49ers Coach Kelly fired, well deserved

Lloyd Marcus  "In Texas, Officer Stephen Magnes, saved by his bulletproof vest, is the first policeman ambushed in 2017.  In Oklahoma, a policeman is in critical condition, shot with his back turned during a traffic stop.  In 2016, 64 officers were shot and killed. Twenty-one were ambushed, the highest total in over two decades.

"The racist hate group Black Lives Matter and its political and media supporters are complicit in painting bulls-eyes on the backs of America's brave men and women in blue.  Insidiously, they created and nurtured the lie that police are racists who murder blacks.  Ninety-three percent of black homicide victims arekilled by other blacks.
"Ironically, the left's War on Cops has caused black-on-black violence toskyrocket because police are afraid to do their job, fearful of lies and negative political and media spin.
"Black role model 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick protested the U.S. in support of Black Lives Matter.  Kaepernick's promotion of the lie that police murder blacks trickled all the way down to black youths in high school, instilling disdain for police and America.
"When Kaepernick first dissed our country, taking a knee during the National Anthem, I thought: Where is the 49ers coach?
"Doesn't coach Kelly have authority to say: Keep your political protest off the field; you're hired to play football?
"San Francisco 49ers coach Chip Kelly shamefully ran to microphones supporting Kaepernick and furthered the lie that cops murder blacks.  This is a powerful reflection of Mr. Kelly's lack of wisdom and leadership.
"Yes, I experienced schadenfreude over Kaepernick's and the 49ers' disastrous 2-14 2016 season.  While I do not wish Mr. Kelly any ill will, his firing is well deserved."
Well, this is, after all, San Francisco

The Lame Duck Restraint Act

patriotupdate

American Thinker  "The American presidency has historically been accorded a unique place in national and international politics.  The office combines the head of state with the head of government, which no other major nation has done.  Moreover, we have retained the "Lame Duck" period between national elections, again something that no other major nation has done.  Finally, Congress has granted (I would argue beyond its power to grant) effective quasi-legislative powers to the president through a variety of means.
"Americans today see, in the hands of an infantile and dumb man like Barack Obama, just how dangerous that can be.  His recent designation of various areas as protected from exploration for energy and other mineral wealth after his party lost all power in Washington is evidence of the need for immediate change.
"While it would be best to simply remove all quasi-legislative power from all federal independent regulatory agencies, all executive agencies, and the president and to require, instead, that actions with the force of law be made only by Congress and no one else, that may not be possible until the political power of constitutionalism is stronger." . . .

The Obama mouse that roared

Arutz Sheva
To understand what motivates Obama we must understand his deep and powerful animus against the incoming Trump administration.
"Obama has been perceived for the better part of the past 8 years by many of the world’s leadership as a spineless and weak leader, never feeling comfortable or really knowing how to implement the art of statesmanship. Obama caved in to Putin, the leader of Russia, caved into Assad, the embattled leader of Syria.

"China, Iran, North Korea, Libya, have all exhibited nothing but contempt for Obama who always backed down, stood down, and generally did nothing more than wag his Presidential tail.

"And then there was Israel.

"The objective of the recent Obama-concocted Security Council resolution against the State of Israel is nothing less than a betrayal of the US- Israel alliance and a message to Trump. The Security Council adopted a resolution that brands the Jewish presence in any part of Judea and Samaria ('West Bank') or in parts of Jerusalem as illegal will also make the eight hundred thousand Jews in these areas international outlaws. " . . .

Petulant, vindictive Obama droppings on the American carpet.

Tag Oval Office
Obama Will Never Leave You Alone  "When George W. Bush finished his second term, he quietly exited the national stage and allowed the age of Obama to begin without interference. Obama has no intention of affording his successor the same courtesy.

"He is a different man than Bush. He loves the spotlight too much to leave. He also knows that the press loves him more than Trump and will run to him for comment on everything Trump does.
If you thought you were rid of Obama, guess again.

"The Washington Examiner reports:" . . .

Obama unleashes 3,853 regs, 18 for every law, record 97,110 pages of red tape  "President Obama's lame duck administration poured on thousands more new regulations in 2016 at a rate of 18 for every new law passed, according to a Friday analysis of his team's expansion of federal authority.
"While Congress passed just 211 laws, Obama's team issued an accompanying 3,852 new federal regulations, some costing billions of dollars." . . .

Midnight meltdown as tipsy Trump-hater Don Lemon has mic cut off by CNN

Thomas Lifson  "CNN anchor Don Lemon has copped the honor of the first on-air Trump-hater meltdown of 2017, year one of the Trump presidency. Sour Lemon’s behavior was so disgraceful and out of place during a celebration of the New Year that the network brass cut his audio feed just after midnight when he began speak of “awful” 2016. But by then he already had been drinking on-air (quaffing tequila with co-host Brooke Baldwin), and had his ear pierced before viewers’ eyes.

"To be fair, Lemon has reason to dread 4 years of Trump:

. . .  "An embedded video is below of the travesty on the broadcast feed of a purported news network. Their decision on what to do about newsman Lemon’s unprofessionalism will tell us a lot about CNN's own professional standards.  As they are Trump-haters in a hole, I advise them to keep digging and pretend that nothing has happened."

Obama: A Political Corpse

Mother: “I can’t understand why your father doesn’t call.”
Me: “Mother, you know he’s been dead for eleven years.”
Mother: “Yes, I know that, but I still don’t understand why he hasn’t called.”
Me: “Dead men can’t call.”
(Brief pause)
Mother: “He could call collect.”

Clarice Feldman  "Obama’s political death -- the Russians have tagged him “a political corpse” -- is spurring him and his administration to deny it by undertaking a series of ever more outrageous acts to preserve what he considers his "legacy." Michael Walsh summed up Obama’s week: “Stab Israel, provoke Russia, grab land -- even the nuttiest Leftist has to admit Obama is out of control.”
"Obama hopes his party’s diminished power over his two terms will be without effect. President-Elect Trump and those who support him see it differently -- the corpse is spewing toxic pathogens, which will not survive a thorough cleansing.
"As a culmination of his eight years in office in which he was unsuccessful in persuading Israel to commit suicide by caving in to further Palestinian demands to give up yet more land for no peace or even a recognition of its right to exist, he manipulated a UN resolution which would have the same effect.
"Secretary of state Kerry followed up with an attempted justification of the betrayal of Israel in the UN. The speech was so outrageous that Britain and Australia rebuked it.  I Indeed, it was so bad that it resulted in a rare show of bipartisanship as leaders of both parties were critical of it:
"In his remarks, he may finally have done what eight years of Obama’s anti-Israel acts have failed to do -- made clear the anti-Semitic basis of this animus, thereby  weaning  more Jews from the Democratic Party." . . .

Kebab Riots in Poland

Baron Bodissey  "Last night, in the Polish town of EÅ‚k, a young Pole made the mistake of throwing a firecracker in the vicinity of a culture-enriching restaurant known as “Prince Kebab”. The proprietors of the restaurant emerged from the premises, kebab knives in hand, and proceeded to stab the Polish malefactor to death.

"Poland is not (yet) in thrall to the Great God of Multiculturalism to the extent that Germany and other Western European countries are, so local citizens gathered outside the restaurant in an angry crowd today. In the following videos you can see a memorial of lit candles in front of Prince Kebab — I didn’t notice any teddy bears or flowers — but you’ll also see some of the protesters break the windows and do other damage to the restaurant.

"If such a crowd had assembled and acted out in Germany, the Netherlands, Britain, or Sweden, the police would have been on them in a flash. Within two minutes the Boys in Blue would have been among them, nightsticks a-swingin’. In short order the holding cells at the local police station would have been full of bruised and morose Poles.

"But that didn’t happen in EÅ‚k until several hours later. The following news report aired this evening on Polish TV. " . . .

The second and third videos require no subtitling. In each of them — recorded during daylight hours today — you can watch the same events from a different angle, as the plate glass windows are shattered while the crowd cheers:

Former Chicago top cop: Black Lives Matter killing blacks

Washington Examiner

"Former Chicago Superintendent of Police Garry McCarthy said Sunday that the Black Lives Matter movement was ultimately responsible for rising crimes rates in his city and nationally because it was making it harder for police to do their jobs.
"McCarthy said that the movement was responsible for a rise in "noncompliance" — people refusing to cooperate or surrender to police.
" 'What is happening is — and this is ironic — that a movement with the goal of saving black lives is at this point is getting black lives taken because 80 percent of our murder victims here in Chicago are male blacks," McCarthy told New York radio talk show host John Catsimatidis." . . .

A Theology of the Electoral College

Just Thinking…for Myself  "Applying biblical truth to social, political, and theological issues in our world."

Image result for Founding Fathers Electoral College
. . . "Please understand that in stating the aforementioned, I am in no way inferring or implying that the United States Constitution is a theological document in and of itself.
"I am not saying that at all.
"What I am saying, however, is that the protections that are inherent within it are clearly and unarguably rooted and grounded in the doctrine of the sinfulness of human beings.
"The Electoral College is but one example of this.
“Every soul has its nature in Adam until it is born again in Christ. The unregenerate soul is unclean and sinful both in condition and in action.” – R. Stanton Norman, from A Theology for the Church, edited by Daniel L. Akin, chapter 8, Human Sinfulness, p. 434
"Regardless if the Founders were deists, theists, agnostics, or even atheists, they clearly had an appreciation (if not an affinity) for the fact that human beings are innately sinful and, as such, are susceptible to the temptations and seductions that invariably accompany positions of power and influence.
"So, it is in that sense that I am most thankful to God for the wisdom bestowed upon the Founding Fathers in giving our nation both the Constitution and, conversely, the Electoral College, as safeguards that exist for the purpose of protecting us from ourselves."
“ 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23 (NASB)"

Beyonce Fans Wish Death on ‘White Anchor’ Tomi Lahren After Falling for Fake Tweet

RACE-HATE IN THE OBAMA ERA: Beyonce Fans Wish Death on ‘White Anchor’ Tomi Lahren After Falling for Fake Tweet.

Heat Street  "Beyonce fans have been angry with The Blaze‘s Tomi Lahren ever since she dared to criticize the Queen Bey herself, back in February.

"That was when the outspoken conservative personality drew weeks of social media ire from “the Beyhive” — or Beyonce’s rabid fans — after arguing that Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime performance was an homage to the Black Panthers and a crass attempt to commodify the Black Lives Matter movement.
"And now the attacks have begun anew. Wednesday night, the “Beyhive,” got taken in by a fake Tweet that appeared to show Tomi throwing shade on Beyonce’s artificial hair extensions.

Not only is the "tolerant left" wishing for Tomi's death, but they fell for a fake tweet & started tweeting . Fake news?

Then lefties, fooled into thinking that Lahren had actually passed away, piled on the hashtag to ghoulishly celebrate the faux demise of the 24 year old University of Nevada-Las Vegas graduate.

Bureaucratic Bloat Is Eating Away at the American Education System

The American Interest  . . . "Rothwell offers some grim statistics on “the declining productivity of education,” focusing specifically on one source of the decay: bureaucratic bloat, or the steadily increasing share of education expenditures that flow to managers and administrators.
For higher education, a major factor driving up costs has been a growth in the number of highly-paid non-teaching professionals. In 1988, for every 100 full-time equivalent students, there were on average 23 college employees. By 2012, that number had increased to 31 employees, with a shift toward the highest paying non-teaching occupations. Managers and professionals now outnumber faculty, who comprise just a third of the higher education workforce. […]
In primary and secondary public education, where price increases have been less dramatic, there has been a decline in bureaucratic efficiency. The number of students for every district-level administrator fell from 519 in 1980 to 365 in 2012. Principals and assistant principals managed 382 students in 1980 but only 294 in 2012.
