“As of today, I am not allowed to enter the States under these circumstances,” Djokovic said.
“ 'I will just have to wait and see. I would love to go to the States. But as of today that is not possible. There is not much I can do anymore. It is up to the U.S. government to make a decision whether or not they allow the unvaccinated people to go in to the country.”
"When asked about waiting for an exemption from the U.S. government to allow him to enter the competition, He said, “I’m not vaccinated, and I am not planning to get vaccinated.” He went on to say he “didn’t know if an exemption was realistically possible.' ”. . .
