From the Obama Democrat administration

How does this man find so many Americans who feel about this country as he does? Are the roots of all this in those who mentored Obama from Frank Marshall Davis to Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers?

Clinton Labor Secretary Warns Against July 4th ‘Americanism’

Screen Shot 2016-07-01 at 10.32.18 PM

"Former Secretary of Labor in the Clinton administration and current University of California Berkeley professor Robert Reich wants Americans to be vigilant this July 4 against “exclusive patriotism” that “asserts a unique and superior ‘Americanism.'”
“ 'We hear a lot about patriotism, especially around the Fourth of July. But in 2016, we’re hearing about two very different types of patriotism. One is an inclusive patriotism that binds us together. The other is an exclusive patriotism that keeps others out,” Reich writes.
"Reich claims that “we’re now hearing a strident, exclusive patriotism. It asserts a unique and superior ‘Americanism that’s determined to exclude others beyond our borders.' ” . . .

Obama silent over murder of 13-year-old US citizen in Israel by Palestinian terrorist

Joe Newby

Obama

"On Thursday, Reuters reported that Hallel Yaffa Ariel, a 13-year-old girl in Israel, was stabbed in her bedroom by a Palestinian terrorist.  The State Department confirmed that the girl is a U.S. citizen, but so far, President Obama has said nothing.
"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on the other hand, responded sharply, according to Haaretz:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Thursday’s terror attack in the settlement of Kiryat Arba that left a 13-year-old dead, and urged “enlightened nations” to do the same.
Calling the attack in the Kiryat Arba settlement “a horrifying murder of a young girl in her bed,” Netanyahu said it “underscores the bloodlust and inhumanity of incitement-driven terrorists that we are facing.”
"According to the report, Netanyahu called an emergency security consultation with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, revoked hundreds of permits issued to relatives of the terrorist and ordered a lockdown of his home town.
“ 'The entire world needs to condemn this murder just as it condemned the terrorist attacks in Orlando and Brussels,” Netanyahu said."
"Obama, however, remained silent.
. . .
"It’s not the first time that Obama remained silent on the murder of Americans by terrorists in Israel, as the Washington Free Beacon reported last November.
Some Democratic leaders, including those in the Obama administration, have yet to condemn a recent Palestinian terrorist attack in Israel that claimed the lives of several individuals, including an American teenager, and wounded five other Americans.
The silence by these leaders, including Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama, has drawn outrage from some in the pro-Israel community who accuse these Democrats of drawing a moral equivalency between the Jewish state and Palestinian terrorists, who have committed a series of deadly attacks in recent weeks that have killed several Israelis.

Moonbat Columnist For NY Daily News Demands Major League Baseball Stop Singing “God Bless America” Because It’s “Offensive”….

It’s time for God to stop blessing America during the seventh-inning stretch.
Welcome to the July 4 holiday weekend — when once again, baseball fans will be assaulted by the saccharine-sweet non-anthem “God Bless America” at stadia all over this great land.
But no matter which home team you root, root, root for, “God Bless America” should be sent permanently to the bench.
Now, don’t get me wrong: When Major League Baseball ordered all teams to play the patriotic jingle after 9/11, I didn’t immediately object. Standing with my fellow fans, as one, and singing a paean to our country provided catharsis, comfort and shared heartache.
But it wasn’t long before heartache became headache. The Yankees still play it at every game, but most teams, like my beloved Mets, play “God Bless America” only on Sundays or holidays. But even that’s too much.
Part of my outrage stems from ponderous Mussolini-esque introduction of the song, when fans are asked to rise, remove their caps and place them over their hearts.

Benghazi Widow Says Hillary Clinton Has ‘No Right’ to Tell Her to Move On

National Review   "This week, the Select Committee on Benghazi issued it’s final report absolving Hillary Clinton of any responsibility for the failed response to the attacks. Tyrone Woods, one of the four victims that night, left behind a wife and young son. His wife, Dorothy Woods, appeared on “Out Front With Erin Burnett” last night to deliver reaction to the report.

"After the report was issued, Clinton noted that it was “time to move on.” That didn’t sit well with Woods, who said that Clinton had “no right” to tell her it was time move on from the death of her husband. Woods noted the lies told by the Administration to save their reputation and said no one ever spoke with her on a “one-on-one level” or apologized after the attacks either." . . .

More speculations on the Clinton-Lynch meeting

Report: FBI ordered journalists not to record Clinton-Lynch meeting
. . . "For once, there is as much outrage on the left as there is on the right over this meeting. No one believes that they only talked about Clinton's golf game and grandchildren. In a normal American presidential administration, Lynch would have been fired so fast she wouldn't have time to clean out her office.
"But this is a White House that eschews accountability more than any other modern presidency. Lynch is a loyal soldier and if the blowback becomes too great, she'll resign. But expect the White House to continue pushing the grandchildren narrative about the meeting.
"From now on, any action taken by the AG and the Department of Justice in connection with anything having to do with the Clinton's will be suspect."

Quoting Hot Air:
First of all, it isn’t the FBI’s job to tell journalists or private citizens they can’t take photographs of a former president and the Attorney General. What were the agents going to do, arrest people for taking a picture or video?
Also, if there was nothing wrong with the meeting and it was totally innocent, why were federal agents instructed to demand no one take a picture?
Legal Insurrection: Cover-up worse than the crime: Loretta Lynch needs to resign  . . . "But for that sleuthing local reporter, the public never would have known about the grossly improper meeting between the husband of a woman (Hillary) under FBI investigation and as to whom Lynch has the ultimate power to prosecute or not.
"As Larry O’Connor at Hot Air points out, it’s even worse than that because Bill Clinton himself and the conduct of the Clinton Foundation are under investigation. So Lynch not only met with the husband of someone under investigation, she met with someone whose foundation is under investigation."

EXCLUSIVE: Was Bill Clinton Plea Bargaining With The Attorney General?  "Former U.S. Attorney Joseph DiGenova told the Daily Caller News Foundation the former President “is at least a witness in two criminal investigations, probably a subject in two criminal investigations. He is a person of interest officially to the Department of Justice,” he said flatly." Hat tip to Lucianne

People, we are not in good hands. Cartoon update

Patricia McCarthy  "After the horrific terrorist attack in Istanbul, is there a sentient American remaining who thinks President Obama cares a whit about this global nightmare?  Clearly he does not.

"When Obama does respond, generally days after the fact, he is relaxed, calm, and wholly unruffled.  These attacks do not bother him!  He thinks they are "incidents" that we can "absorb," acceptable collateral damage for a country that has so offended the Third World.  The dead and injured are out of his sight, out of mind.
"There is something very wrong with this man.  He referenced the attack for a few moments yesterday from his summit in Ottawa, but it was climate change and monarch butterflies that energized him, not the loss of life and limb in Turkey.
"It is time for Americans to come to grips with the fact that we twice elected a man who lacks even the most basic gene for empathy – the kind of empathy most of us feel for an injured animal not our own.  He does not have normal emotional responses.  He does exhibit anger, but it is entirely reserved for his critics, for those who question his brilliance, his judgment, not for the vermin who have been slaughtering innocents across the Middle East and Africa and now Europe and America." . . .  Emphasis added, TD

Cafe told to remove 'God Bless America' banner

. . . "You would think most folks would appreciate the sentiment behind “God Bless America.” Lord knows we need it.
"But rules are rules and the town board does not seem interested in accommodating Jennifer’s patriotic banner.
“ 'The fact that I’m being asked to take it down is wrong,” she said. “It’s against my First Amendment rights. People need to open up their eyes. If we start letting them tell us we can’t do this – it’s going to get worse.”
"Lots of folks seem to agree with Jennifer’s sentiment. Hundreds and hundreds of supporters have posted messages on the café’s Facebook page and several customers have dropped off money – to help pay for any fines.
"Jennifer tells me she never imagined there would be a day like this in America.
“ 'I have lots of veterans in my family,” she said. “I have a cousin who fought in Desert Storm so that we could have the freedom to hang a banner that says, ‘God bless America.’” "
"And yet we live in a nation where you can be punished for simply being patriotic."
I like these people, but there is something about obedience to governing authorities. The Scriptures tell us it as better to be punished for doing right than doing wrong. (1 Peter 2:20). TD

A Suspicious Meeting in Phoenix Probably Means FBI Charges against Clinton

. . . "Either that or she and Bill just bumped into each other thousands of miles from Washington and New York and interrupted their busy schedules [to]chat about his grandkids." . . .
Political Cartoons by Ken Catalino

Jonathan F. Keiler  "On Tuesday Attorney General Loretta Lynch met former President Bill Clinton at a Phoenix airport where they held a discussion that lasted at least thirty minutes. Lynch’s explanation for her meeting with Clinton was that it was entirely coincidental and they mainly discussed his two infant grandchildren. This is unconvincing if not preposterous. When Loretta Lynch opens her mouth to speak on a public policy issue, she, like her boss the president, is not likely to be telling the truth. So we can pretty confidently presume that something else topped the agenda, to wit: a forthcoming referral of criminal charges against Bill’s wife in the ongoing email scandal."
. . .
"It is impossible to believe that an honest FBI investigation would not at a minimum find Hillary criminally responsible for violating statutes governing retention of official records and maintaining and securing classified material, at least based on gross negligence, but now with convincing evidence that her deliberate course of conduct demonstrates clear criminal intent. Hillary’s blatant lies and obfuscations through the course of the various investigations, along with the erasure of the server’s memory also present a clear case of obstruction of justice. It is hard to square Pagliano’s repeated invocation of the 5th Amendment with anything but that." . . .

Anti-Brexit and anti-Trump people are living in another world

Brexit, Trump, and immigration   . . . "American Republican leaders are also "hopelessly unrepresentative" of their grassroots rank and file, demonstrated by the obtuse response to Donald Trump, their own party's candidate.  But the GOP appears not to care if the ruinous socialist solutions of the past nearly eight years will continue under Hillary Clinton.

"Some Republican leaders would rather scheme against the winner of the party's primaries, which has even political amateurs scratching their heads in dumbfounded disbelief.  The anti-Trump clique is allegedly led by the defeated traditional head of the party  in this case, the wooden Mitt Romney, who lost in 2012, causing the curse of Obama's second term." . . .

Brexit: Sovereign Kingdom or little England?

Charles Krauthammer

"Given their arrogance, pomposity and habitual absurdities, it is hard not to feel a certain satisfaction with the comeuppance that Brexit has delivered to the unaccountable European Union bureaucrats in Brussels.
"Nonetheless, we would do well to refrain from smug condescension. Unity is not easy. What began in 1951 as a six-member European Coal and Steel Community was grounded in a larger conception of a united Europe born from the ashes of World War II. Seven decades into the postwar era, Britain wants out and the E.U. is facing an existential crisis.
"Yet where were we Americans seven decades into our great experiment in continental confederation, our “more perfect union” contracted under the Constitution of 1787? At Fort Sumter.
"The failure of our federal idea gave us civil war and 600,000 dead. And we had the advantage of a common language, common heritage and common memory of heroic revolutionary struggle against a common (British) foe. Europe had none of this. " . . .

The Babies Who Survived the Holocaust

Legal Insurrection  “When the Americans who liberated Dachau found the women with their babies, they cried.”

mothers-with-babies-at-dachau

"Through the course of my daily intercepting, I happened across a post that discussed the babies born in Dachau. Naturally, I had to check this out further. Their stories are amazing.

"First, the story of the babies pictured in the featured image:
In this image is 5 of 7 women (shortly after their liberation in Dachau) who were pregnant and had given birth, all during the Holocaust. Each woman is a miracle. Miriam Rosenthal (not pictured) survived Auschwitz before her arrival. Eva Fleischmanova (middle) survived two inspections by Josef Mengele.
One by one, they were brought to Dachau and, for some reason (perhaps in the hope of being used as barter with the now-winning Allies) put together into a basement. Thanks to the help of their fellow inmates, and their helping each other, they managed to survive until their release. Throughout the experience, one baby after another was born, brought into the world by an inmate who was trained as gynecologist, and whose only tool was a bucket of hot water.
When the Americans who liberated Dachau found the women with their babies, they cried. Surrounded by a death the soldiers could hardly imagine, they had found a spark of unimaginable hope.
"The BBC created a short documentary about Eva Clarke and Anka Bergman, two of the babies that survived the Nazi death camps. This is the first part:" . . .

Victor Davis Hanson   . . . "The scandals of the Clinton Foundation, Bill Clinton’s various get-rich and jet-set escapades, and much of Hillary Clinton’s paranoia over the audit of her e-mail communications all revolve around a Clinton circle that can never be squared even by liberal pieties: The wealthy do not make politicians fabulously rich — unless they assume that they will receive something of much greater value in return. The Clintons are unique — like no other first couple in recent American history. Not the Carters, not the Reagans, not the two Bush couples, not any first family emeritus has so unapologetically charged banks, foreign governments, corporations, and universities so much money for overtly so little, but on the expectation of clandestinely offering so much.
