaders are gone.

The parliament Speaker had earlier said the president would resign on 13 July.

Mr Rajapaksa's current whereabouts are unknown. The BBC has been told that he is on a navy vessel at sea.

His resignation was first announced by the parliament Speaker on Saturday, but many Sri Lankans responded with scepticism to the idea that he would relinquish power.

On Monday, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe's office said in a statement it had been informed by Mr Rajapaksa that he would step down on Wednesday.

However, there has still been no direct word from Mr Rajapaksa.

"This Rumble video shows the incredible size of the crowd storming the presidential palace:
