Carol Costello, the media and the Palins

Washington Post Calls for CNN's Carol Costello to Apologize to Palin Family On-Air

Supposed Feminist Carol Costello Loves the Sound of Bristol Palin Attacked by Drunken Men
Quoting excerpts from Rush Limbaugh, who knows a thing or two about Carol Costello:
"What happened was Bristol Palin, the daughter of Sarah Palin, got beat up.  She basically got beat up and ended up calling the cops, and Carol Costello at CNN just thought it was the greatest news that she'd ever heard.  Oh, yeah, Carol talked about this as being something that we hadn't enjoyed in a long, long time." ...
COSTELLO:  Okay, I'm just gonna come right out and say it.  This is quite possibly the best minute-and-a-half of audio we've ever come cross -- well, come across in a long time, anyway. (laughing)
... "Now, here's Carol Costello, a supposed feminist, a supposed opponent of violence against women. I mean, would just be angry as hell if any other woman had been treated this way. Had they been attacked and it was on audiotape and she was playing it, she would be righteously indignant and probably blaming the Republican War on Women. But here she's eating it up. Here she just loves it, a supposed feminist, a supposed opponent of violence against women, presented an audiotape of a young woman describing being attacked and beaten by a bunch of drunken men as the most delicious thing she had ever heard in her life. " ... Other links:

...“ 'I never wanted to become the poster child for anything, let alone domestic violence. But my blood is boiling, so when I say shut up, I’m venting at all those people out there who insist on blaming the victim,” Costello wrote with righteous fury directed at the National Football League (and the morning show Fox & Friends) over what she considered an insufficient level of concern for an incident involving Ray Rice striking his fiancĂ©."

Here is how ABC covered the story

If the Palin family is fair game, why does Joe Biden get a pass for the conduct of his son?
Mr. Cooke does not hold Sarah Palin in high regard, but has this to say about the press treatment of her:
"All in all, I can think of few people in public life who have been as disgracefully hounded as has Palin; and nor, for that matter, can I recall a single figure in the past decade who has been subjected to self-serving double standards by the press and by elite culture writ large." ...

Debate crowd loudly laughs at “War Against Women” charge by female Dem challenger

A new low point for Martha Robertson’s failing campaign.

... "When a candidate loses credibility, it’s hard to regain.

At the candidate debate tonight, that lost credibility was evidenced when Robertson accused Reed of being part of the War Against Women. She actually used the phrase “you’re part of the War against Women.”

The crowd laughed so hard, Robertson had to ask for more time." ...

"She joined Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) and others to do away with the Senate rules so the majority could pass the nominations for Obama. Senator Landrieu does not want you to think she votes with Obama all the time, even though she does! That is where part of her lies begin to catch up with her. "  Full article

Hillary Clinton: “Don’t Let Anybody Tell You That It’s Corporations And Businesses That Create Jobs” …

Hillary Clinton: Business Don’t Create Jobs!   ... "But it tells us so much about Hillary Clinton.
“Don’t let anybody tell you that raising the minimum wage will kill jobs,” Clinton said. “They always say that.”
“ 'They” being the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office, which predicts that raising the minimum wage could destroy half a million jobs. Aren’t “they” horrible?"

Weasel Zippers  Bear in mind that corporations and businesses financed  those roads and bridges.

Democrats.

Best “you didn’t build that” political cartoon "A really good political cartoon sums up the absurdity of a situation without much verbiage.

"This cartoon by A.F. Branco (original here, reprinted with permission) captures perfectly how out of touch Obama is when discussing the role of government in helping individuals succeed.

"Sure, taxes (including from business owners) go towards building a common infrastructure, but government also imposes substantial barriers to success.

"Contrary to Obama’s narrative, you do have to be smarter and/or work harder to succeed in order to overcome the regulatory and tax burden government places on success.  Most people understand this, just not the President.  See this Tony Branco cartoon at  http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/07/best-you-didnt-build-that-political-cartoon/

Why didn’t Crown prosecutors charge Rouleau with attempting to leave Canada to participate in terrorist activity when he was apprehended at the airport en route to Syria to wage jihad?

The media and political disinformation machine is massive. The Islamic supremacist groups have hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign nations and agents.
This is a teachable moment.
The Muslim groups LASH out at us. Why? Why aren't they lashing out at the jihadists they claim are "perverting" Islam? Because they aren't perverting it, and Islamic supremacists know this. They may not be setting off bombs, but these Islamic groups such as Hamas-CAIR are imposing their Islamic agenda with "money, media and men."
They want to stop us -- but they won't.
Their death threats just expose who and what they are.

WP: 8 Black Witnesses Support Officer Wilson’s Account

Sweetness and Light  ... "Whoops. But, once again, why are we only hearing about these witnesses now, more than six months after the shooting? (On August 9th.)

"Also, and more troubling, why has everyone from the governor to the police chief spoken as if the officer was at fault. Even to the point of apologizing to the Brown family and the nation in general."

The Gentle Giant, left.
Evidence supports officer’s account of shooting in Ferguson  ... "Because Wilson is white and Brown was black, the case has ignited intense debate over how police interact with African American men. But more than a half-dozen unnamed black witnesses have provided testimony to a St. Louis County grand jury that largely supports Wilson’s account of events of Aug. 9, according to several people familiar with the investigation who spoke with The Washington Post.

"Some of the physical evidence — including blood spatter analysis, shell casings and ballistics tests — also supports Wilson’s account of the shooting, The Post’s sources said, which casts Brown as an aggressor who threatened the officer’s life." ...
Here it comes
...
"The autopsy says that Brown was shot in the forehead, twice in the chest and once in the upper right arm. The fatal wound to Brown’s head indicates that he was leaning or falling forward, and the path of a sixth shot, which hit Brown’s forearm and traveled from the back of his arm to his inner arm, means that Brown’s palms were not facing Wilson in an act of surrender, according to analysts cited by the Post-Dispatch." ...

Man Attacks NYC Police With Hatchet; Authorities Probe Possible Terror Ties "One day after an attack in Canada, a man suspected of terror ties attacked two New York City police with a hatchet. New surveillance video shows the suspect about to launch the hatchet attack in Jamaica, Queens. A freelance photographer had just asked four police officers to pose for a photo when a man pulled a hatchet from his bag, hitting one officer in the arm and another in the head." ...

Charlie Rangel to MSNBC: ISIS no threat to U.S.

Charlie Rangel says ISIS no threat to U.S.
... "Nevertheless, Rangel believes the group poses no threat to the country. The New York Democrat isn't alone in his denial, however. Recently, Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., said "there's no evidence" that Muslim extremists are coming after Americans."

ISIS Crisis? Kerry Blames the Jews!    ... "We have watched as much of the gruesome beheadings by ISIS killers as we can bear. We have yet to hear one of those brutal murderers say: “You know, we wouldn’t be doing this if the Israelis would just make nice.' ”

Michael Zehaf-Bibeau – More Questions: Canadian Terrorist’s Dad was Jihadist;  I've posted this for information about the killer's father; what Ms. Schlussel says about his mother you should take with a grain of salt in my opinion. It seems a bit "out there". TD:

Where is Bulgasem Zehaf a/k/a Belgasem Zahef, Libyan jihadist father of Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, and why haven’t we heard from him in a lip service condemnation of his son’s jihad? Did Canadian officials question him about his role in his son’s recent activities or his own ties to Al-Qaeda in Libya? And there are many other questions, which I’ve raised below about this guy, none of them answered." ...

It’s Like a Gang Land Initiation
... "Nope. Christians are a problem and you are bigot for daring to connect the dots on Islam. Just ask Ben Affleck, bigot.

"In Rotherham, England, over a period of years muslim(sic) men routinely gang raped young, white English girls. The local authorities were so fearful of stirring up ethnic tension that they turned a blind eye to it.

"The authorities and media were so held hostage to political correctness they could not confront the problem. To this day many of the major press reports have bypassed any talk of it being muslim(sic) men."

Two local “anti-fracking” California proposals could ban most oil and gas production.

Not Just a Fracking Ban   "Under the guise of an anti-fracking initiative, environmental groups in two California counties have sneaked into a ballot measure language that would impose sweeping restrictions on the entire energy sector, banning even conventional oil- and gas-production methods that do not involve fracking and have been safely used for decades.

"The ballot measures in Santa Barbara and San Benito Counties have enjoyed support from bigger environmental groups, including 350.org, the Sierra Club, the Center for Biological Diversity, and Food and Water Watch, which have marketed the initiatives as a decision about outlawing fracking." ...

Krauthammer: Barack Obama, bewildered bystander

"The president is upset. Very upset. Frustrated and angry. Seething about the government’s handling of Ebola, said the front-page headline in the New York Times last Saturday.

"There’s only one problem with this pose, so obligingly transcribed for him by the Times. It’s his government. He’s president. Has been for six years. Yet Barack Obama reflexively insists on playing the shocked outsider when something goes wrong within his own administration.

"The IRS? “It’s inexcusable, and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I am angry about it,” he thundered in May 2013 when the story broke of the agency targeting conservative groups. “I will not tolerate this kind of behavior in any agency, but especially in the IRS.”

"Except that within nine months, Obama had grown far more tolerant, retroactively declaring this to be a phony scandal without “a smidgen of corruption..' ”...  Full article

Iranian President’s Senior Adviser Calls Obama The “Weakest U.S. President”…

"Hey, that's not true! . . . No, wait, yes it is."

Via Free Beacon:
"The Iranian president’s senior advisor has called President Barack Obama “the weakest of U.S. presidents” and described the U.S. leader’s tenure in office as “humiliating,” according to a translation of the highly candid comments provided to the Free Beacon.

"The comments by Ali Younesi, senior advisor to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, come as Iran continues to buck U.S. attempts to woo it into the international coalition currently battling the Islamic State (IS, ISIL, or ISIS).
...
"Younesi took a more conciliatory view towards U.S. Democrats, who he praised for viewing Iran as “no threat.' ”
