AOC's Shameless Shot at DeSantis About the Bible Shows What a Hypocrite She Is

  RedState

"I think it’s ghoulish how Democrats have responded in the case of the death of Jordan Neely.

"It’s a pretty sad case of a man who didn’t get the help he needed while he was alive, but who had a history of violent behavior toward other people. Marine Daniel Penny stepped in, along with other people, to help restrain Neely after they believed Neely was threatening people. Neely later died, and Penny has been charged with manslaughter in his death, despite witnesses calling him a “hero” for helping to protect people. My colleague Sister Toldjah wrote about Al Sharpton’s disgraceful display at the funeral for Neely.

"Yet Democrats have ignored Neely’s violent background, along with what the witnesses and Penny have said, and acted as though this was just a guy who liked to imitate Michael Jackson whom Penny just wanted to kill. That’s shameful, and not an honest depiction of the facts. But it fits the narrative of what they want to push, so they don’t care if Penny gets destroyed in the process.

"However, let’s not leave out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) who was also there at the funeral. You would have thought that AOC was going to a celebrity event, the way that she was smiling and taking selfies with fans from her big, gas-guzzling vehicle that she was in. She also took a lame shot at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, when asked about him calling Penny a “Good Samaritan.' ” . . .

So, had AOC been on that train near Neely and was one of those delivered from him by Penny how would she have reacted? Contemptible child that she is, she would have dodged the answer like any politician.

The quality of people who become chosen to guide our nation

The Slammer

51 People Who Should Never Have Clearances Again - American Thinker   . . ."The 51 Intelligence Community professionals who signed a letter claiming the Hunter Biden laptop showed “signs of Russian disinformation” should have their clearances immediately revoked and their access to classified information severed and never again restored. Their blatant disregard for the proper process through which an intelligence investigation is conducted, as well as for national security matters in general, is ground to terminate their clearances immediately.". . .

"The GOP House has started investigating the 50 signatories to the letter about Hunter Biden’s laptop. While I’m hopeful some may be reprimanded, it’s more likely that none will lose their clearances. That’s a shame. A message must be sent to the members of their intelligence community that their job is to serve the people of the United States, all of them, not just the ones they support politically. If I could do my job under Obama, these disgusting political hacks should have known how to do their job under someone with whom they disagreed. This is true, too, for all current and future members of the intelligence community." . . .

They still love America

They still love America - American Thinker   "Today is day 871 of captivity for the January 6 hostages whom the Democrat party is holding in a Washington D.C. gulag.

"Eight hundred seventy-one days of operations in America's first political concentration camp for dissidents, opened and operated by the Democrat party, for the express purpose of intimidation and re-education of the opposition.

"And through all the mistreatment of the hostages by the government that cheated its way into power, those hostages still love their country.  Because on every one of those 871 days, they sing the National Anthem.

"They still love the United States, even though the United States government has given each and every one of them at least 871 reasons to hate their country.

"They still love America, even though America has abandoned and forgotten them.". . .

Sung on a jailhouse phone, it still topped Miley Cyrus. TD

"A song by a group of men convicted for the Jan 6., 2021 attack at the Capitol, featuring former President Trump, reached the top spot on the iTunes music charts over the weekend.

"On Saturday, the J6 Prison Choir single “Justice for All,” outperformed pop star Miley Cryus’ single “Flowers.”

"The song includes the choir of inmates singing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” as Trump can be heard reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in portions of the 2-minute track.  The song ends with the choir repeatedly chanting “USA!”

"Trump recorded his part at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, while the choir recorded their parts of the song using a jailhouse phone, according to Variety.". . .

The money raised off the single will be directed towards the families of the defendants, Forbes reported.

"Even after grabbing the top spot on the iTunes chart, “Justice for All” failed to appear on the music streaming platform Spotify’s list of the top 50 most streamed songs of the day on Saturday afternoon.". . .

Joe Biden, the Habitual Racialist Demagogue

 Victor Davis Hanson; RealClearPolitics

In response, Biden does what he has always done for some 40 years: mouth wild racist demagoguery.

The most recent liberal ABC News/Washington Post poll showed President Joe Biden's approval rating at 36 percent - the lowest in history for a president at this point in his first term.

Biden's low popularity is no mystery. He inherited energy independence, affordable gas prices, historically low interest rates, low inflation, calm overseas, a low crime rate, and a largely closed border with legal-only immigration.

"And then Biden destroyed that inheritance.

"He has begged illiberal foreign governments to pump oil he refuses to drill domestically for.

He spiked inflation at the highest rate in over 40 years.

"Home interest rates have skyrocketed from less than 3% to 7%.

"He nearly doubled the price of gasoline.". . .

President of the US: good work if you can get it

House Republicans release probe into Biden family finances - BBC News   "House Republicans have unveiled what they say are records of $10m (£8m) in payments to members of the Biden family from foreign entities.

"Oversight Committee Chair James Comer said Joe Biden's relatives had used the family name to enrich themselves, and the president was "involved".

"The report itself does not substantiate these claims or implicate Mr Biden. It does not allege illegal conduct.

"The White House called the findings "baseless innuendo".

"The roughly 30-page report detailed what lawmakers say are various companies and financial records tied to family members of Mr Biden, including his son, Hunter Biden, and daughter-in-law, Hallie Biden.". . .

Republican-led House panel to focus on Biden family business - BBC News   "We have evidence - that we've been transparent with and will continue to be transparent with - where this family has taken in millions and millions of dollars from our adversaries, mainly in China," the Kentucky Republican said in a speech to the National Press Club in Washington DC. "I think we need to determine what was that money for. Who supplied that money?"

"he president and his family have denied any wrongdoing in overseas business dealings. Donald Trump's children have also been accused of conflicts of interest in lucrative business deals overseas.

"Mr Comer said on Monday that the Trump administration had a problem with influence-peddling, mentioning Mr Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, specifically. Mr Kushner has also denied any wrongdoing." . . .

Four Republican senators just showed true colors...

RedState

 - Revolver News   "One of the biggest and most perilous challenges the right faces isn’t the communist left. Rather, it lies within our own ranks — the treacherous RINOs. These traitors are the greatest obstacle in the war against the left. They are either inherently weak and cowardly, suffer from an extreme case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, or are globalists at heart. It could even be a combination of all three. The point is this — if we don’t get rid of these disloyal RINOs, we will never win. They stand as human barricades obstructing our path to victory.

"And on that note, we have four GOP senators who just showed their true colors. Jealous and fearful of Trump’s popularity and power, the quartet of  traitors are attacking Trump’s triumphant CNN town hall and his America First agenda.

"One of the worst offenders is a warmonger senator out of Indiana who you’ve probably never heard of named Todd Young. Mr. Young rode Trump’s 2016 coattails to a stunning upset victory and is now refusing to support him or his world peace/working-class agenda in 2024.

"Young, who blames President Trump for January 6th even though he voted to acquit him during the second sham impeachment trial, took issue with Trump’s comments on the Ukraine war during the CNN town hall. Trump stated that he wants the war to end. Trump said he thinks that Russian President Vladimir Putin “made a mistake” by invading Ukraine, but he stopped short of calling Putin a war criminal. It’s fair to note that President Trump didn’t call George Bush a war criminal, either.

"Suddenly Young, who rode the first and second Trump wave to victory, now claims he will support “anybody” but Trump. Based on that comment, it sounds as if Senator Young will be voting for Joe Biden. How will the good people of Indiana feel about that?". . .

Lots of things are on people’s minds — government corruption, gender, race, leftism, etc. — but immigration (i.e., the invasion) topped the list.

Bookworm Beat 5/18/23: The open border illustrated edition - Bookworm Room

Democrats suddenly realize open borders are a disaster (nypost.com)   "Republican border-state governors are sending busloads of illegal entrants — released in their states by the Department of Homeland Security — to DC and New York City, prompting recriminations and pleas for federal cash from the Democratic mayors of those erstwhile immigrant-friendly cities.

"Those mayors, seemingly unwittingly, are making the governors’ point — that the administration has created a disaster at the US-Mexico line, requiring an immediate policy shift to protect lives and state and local finances.

"It started in April. Fed up with federal releases of large numbers of migrants into overwhelmed small towns in his state (including Uvalde), Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) began offering migrants free bus trips to DC to shift some of the burden to Washington.

"Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey (R) followed suit in May, and more than 7,300 migrants have since arrived in DC from the two states, creating what even Vanity Fair has termed, “A Migrant Crisis in Washington.”

"DC Mayor Muriel Bowser (D), who reaffirmed her town’s status as an immigrant “sanctuary city” after Donald Trump’s 2016 election, now derides Abbott’s and Ducey’s efforts as “cruel political gamesmanship” creating a “humanitarian crisis” in her city that “must be dealt with at the federal level” in a letter to the Department of Defense seeking National Guard support (since rejected)." . . .

Alas, poor FOX; I knew you well

Fox News desperately needs new blood - Thomas Lifson   "If the Drudge Report leak (see Peter Barry Chowka’s coverage of it here) about the new lineup at Fox News is correct, the network is stumbling very badly. Sticking with its existing talent (moving Hannity to Tucker’s old time slot) will not appease viewers angry over Tucker’s firing. The former viewers have made it clear that Hannity will not win them back.

. . ."I am one of those angry viewers, and the only thing that would intrigue me enough to check out their lineup at 8 PM Eastern is someone capable of both surprising me with new ideas and amusing me. Greg Gutfeld has that dual capacity, and that is why his star has soared in the late-night competition. But his is also mostly a comedy show, whose lighter approach is better at late night, rather than 8 PM, which is the showcase as it leads viewers into the entire prime time lineup. Having established ratings leadership in the late night comedy/entertainment territory, Fox News would be crazy to give that up by moving Gutfeld to 8 PM."

Is a major primetime schedule shakeup imminent at FOX News? - American Thinker

From the comments: We don't want the same old, same old, blah, blah, blah. Tyrus would be a good choice. He is tremendously popular and valued by audiences for his sharp intellect and thinking outside of the box. Or Greg.
Gutfeld's "poop" jokes wore thin on me a long time ago. I enjoy his guests, especially Kat and Tyrus.

Biden to Illegals: Stop, or We'll Give You More Money

Martha’s Vineyard rallies for togetherness - The Martha's Vineyard Times

Ann Coulter  "There seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding at the heart our current immigration debate. We keep hearing about needing an "orderly process" to get the migrants into our country, "building lawful pathways," and helping the migrants bypass coyotes.

"The two missing points are:

1) They have no right to come to our country; and

2) We don't want them here.

"Amid the hectoring from the mainstream media, it can be hard to remember, but we are a country, not a battered women's shelter. We have a right to decide who moves here, becomes our fellow citizen and shapes the kind of country we are.

"And we're getting a little sick of reading headlines like these:

What Americans' declining height has to say about the economy" -- PBS

"Why are Americans getting dumber?" -- UnHerd

"The U.S. economy is in its fourth decade of rising inequality" -- Equitable Growth

"Why are Americans' lives getting shorter?" -- The Economist

"Which is why most Americans think the ideal number of immigrants is about zero.

But the media act as if every desperate, poverty-stricken foreigner has a God-given right to come here. No, they don't. (Again, "country," not "battered women's shelter.")

"Liberals expect us to be moved by the horrible conditions they're fleeing. Thus, The New York Times tells us: "Many migrants are coming from places like Venezuela, which was suffering one of the worst economic crises in the world before the pandemic."

"The Times acts as if "the economy" is some sort of supernatural force raining down on hapless innocents, perhaps brought on by witchcraft -- or maybe Martian death rays! No, an economy is created by people. In dinosaur times, for example, there was no "economy" because there were no humans.

"Why is it a good idea to bring in people with a track record of creating economic catastrophes?" . . .

What the Durham Report is really worth

What the Durham Report is really worth - American Thinker  . . ."Bear in mind that the FBI was reported to have offered Christopher Steele a million bucks if he could corroborate his dossier on Mr. Trump, the dossier that Hillary Clinton paid for.  Steele failed his chance for a million bucks.  By mid-October 2016, the FBI should have known that Operation Crossfire Hurricane — the operation to crush Trump — was a piece of Democrat disinformation.  But they did not want to abandon the chance to help Hillary become president.  The truth is that Operation Crossfire Hurricane was an example of political projection to the Nth degree — the bad guys not being the Russians, but American intel left-wing zealots.". . .

What Durham’s report avoided - Thomas Lifson   "There was so much detail in the Durham report that the first round of responses quite naturally focused on what was included. Even if the report basically confirmed what conservatives have said for years about Russiagate, it was good to have it on the record and official, even though the lack of indictments, much less prosecutions, ensured that the miscreants remain, in the immortal words of Bill Ayers, “Guilty as sin, free as a bird.” A number of the worst ones enjoy lucrative contracts as commentators on CNN and MSNBC. And, of course, the outright lies of the ”big fat nothingburger” school of progressive commentary allow the left to make sure that their own supporters never learn of the details.

"But after absorbing the details of Durham’s output, those with good memories started to point out what was NOT included in Durham’s work product. Sundance of The Conservative Treehouse: . . ."

"This is not your grandfathers Democratic Party. It is authoritarian socialism at its worst."

LETTERS: Not your grandfather's Democrat party (newsherald.com)   "The soul-sapping, mind-twisting, transformation of the Democratic Party is complete.

"This is no longer the Democratic Party of your grandfather – it has lost its mind and its way. Its political philosophy of inclusion and progress has been consumed by virulent strains of anger, dishonesty, and intolerance. Its leaders don’t just want to win an election; they want to silence any American who disagrees with them.

"The party has been captured by cultural Marxists who are radically hostile to America's founding principles, its history, and its people. It's no exaggeration to recognize the reality that the Democratic Party is engaged in an ideological war against the historic American nation, which the party's members despise. " . . .

Your parent's Democratic Party is dead  "Long gone is the Democratic Party of your parents’ generation. They have morphed and contorted themselves into a political party no longer relatable or recognizable to most of America. "Today’s Democratic Party embraces the extreme, rewards the radical, shuns the sensible, and caters to the contemptible.". . .Democrats are losing blue collar workers, parents, young voters, Hispanics, etc. It is difficult to find an area of growth for Democrats today.  "It is policy that is repelling the voters. Inflation, energy, foreign policy, immigration, taxes, crime, and extreme positions on mask mandates, gender, and education all are driving people away from the Democratic Party." . . .

It's Not Your Father's Democratic Party - The New American

The father has no place in today’s Democratic Party | Washington Examiner

Democrats often complain that it is the Republicans who push an ideal vision of the American family on an unreceptive public. But the exact opposite is true. The public prefers a family in which the mother and the father are married, the father works full time, and the mother has the option of working full time, part time, or staying home. But the Biden agenda forces a different model on everyone.

Watch: GOP Rep Asks Education Secretary If He’d Be OK With ‘My Homeboys’ Entering Bathroom With His Daughter If They Identified as Women

  resistthemainstream

We can all sit around griping about this hateful, vicious, so-called LGBQT+, "gay agenda" BS which "American Pravda" is shoving down Americans' throats, or, we can Do Something~! "American Pravda" is ABC, CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, PBS, NYT, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, Silicon Valley, Google & YouTube.

"On Tuesday, Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT) put the U.S. secretary of the U.S. Department of Education on the spot when he asked the secretary a pointed question during a House Education and Workforce Committee hearing.

"The Biden administration has pressed hard in recent months to allow transgender biological males to compete in women’s sports and use women’s restrooms and shower facilities in public schools if they identify as female.

"Owens, the father of five daughters, has strong feelings on the subject; he asked Secretary Miguel Cardona if he would be okay with “my homeboys” entering a bathroom with his daughter if they identified as women?

“ 'Would you say as an 18-year-old young man that if me and some of my homeboys decided that we wanted to be women, would it be okay for me to go into your daughter’s bathroom and expose myself because I felt as if I was a woman?” Owens asked." . . .
