From Ann Coulter; Breaking: Trump Still an Idiot (but not a Democrat)

 Ann Coulter
The police officer who killed George Floyd when he was resisting arrest is serving 22 years in prison. The law enforcement officer who killed Babbitt when she was trespassing is accepting hearty congratulations for killing a Trump supporter.

"With the latest indictment of Donald Trump, special counsel Jack Smith has delivered a comprehensive and well-documented case establishing beyond cavil that Trump is a clown.

"Well, that's something we've never heard before! Oh no, sorry, I mean we've heard it every day for the past 2 1/2 years: It seems that -- stop me if you know this one -- after losing the election, Trump lied to his supporters about election fraud, which led to the Jan. 6 riot by a right-wing mob.

" The most shocking fact was that the mob was right-wing. Every other violent mob in the nation's history has been left-wing. But their violence immediately goes into the Memory Hole. By contrast, Democrats and the media will not stop talking about Jan. 6.

"The indictment does not charge Trump with "incitement," and it's not a crime to tell gigantic lies that lead people to commit acts of blinding stupidity. If it were, the entire media and Democratic Party would be in prison for life.

"Those lies led to such an explosion of violence after the Day of Our Floyd, May 25, 2020, that by the end of the year, the annual murder rate had shot up by 30%.

"As direct result of the media's lies about racist AmeriKKKa, thousands upon thousands of people were killed who would otherwise be alive. The BLM/antifa riots caused billions of dollars in property damage -- and that's only counting insurance claims submitted in 2020. Not only that, but the orgy of homicide, violence, arson and robbery inspired by the media's lies continues to this day." . . .

The Day Tucker Carlson Was Fired, This Is What Was About To Air

 The Hayride

. . ."Jack Smith was the unscrupulous federal prosecutor who went after former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell on corruption charges when there was no evidence he’d actually done anything. McDonnell was convicted, but the Supreme Court threw out that conviction on a 9-0 vote in a landmark case.

"That’s an interesting aside, but it’s neither here nor there in the main thrust of this – which is that here you have the chief of the Capitol Police, whom Nancy Pelosi later got rid of, essentially saying that Jan. 6 was a Reichstag fire event. He said the crowd was full of federal agents, who are most properly described as agents provocateur, and he said the failure to properly support the Capitol Police when the intelligence was readily available as to the size of the crowd that would be on hand at the Capitol, not to mention the overreaction afterward – the razor wire and armed cordon around the building, complete with the assignment of the buffoonish Russell Honore to oversee the “emergency” security, and Sund’s firing after the fact, lend the air of a cover-up to all of this.

"Stephen Sund was never called to testify by Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee.

That riot at the Capitol disrupted a planned exposition in front of the American people of the very irregularities in vote-counting and other deficiencies in the election that the legacy corporate media has for three years denied happened in the 2020 election.

"And Carlson was let go before this interview could air. Just before, as a matter of fact.

"Do you not think that Stephen Sund saying there’s a considerable cover-up of what really happened on Jan. 6, and that the crowd was salted with agitators working for the feds, was newsworthy enough that Fox News should have aired it at some point? Even if Carlson was rightly fired, from their perspective, for different reasons – they had that tape. And it’s been months since the firing but they didn’t air it?" . . .

EV's

New data shows temperatures above 86F begins a precipitous decline of EV performance - American Thinker   "Okay, so let me get this straight regarding the “quirks” of electric vehicles. If you’re fleeing a natural disaster, like a hurricane for instance, the nature of the design might impede efficient and safe evacuation; or they might simply explode, because exposure to salt water can link the positive and negative battery terminals, causing a short circuit. Well, if they’re just sitting there too I guess, there’s still a heightened risk of spontaneous explosion with a long-burning, extra-hot, inextinguishable fire. They don’t really work in “cold” weather, and now, according to new data, “excessive heat can greatly diminish electric vehicle range” too?" . . .

Biden's biggest gaslight: Claiming his bid to jail Trump is just justice chugging along

Monica Showalter- American Thinker  "Polls show that much of the American public believes that the Justice Department and its state allies are targeting President Trump for political reasons.

"That hasn't stopped Joe Biden and company to claim there's nothing of the sort going on, starting with Biden's claims early in his presidency that his Justice Department would operate "totally independent of me."

"In June, Bloomberg News reported that he has since kept up with that line of claims, putting it this way:

President Joe Biden dismissed suggestions that a potential indictment of his predecessor and top 2024 rival Donald Trump by the Justice Department would be politically motivated, telling reporters he was “honest.”

“You’ll notice I have never once, one single time suggested the Justice Department what they should do or not do relative to bring in a charge or not bring a charge. I’m honest,” Biden said Thursday during a press conference with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the White House.

"Joe using the organs of state to target his political opponent? That denial has about as much credibility as his claim to being honest.

"LibertyOne's Erica Carlin did some digging and brought back the receipts:

The New York Times reported in March 2023: “In the past, Mr. Biden privately told his close circle of advisers that Mr. Trump posed a threat to democracy and should be prosecuted for his role in the events of Jan. 6, according to two people familiar with his comments. He also told confidants that he wanted Attorney General Merrick B. Garland to stop acting like a ponderous judge and to take decisive action.”

These business owners (and also just people walking down the street) are being ignored by local police and prosecutors as they are harassed, assaulted, and stolen from. It was just a matter of time before someone reached their breaking point and lashed out.

Life for Rapinoe will go on

Insufferable Soccer Women Will Have to Be Embarrassing at Home – PJ Media ..." Rapinoe is a poisonous woman who spends a significant amount of time complaining about the country that she represents on the national team. She’s an egomaniacal ingrate and, sadly, her antics rubbed off on some of her teammates. Earlier in this tournament, my HotAir colleague Karen Townsend wrote about the fact that may of the women on the team weren’t singing the National Anthem:

We’ve seen this show before – the USWNST wins a spot in World Cup competition and then the team embarrasses at least half of America for their behavior while overseas. It’s obnoxious enough for the far-left progressive members of the team to make political points at home, it’s worse when they do it overseas. They are too young and naive to understand the meaning of leaving politics at the water’s edge. Progressives don’t care about that kind of thing. Democrats from Joe Biden on down the line go overseas and freely criticize their opponents in a lame attempt to puff themselves up.

The reason we leave politics at the water’s edge – or used to do that – is because it is a sign of national strength to show a united front. Leftists don’t care about that anymore. This attitude seeps into other areas, including sports competitions. We’ve seen athletes make statements by kneeling during the national anthem. Some refuse to leave the locker room until the national anthem is finished playing.

"Rapinoe and her ilk not only don’t care if they’re bringing shame on loyal Americans while representing the U.S. in foreign lands, but they also seem to revel in it. They’re playing to the leftists who embrace commie nonsense from Academia." . . .

Argus Hamilton's Rogue Report

Argus Hamilton (jewishworldreview.com)  Donald Trump flew from his golf club in New Jersey to Washington Thursday to plead innocent to the latest round of charges brought against him by against in federal court. His legal jeopardy is clear. If Donald Trump is convicted on all counts he could get four-to-eight years as Governor of Illinois.

Kamala Harris declared economic victory Friday but then added most people are a four hundred dollar expense away from bankruptcy. It's why the nation gets nervous whenever Biden goes cycling on vacation. That twenty-nine dollar helmet is the only thing between the American people and Kamala.

NBC News aired video of President Biden racing around Delaware on his bicycle well ahead of his Secret Service detail while on vacation Wednesday, but Joe was careful to wear his protective helmet. Millions of 2024 voters have just one question. What is the helmet even protecting at this point?

Barack Obama told President Biden at their lunch Thursday that Donald Trump was going to be a formidable challenge to Democrats in 2024. Later that day, Biden put in an urgent call to the leader of Australia. To get enough jurors for all the court cases against Trump, we'll have to import kangaroos.

Donald Trump stood before a federal magistrate in New York Thursday and pleaded not guilty to all four charges relating to his reaction refuting the posted results of the 2020 election. Apparently it's now a federal crime to say out loud in public that you've been cheated. It left Hillary Clinton speechless.

ABC News deceptively edited Trump's speech on January 6th urging protestors to demonstrate peacefully and patriotically to make it look like he was inciting a riot. It could have been worse. ABC is owned by Disney which has plenty of voice-over actors available to dub Trump's speech into German.

Barack Obama dropped by Joe Biden's beach house for lunch Thursday and said he'll do all he can on the campaign trail and in media to re-elect Joe in 2024. The president couldn't contain his glee. After the lunch Biden ran out to the beach and told Jill he was just endorsed by Denzel Washington.

President Biden hailed good economic news Friday as proof that Bidenomics is working. Biden promised even more action when six hundred billion dollars of his Infrastructure Bill money kicks in. Politicians are people who, when they see the light at the end of the tunnel, go out and buy more tunnel.

Hunter Biden's partner Devon Archer's transcribed revelations were released on Thursday, confirming Joe Biden met in person at a dinner with Hunter and his overseas business investors in 2015. Democrats called his affidavit Russian disinformation. That was in honor of Throwback Thursday.

Donald Trump ripped the urban squalor he saw in Washington, D.C., Thursday and he mentioned it in post-arraignment remarks, noting that Mexico just warned its citizens that D.C. is too dangerous to visit due to drug gang violence. That's what we always say about them. We are now Mexico's Mexicans.

The FBI reports a spike in L.A. home burglaries is leaving suburban residents reluctant to leave their homes for fear of being ransacked. One summer in college, I sold home security alarms door-to-door, and I became very good at it. If no one was home, I'd just leave a brochure on the kitchen table.

The White House was presented with demands from the Oakland NAACP to do something and clamp down on the nationwide violence epidemic. The FBI just announced a crackdown on capital crimes. Next week the Justice Department plans to indict Donald Trump for the murder of Elvis Presley.

Donald Trump was arraigned in Washington Thursday on charges of doubting the 2020 election results. MSNBC pundits called it the biggest threat to our democracy since 9-11, Watergate and the Civil War. Pearl Harbor and O.J. were added when the mail-in threats to our democracy were counted.

Donald Trump's judge on his January 6th case is a female Obama-appointed judge who used to work in Hunter Biden's law firm. I guess Hillary was unavailable. If he's jailed for contempt they have Jeffrey Epstein's prison guards on speed dial so he maybe should stop wearing those long neckties.

President Biden risks impeachment inquiry after Hunter's business partners refuted Joe's claim he knew nothing of Hunter's business deals. Joe just can't win. For 50 years, everyone in D.C. has said Joe Biden doesn't know anything and when he finally says he didn't know anything nobody believes him.

Hunter Biden's partner Devon Archer gave a transcribed interview to a House Republican and Democrat about Hunter, Joe and foreign business deals. The Democrat reported that Archer said that Joe only discussed the weather with Hunter's clients. They all raved about how Hunter can make it rain.

The White House refused comment Wednesday on e-mails which showed that the administration pressured Facebook to squelch any FB posts that doubted the Covid vaccine's safety and effectiveness. People in L.A. are still taking precautions. Just today I saw a guy vaccinate himself behind the bus station.

Just Stop Oil protestors delayed traffic in Europe by super-gluing themselves to freeways and airport runways Friday. The public is furious at them. Police in England asked a man who witnessed five men attacking a climate protestor why he didn't help, and the man said he thought five was enough.

The Denver Post reported a new church in Denver has opened called the International Church of Cannabis where the congregation smokes marijuana in their worship ritual. The congregation's favorite hymn is Amazing Grass. Toward the end of each service holy communion is served by Taco Bell.

HBO's Bill Maher criticized big cities that are overwhelming local services by taking in so many illegal immigrants under their titles of being a Sanctuary City. The illegals are reportedly drug dealing, carjacking, robbing and hooking on street corners. The good news is, they've yet to break any local laws.

Black Grievance Politics Is Destroying Civilization

 American Greatness
Without security, there is anarchy. And where there is anarchy, the state can command neither legitimacy nor respect.

"Arguably, the greatest indictment of leftism is its preference for the vagrant and the criminal over the law-abiding citizen and victim. In politics, there are all kinds of disagreements about the role and scope of the state, but the one thing the state must do is protect the innocent.

"Without security, there is anarchy. And where there is anarchy, the state can command neither legitimacy nor respect. Yet racial idolaters on the Left have pushed society to forgo basic expectations of public order and civilized conduct. Demanding anything more than day-to-day chaos would be cruel to “marginalized” people like deranged homeless black men on the subway.

"The Left has a warped infatuation with society’s most entitled, recalcitrant, and destructive elements. Their latest martyr is a lunatic named Jordan Neely, who was killed while threatening commuters in Manhattan on Monday morning. The man, portrayed by sympathetic media as a “Michael Jackson impersonator,” was throwing garbage at people and making vaguely threatening statements about his willingness to go to prison for life. A reasonable person would feel afraid in this situation, as passengers doubtless did. A heroic vigilante intervened and put Neely in a chokehold. Two other men helped restrain Neely, who later died.

"Seldom is the line between civilization and savagery drawn so clearly as it was in Jordan Neely’s subway car. The Left has demonized the vigilante for his “barbaric” supposed “lynching,” but this gets it precisely backward. Barbarism on the subway is a daily occurrence; it is part of the atmosphere. Barbarism is forcing commuters to fear for their lives and property on a Monday morning. It’s what you call it when vagrants shove people to their deaths in front of moving trains, and all the state can do is shrug." . . .

Megan Rapinoe CHOKES For USWNT

Woke US Women's Soccer Team LOSES, Get ELIMINATED From World Cup!

From the comments to this post:

"As a long time US football (yes, football) fan, I could not be happier today. I had not watched any of the games because of the hateful see you next Tuesday’s attitude during the national anthem. However, Jason Whitlock convinced me to “hate watch” and root for Sweden. I am so glad I did. It was so rewarding. Best part, as Sweden celebrated, they played Abba in the stadium!"

U.S. goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher fruitlessly argued she had saved Hurtig's attempt, but it was ruled over the line by VAR. The stadium played Abba's “Dancing Queen” in the stadium as the Swedes celebrated and the U.S. players sobbed.

Our first experience seeing the womens soccer team in 2019:
"Some claimed Team USA showed a lack of class for celebrating goals deep into its 13-0 rout of Thailand.   "So many people calling the US Women classless because they celebrated their goals. How about Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd going over to comfort some of the Thailand players immediately after the final whistle? That's class," someone else wrote." . . .

If God does not exist, then where does America end up?

Members of that illustrious group Antifa feel free to riot, destroy, and set fire to any city where their idea of justice is violated. Contrast this with the J6 Americans, some of whom were arrested via SWAT teams in the early morning hours, overcharged with ridiculous crimes, and denied bail for over two years for simply walking around the Capitol taking touristy photos.

Wendy V. Gallagher - American Thinker   "Are you really surprised at the cultural rot currently assaulting our American way of life?  If you subscribe to a transcendent morality, you shouldn't be, because it is evident that America has become godless.

"In The Brothers Karamazov, Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky outlined that without the existence of God, there is no standard of good, no objective truth, and thus everything is permitted.  Our Founders understood that for a republic to flourish, it must have a foundational standard of truth and justice — not a theocracy, but a form of government shaped by the idea that there is a holy God, a Divine Providence, who demands fealty to basic biblical truth and morality.  That standard of ordered liberty, those unalienable rights endowed by Nature's God, were set forth in the Declaration and the Constitution for a "moral people."  Because we are abandoning every shred of Ten Commandments decency, and genuflecting to the almighty god of tolerance, the "everything is permitted" part is destroying our American way of life.

"Consider our public education system.  Educators and school boards advocate for sexual materials and pornography in our schools, and they indoctrinate and confuse the most vulnerable members of our society, our children.  Yes, this is a slippery slope.  Since everything is permitted, our children are now encouraged to question their own sex.  And don't stop at questioning; you may be a female (recall XX chromosomes), but if you think and feel you may be a male, go ahead and "transition" with "gender affirming care," which includes hormones and "top surgery"!  Parents, either wrest control of your school boards, or get your kids out of the public school system." . . .

Rachel Zegler’s Contempt for Snow White Reflects a Culture That’s Forgotten Fairy Tales -

But Zegler and Gadot are merely parroting modern talking points about stories that have been with us for centuries. Stories that have stayed with us for centuries. Because they mean something to us. Because they matter.

‘Snow White’ Goes Snow Woke (dailysignal.com)

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics  "It’s no longer 1937.” This seems to be Rachel Zegler’s catchphrase when speaking about her role as Snow White in the upcoming live-action remake of Disney’s first animated feature film. She says it with contempt. With raised eyebrows and an eye roll.

"The original film is “extremely dated,” Zegler adds, in a recently resurfaced video from the 2022 D23 Expo. It leaves no room for “women being in roles of power” and is incredibly limited in its depiction of “what a woman is fit for in the world.” In other words, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is trash — horribly outdated and unforgivably anti-feminist. Good thing film historian and fairy tale scholar Rachel Zegler is here to set us straight.

"Zegler, of course, is not a fairy tale scholar, nor is she a film historian — which is a relief. But she is an actress who has been hired to play a role, and, apparently, the entirety of her research into her character’s history can be boiled down to one insightful comment: “It’s no longer 1937.” Thank you for that, Ms. Zegler. We’ll adjust our calendars accordingly.

" 'Sadly, Zegler’s apparent ignorance is common. We, as a culture, have forgotten how to read fairy tales. What’s more, we’ve forgotten that the original Disney princess movies were based on them. It may not be 1937 — the year in which Walt Disney’s groundbreaking film was released — but (shocker!) Disney didn’t write the story of Snow White. It exists within the canon of Western fairy tales made popular by the Brothers Grimm in 1812 and, later in the century, by the likes of Hans Christian Andersen and George MacDonald.

"Fairy tales, we used to understand, are not meant to be taken literally. They are allegories, filled with symbolic elements that weave a metaphorical tapestry to impart universal truths. A dark forest represents inner turmoil, a mirror always reflects the truth, outer beauty is a stand-in for inner goodness, and so on. (You can read much more on this here.) Viewed this way, Snow White — Zegler would be shocked to learn — is a uniquely female story. It’s about women’s bodies and the changes that bring them into adulthood." . . .
