CNN Edits Out Milwaukee Police Shooting Victim’s Sister Calling For Violence

Daily Caller  "In a report about the rioting in Milwaukee airing on CNN, the network selectively edited the footage of the sister of an armed man shot by police to make it seem like she simply called for peace, when in-fact she also called for violence."

FBI sends heavily redacted Clinton interview documents to Congress

Catherine Herridge, Pamela K. Browne  . . . "Separately, the Republican chairman of the House Government Oversight Committee, confirmed that even he does not have a high enough security clearance to read the documents in full.

“ 'As the chairman of the chief investigative body in the House, it is significant I can’t even read these documents in their entirety,” Rep. Jason Chaffetz of Utah told Fox News. “This shows how dangerous it was to have this intelligence, highly classified to this day, on the former secretary’s unsecured personal server where it was vulnerable.”

"The fact that portions of the FBI investigative file are heavily redacted and must be held and read by lawmakers in a secure facility on Capitol Hill shows how classified the material remains, despite claims made by the Clinton campaign." . . .

The Godmother's foundation

Clinton Foundation Investigation Could Spell Hillary's Doom
. . . "All of this supports the central contention of Peter Schweizer's 2015 book, "Clinton Cash," that detailed how the Clinton's used Hillary's position at State to trade massive donations to the Foundation for favors from the Obama administration. As Schweizer put it, "they have monetized public service in a massive way."
"We also learned Friday that the Clintons made $1 million in donations to their own foundation, which effectively amounts to recirculating the money back to themselves and their friends while taking a massive tax deduction."
Clinton Foundation should stop accepting funds   . . . "That was bad enough at State; if the Clinton Foundation continues to cash checks from foreign governments and other individuals seeking to ingratiate themselves with a President Hillary Clinton, it would be unacceptable.". . .

Another look at the character of Clinton  . . . "Clinton, the supposed champion of women, is no such champion.  As with all things Clinton, it is a lie.  From her personal life as Bill’s enabler to her work as a defense attorney when she laughed about getting a pedophile off the hook while assassinating the character of the 12-year-old victim to her plan to import record numbers of Muslims to America that will certainly be no boon to American women, or anyone else, for that matter, to her presence on the world stage, where she has ties to countries that oppress women in unthinkable ways (herehere, herehereherehereherehere, and here), she is a disaster of the first magnitude." . . .

The reason that liberals hate Christianity, but ignore Islam

Bookworm Room  "One of the things that’s frustrating for non-liberals and non-Progressives is Leftists’ refusal to look Islam in the face (so to speak).  Yes, there are crazy people who are Christians and there are entire Christian sects that are crazy (such as the Westboro Baptists or Warren Jeffs’ polygamist Mormon cult).  The fact remains, however, that Christians as a whole, whether they belong to big churches or small ones, do not embrace or practice terrorism to achieve their political or religious goals.
"Muslims, by contrast, routinely practice terrorism to achieve goals that are simultaneously religious and political, owing to Islam’s fusion of God and state. " . . .

. . . "The Obama government sure knows how to pick ‘em. Right now, the Pentagon is concerned about religious intolerance in the American military. When people who are neither Leftists nor career politicians in thrall to the White House think of intolerance in the military, they think of Major Nidal Malik Hasan who went on an“Allahu Akbar” shooting spree at Fort Hood, killing 13 people and injuring more than thirty. The Pentagon, though, isn’t fooled by these false trails. It knows who the really intolerant people in the military are: Christians.
"To that end, the military has brought in Michael Weinstein, Esq., a “religious tolerance” specialist and the man who founded the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (“MRFF”). Michael knows all about tolerance. Or at least, he knows all about tolerance in the Obama era." . . .

"Anti-Israel internet feared loss to Israeli would humiliate Islam, but now cheer his refusal to shake hands"

. . .
"Before the match, Muslims littered the internet with demands for him to boycott the match:
“You will shame Islam,” wrote one angry follower. “If you lose, you will shame an entire nation and yourself. We don’t want to think what will happen if you lost to an Israeli. Victory will give you nothing. How can you cooperate with a murderous nation?”
"However, attitudes changed with Muslims and anti-Israelis on social media because they cheered when Shehaby refused to shake Sasson’s hand."

No Call By Obama for Peace After Milwaukee Anti-Police Riot; Press Fails to Question Golfing Obama About Riot  "The vacationing President Barack Obama has issued no statement on the riot in Milwaukee Saturday night over the fatal police shooting of an armed Black criminal–not even a call for peace while the shooting is investigated." . . .
"Instead, Obama went golfing Sunday on Martha’s Vineyard where he is taking his annual two-week summer vacation. The traveling White House issued a statement that Obama had been briefed on the riot by senior adviser Valerie Jarrett who was in contact with officials in Milwaukee on behalf of the president–but no statement calling for peace was included in the White House announcement."

The state of race in Obama's America
Personally, I’m failing to see how anything has improved with all these “open dialogues” and “national discussions” about race; I’m failing to see anything positive coming out of movements like “Black Lives Matter.”  Instead, all we seem to accomplish is more division, more negative feelings (i.e. hate, people suddenly feeling unsafe), and more justification for more of the same.

More on the Milwaukee Riots  . . . "6) Even before this incident, the Obama Department of Justice was already investigating the Milwaukee police department, just as it investigated the Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, Maryland departments, among others. The results of that investigation are 100% predictable, given DOJ’s agenda."
Update:  Four Milwaukee police officers were injured during the rioting. Each was hospitalized but has been released. The worst injury was to a female police officer. She was hit by a piece of concrete, suffering a concussion and lacerations that required seven stitches.
It could have been worse for her, and presumably those who hurled concrete at police wanted it to be.

Nets Ignore Obama Justice Dept. Killing Clinton Foundation Investigation

Political Cartoons by Bob Gorrell
Kyle Drennen  "Despite serious legal and ethical questions being raised about the Clinton Foundation having high-level access to Hillary Clinton’s State Department while accepting large foreign donations, a CNN report on Thursday revealed that the Obama Justice Department squashed an FBI investigation into the matter. So far, the broadcast networks have censored any mention of the growing scandal.
" . . .At the time, three field offices were in agreement an investigation should be launched after the FBI received notification from a bank of suspicious activity from a foreigner who had donated to the Clinton Foundation..." .  .  .

Perhaps this is why:
IBD: Clinton Foundation Investigation Could Spell Hillary's Doom
A report that the FBI is investigating the Clinton Foundation could spell serious trouble for Hillary Clinton. (AP)

"The Daily Caller reports that the FBI now has multiple investigations underway into the nefarious dealings of the Bill and Hillary's favor bank, also known as the Clinton Foundation. If true, this investigation could succeed where others have been stonewalled or blocked by the Clinton machine.
"Is Hillary Clinton going to be held to account for her corrupt dealings between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation? That question just became highly relevant again.
"According to the Daily Caller, this investigation — unlike the politically neutered FBI probe into Clinton's reckless use of a private email server while Secretary of State — is being headed by Preet Bharara, a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. Bharara, the story notes, has a well-deserved reputation as a nonpartisan who fearlessly takes on powerful political interests.
"If this is true, and the report is admittedly based on the word of an unnamed source, it could spell big trouble for Hillary." . . .

Progressives, Feminists Up Attacks On Juanita Broaddrick...

Buzzfeed via Drudge
"Broaddrick has repeatedly said that she’s not politically motivated. She insists she has no plans to join Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign and says she’s only voting for him because she doesn’t want the man she claims raped her — and the woman she believes enabled him — back in the White House. She voted for Barack Obama in 2008 for the same reason, she said."
"Juanita Broaddrick joined Twitter in 2009. The 73-year-old retired nursing home operator from Van Buren, Arkansas, tweeted a few times about the weather, Weight Watchers, and drinking coffee on her porch, then abandoned the service until fall 2015, when Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton made a series of statements that enraged her.
"In September, Clinton tweeted that every sexual assault survivor had “the right to be believed.” In November, she reiterated that “every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported.” The following month, she was asked at a campaign event whether the handful of women who’ve accused her husband, former President Bill Clinton, of sexual harassment and assault — Juanita Broaddrick included — deserved to be “believed” as well." . . .

The riots in Watts, er..Baltimore, Ferguson... oh, Milwaukee, yeah, Milwaukee this time

"In one of the videos below, you can hear one loon explain that rich people aren’t giving them money so they burn their own neighborhoods."
Black Lives Matter Begins Urban Renewal in Milwaukee
The city was burned and businesses looted over this guy:

We await Hillary, Obama and Democrats' remarks on this.
"And, of course, as anyone who follows the data knows, the assertions made by leftists from Barack Obama to the Justice Department on down that police harass or over-police blacks always — always — fail to take into account the massive difference in the crime rates between black and white communities."
. . . "When it comes to the problems of black Americans, the left outdoes itself in the art of deception. Virtually every assertion of the violent Black Lives Matter hate movement is a falsehood. Even the name of this vicious collection of groups is offensive. When challenged by those who respond with "All Lives Matter," the BLM people thug-splain that what they really meant was "Black Lives Matter too." But this assumes that white people don't know this, that blacks in this country are treated as if their lives matter less than others.
"The facts tell a different story. In about 85% of crimes involving whites and blacks, blacks were the attackers, whites the victims. Racial hatred of whites is at least — at least — as virulent among blacks as racial hatred of whites is among blacks. Assertions that black people can't be racist are just more lies." . . .  Andrew Klavan.

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke requests mobilization of National Guard  "Protesters burned several stores, including the BP gas station at Sherman and Burleigh, Jet Beauty at 35th and Fond du Lac, BMO Harris Bank at 36th and Fond du Lac, O’Reilly Auto Parts at Fond du Lac and Burleigh and MJM Liquor at Fond du Lac and North — and threw rocks at police on the city’s north side, leaving one officer injured and three protesters arrested. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett said protesters had been using social media to draw more demonstrators."

Why Kenny Baker Quit Jack Benny

Image result for kenny baker jack benny photosTralfaz  "On June 18, 1939, singer Kenny Baker appeared on ‘The Jack Benny Program’ and to all the world it sounded like he would be with the rest of the cast the following week broadcasting from Waukegan, Illinois. He never made it. He was never part of Benny cast again (though he later made two guest appearances).

"So what happened?

"Benny fans have debated for years whether Baker was fired, whether he quit, whether he left on good terms or bad.

"It took Baker more than five years before he talked about it. And, even then, it seems pieces of the story are missing. Here’s a syndicated news article from 1944, at a time he was on Broadway and had shot a couple of films, including ‘Silver Skates.’ " . . .   Died 1985 in Solvang, CA

Officer-Involved Shooting In Milwaukee, Violent Rioters Then Attack Cops, Police Cars, Journalists, Set Fires, Chant “Black Power!”

Weasel Zippers

Screen Shot 2016-08-13 at 10.50.03 PM

A standoff between police and an angry crowd turned violent Saturday night in the hours after a Milwaukee police officer shot and killed an armed suspect during a foot chase on the city’s north side.
More than 100 people gathered near the scene at N. 44th St. and W. Auer Ave. and at times pushed against a line of 20 to 30 officers, some of whom were in riot gear.
At one point, the officers got in their cars to leave and some in the crowd started smashing the windows and side of a squad car that appeared to be demolished. Another vehicle was set on fire. As officers returned to the scene, this time many more in riot gear, three or four gunshots could be heard about 8:45 p.m.
Soon thereafter, the crowd turned on and attacked reporters and a photographer from the Journal Sentinel. One reporter was shoved to the ground and punched.
The violence erupted not long after a woman who identified herself as family member of the dead man implored the people to leave the scene.

Political correctness and the decline of science

Jazz Shaw at Hot Air  "Here’s quick pop quiz for you… which US political party is “The Party of Science” today? I’d be willing to bet that nearly everyone had an answer at the ready and half of you disagreed with the other half. (Assuming a readership which matches the generic national political profile.) Rather than the usual finger pointing, perhaps this is an opportunity to ask ourselves if politics is simply ruining science. And if so, that’s a disastrous shame because we used to be really good at science in the United States.
"Alex Berezow at the American Council on Science and Health has a great essay for your Friday reading on precisely this subject. Rather then getting bogged down on who is right and who is wrong on political debate stages – particularly on climate change – he focuses on how much we may be poisoning the well of learning through political maneuvering.". . .

Rick Moran: More climate change decrees coming  "President Obama's carbon emission regulations are still in court and will be for several years. But that hasn't stopped the president from getting ready to propose new regulations to combat his notion of "climate change" - even if some of them apparently have little to do with global warming."
