Juan Williams goes off the deep end, calling parents' rights . . .

Monica Showalter   "Just when you thought Juan Williams was the "reasonable liberal" among assorted leftist talking heads, off he goes down the deep end into the sea of leftist

crazies:

"In an op-ed penned for The Hill, Williams claims that parents upset about their school boards' Critical Race Theory curricula are nothing more than white supremacists:

Now Virginia Republicans are back with a new and improved "Culture Wars" campaign for 2021. The closing argument is once again full of racial division — but this time it is dressed up as a defense of little children.

The rallying cry is "Parents' Rights."

It is a campaign to stop classroom discussion of Black Lives Matter protests or slavery because it could upset some children, especially white children who might feel guilt.

And this time, the Trump-imitating Republicans think they have struck political gold.

"His argument pretty well reinforces the statement of down-in-the-polls Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate, Terry McAuliffe, who actually said that parents should have no role in their children's educations." . . .

Williams went on to perpetuate the thoroughly debunked “very fine people” propaganda; a claim Trump referred to white supremacists as “very fine people” in 2017, when in fact, he condemned them — just check the transcript.

Joy Reid: Education ‘Is Code for White Parents Don’t Like the Idea of Teaching about Race’    . . . "Reid said, “[T]he exit polls showed that — which was interesting — that the coronavirus, or that the virus was a very — was not important to many voters there. It was education, which is code for white parents don’t like the idea of teaching about race. And I mean, unfortunately, race is just the most palpable tool in the toolkit. It used to be of the Democratic Party back in the day when they were Dixiecrats and now of the Republican Party. It just is powerful.”. . .

How Low Can Joe Biden's Polls Go Before Democrats Tap the Brakes?

PJ Media   "As Democrats contemplate the potential for a stinging loss in the Virginia gubernatorial election, the party appears to remain utterly tone-deaf to the feedback it gets through public polling as they rush to pass President Joe Biden’s spending bills. New polling from NBC, ABC, and Rasmussen demonstrate just how badly Democrats misinterpreted their mandate in 2020.

"Earlier this month, a summary of Rasmussen polls on Biden’s approval and related issues indicated that Americans are not pleased with the current state of affairs. On Friday, the pollster released another survey of likely voters that showed that 57% think the economy is worse under Biden. A plurality of 38% believes Biden deserves the blame, while 22% place it on congressional Democrats. While 31% think congressional Republicans are to blame, the majority see this as a Democrat problem when that party controls a unified government.

"Polls released on Sunday underscore the data provided by Rasmussen over the last month. ABC/Ipsos polled Americans over 18 on the issues and the reconciliation bill negotiations. The poll has a 4.7% margin of error and oversampled Democrats by 7%. Biden gets his highest marks on the pandemic, with 56% of Americans approving of the response. However, that represents a 13-point decline from polling shortly after Inauguration Day. It dropped seven points after he announced the mandate in September.

"Americans give Biden his lowest marks for handling the southern border, gun violence, and the Afghanistan withdrawal, with Biden earning 31%, 39%, and 34%, respectively. He is underwater on the economic recovery, crime, climate change, and taxes. The only issue rated over 50% approval other than the pandemic response is rebuilding the infrastructure at 52%, a 10-point decline from August." . . .

Supreme Court won’t hear Catholic hospital challenge to transgender surgery

Washington Times  "The Supreme Court announced Monday it would not hear a challenge over a Catholic hospital declining to provide transgender surgery, leaving in place the lower court’s ruling in favor of the transgender man.

"A transgender man, Evan Minton, sued Dignity Health after the hospital declined to perform his hysterectomy.

"He received the surgery three days later at a non-religious hospital but filed a lawsuit in California claiming he was discriminated against.

"The lower courts ruled in his favor and against the hospital, which asked the justices to review the case.". . .

"Specifically, Dignity Health argued that religious health care institutions should be protected by the First Amendment and not forced to perform surgeries that conflict with its ethics.

"The majority of the justices declined to get involved.

"Justices Neil M. Gorsuch, Clarence Thomas and Samuel A. Alito Jr. would have taken up the case for review." . . .

Might Judge Kavanaugh be performing some sort of penance for the feminists?

This case should be similar to the Burwell v Hobby Lobby case, where it was ruled by the Supreme Court that a private business with religious beliefs cannot be forced to act against those beliefs by the government. The question for this lawsuit will be whether a private hospital with religious beliefs can refuse to perform procedures that would go against those beliefs. The Blaze

Stupid Things Stupid Liberals Did This Week

Stupid Things Stupid Liberals Did This Week  "It’s not surprising that Democrats are ratcheting up their dumb-dumb level to 11. They tend to do that when there are big elections on the line, so get yourself a large order of fries because here come some whoppers.

"Former Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe is fighting for his second gig as Virginia’s governor. A recent Fox News poll shows he is trailing his opponent, the GOP’s Glenn Youngkin, by eight points amongst likely voters. Things are looking bleak, so naturally, the commie gloves are off.

"Stupid Move #1: Mostly-White Supremacists

"When in doubt, play the white supremacy card. In what is possibly one of the worst stunts ever, it seems as though five “white supremacists” decided to show their support for Youngkin in Virginia by standing next to his van. We assume they are white supremacists because they have their Charlottesville-ish tiki torches, even though they are in the pouring rain. They all match pretty much except one of the would-be Klansmen is black.

"Another one is rumored to be Camden Layton, financial director of Virginia’s Young Democrats.

"It turns out it was the Lincoln Project that put this hoax together because of Trump and Charlottesville…or something like that. Or is that the lame excuse the Lincoln Project is using now that they’re been busted?" . . .
That's just one of three; keep going...

Joy Reid Hypes Up Nonsense, Goes Way Over The Top In Recent Video

My Daily Freedom  "Here is Joy Reid. She is going way over the top after Republicans stood up for Kyrsten Sinema and said it was inappropriate to chase her into a bathroom with a camera. Not to mention it was literally creepy.

"Joy Reid is harping on one single day compared to a massive amount of times the left has been inappropriate.

"But hey, this is who Joy Reid is and what she does. I don’t know why she has any audience at all.

"Even Bill Maher railed against the left and their treatment of Sinema: “Real Time” host Bill Maher blasted the “outrageous” harassment Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., faced when she was followed into a restroom earlier this month by activists at Arizona State University." . . .

The Historic Psyop of the COVID-19 Pandemic – Will You Surrender or Will You Stand?

 The Gateway Pundit

"A point stressed from the beginning of this scamdemic—the manipulation of man by fear is fueled by mass hysteria causing a visceral response rather than a cognitive response. Basically, hysteria causes us to have a “knee-jerk” reaction without thinking through the issue. God wants us to make decisions based upon “reason” (Isaiah 1:18).

"You can take a kernel of truth and fabricate an amazing scenario around it and convince a population of an untruth—think of the fable “The King’s new clothes.”

"Realize that fears associated with physical health are among the strongest in the human psyche. This makes health issues a primary fulcrum in psyops. If you can “sell” a better vitamin, an amazing supplement, or a vita-packed juice drink, your profits will be amazing. Health sells like no other product. BUT disease sells better! And this is exactly what we have in the manipulative marketing of COVID-19!" . . .

Transsexualism is a lost cause

. . ."  When society gets lost, such stubbornness causes more suffering than it proposes to prevent. The end of society has now become foreseeable.  We foresee it.  Let’s turn around.". . .
The Trans Juggernaut Wants Your Kids, And Public Schools Are Just The Beginning

Robert Arvay  "It is said of frontiersman and explorer Daniel Boone that he denied ever having gotten lost, although he did concede that once, he had been “a might bewildered” for a few days.

"I know, men hate to admit being lost, but the fact is that, unlike Boone, I got lost.

In my defense, I was following directions exactly, but at some point, I noticed that the road was looking less and less like the directions.  Finally, the disparity was so obvious, that I had to admit the humiliating truth.  I actually had to stop, turn around, and go back, until I pulled over to ask directions, and was sent to the correct turnoff.

"Would that all this applied to the social Left.

"I can understand the hesitation to admit error, especially after having invested a few miles along an erroneous path.  What I understand less is the refusal to turn around when there is undeniably no longer any possibility of reaching a desired destination on the present route.  At that point, error becomes folly, and worse, perhaps fatal.

"American leftism is lost, hopelessly so, but refuses to turn around.  One could use many examples, but the one most recently on my news feeds concerns what is called transsexualism, more specifically, its encouragement in elementary schools." . . .

The Trans Juggernaut Wants Your Kids, And Public Schools Are Just The Beginning

Parents are facing fewer and fewer ways to protect their children from being used as guinea pigs inside an experiment constructed by unelected bureaucrats. Here we’ll discuss two recent examples: one specific and one more general.

American society has become a polluted sea that sharks like George Soros and other leftist demagogues can swim freely without fear. TD

Biden's "Build Back Bolshevik"

Martine Fuentes  . . ."Meanwhile, Americans are being conditioned for shortages of everything from food to semiconductors, while ships, trucks and even the mail have become unreliable. This sudden distortion of markets and supply chains was not natural; it was caused by the government restrictions introduced under cover of the Wuhan virus, and it is made worse by the left-green mandates seen everywhere in the Reign of Greta." . . .

. . ."Like Biden, Josef Stalin purged his military of competent officers, for fear their thoughts were not sufficiently progressive. Stalin’s new politically correct Soviet Army was then thoroughly spanked by a much smaller, more creative force after invading Finland in 1939. One can almost visualize a Soviet version of General Mark Milley licking Stalin’s boots, even while his troops were getting slaughtered in the snow.

“ 'Build Back Better”? That is merely Biden’s awkward plagiarizing of the globalist Great Reset, which itself smells a lot like a blend of China’s Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution.

"Fabricate a crisis. Create shortages, inflation and monetary chaos. Destabilize the heartland with alien cultures. Crush the middle class. Erase and invalidate history. Divide and demonize. Purge the police and military of patriots. Transfer wealth from the people to the Party and its useful idiots.

"Biden doesn’t want to Build Back Better.

"He wants to Build Back Bolshevik."

Petain, Vichy, and Anti-Semitism

. . ."Zemmour is not immune from controversy. In his 2014 book, The French Suicide, he wrote that France is in decline and that its traditional values are being replaced by gender equality, race, gay rights, and immigration". . .

"As time goes by, there is a consensus that Casablanca, the story of the cynical hard-drinking American expatriate nightclub owner choosing between his love for a woman or helping her and her husband, is one of the greatest films of all time. Its characters, dialogue, and theme song have become iconic. We’ll always have Casablanca. It is a film of moral ambiguity, that can be seen either as a theme of love and sacrifice or as a political allegory about resistance against Nazism.

"However, this brilliant film has a flaw. In one scene the camera focuses on the prefecture of the corrupt chief of police on the wall of which is the motto of the French Third Republic, “liberty, equality, fraternity,” inherited from the 1789 French revolution. But the Third Republic had ended in May 1940, and its motto had been officially replaced by the slogan, “work, family, homeland,” of the new French state, popularly known as Vichy. The differences between the two mottos are still pertinent in French politics and culture today." . . .

Is Newsom Punishing Those Who Tried To Recall Him?

Issues & Insights   "Ralph Waldo Emerson said “when you strike at a king, you must kill him.” Gov. Gavin Newsom is no king, and last month’s recall campaign was not intended to
harm him physically. But it’s foolish to believe he won’t respond as a monarch who narrowly missed losing his crown would.

. . . "Newsom, who’s been working his way up California politics since the 1990s, had never appeared to be the vindictive sort, such as, say, a Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. But then the recall race tightened up. The now-famous “damn” interview in August with editorial boards from McClatchy’s California newspapers made it obvious that the pressure was getting to him. He lashed out at the journalists who were interviewing him, “everybody outside this state,” and “our homegrown team.” He also made it clear that he feels threatened by Texas, because he made a comparison between the states that he couldn’t back up.

At that point, it became clear that a cornered Newsom was capable of punishing his political enemies.

"Of course, the walls that were closing in are now gone. So the “left-leaning advocacy organizations” that “are ready with a list of ideas” – such as a new focus on taxpayer-provided health care and climate – for Newsom to turn into policy will have an extra-attentive governor at the table.

“ 'When you face a recall … it sharpens your focus about time,” Newsom said. “Things that you may have looked at on the horizon and said, ‘You know over the next two, three years, we want to get this done,’ you start looking very differently and say, ‘What’s possible in the next two to three months?’”

"British journalist Piers Morgan, who has lived and worked in California, and still has a home in Los Angeles, noted this month that, “empowered by his recent recall election win, Newsom fired off a raft of laws that included making it illegal to use gas-powered ‘off-road engine engines’ including leaf-blowers, lawnmowers, and golf carts, ordered schools to teach all students ‘ethnic studies’, and large toy stores to have gender-neutral sections.' ” . . .

What to Make of Terry McAuliffe’s Disgraceful Display in Virginia

https://www.terrellaftermath.com/

Rajan Laad   . . ."Overall, McAuliffe is beginning to look desperate and consequently lackluster.

"Things took a turn for the worse yesterday when the disgraced anti-Trump group the Lincoln Project attempted to orchestrate a hoax that involved five individuals dressed up as white supremacists expressing support for Youngkin in a bid to repel Virginia's voters. Among these ‘white supremacists reluctantly standing before Youngkin’s campaign bus was a black man and what appeared to be a woman.

"The motives behind this disgraceful and amateur stunt were instantly discovered and ridiculed on social media.

"But that didn't stop members of McAuliffe’s campaign team and their allies in the media, amplifying the hoax.

"McAuliffe’s ‘outraged’ communications staffer Jen Goodman tweeted that the gathering was “disgusting and disqualifying.”

“This is who Glenn Youngkin’s supporters are,” said Christina Freundlich, who is part of McAuliffe’s campaign team.

"This is the same Lincoln Project whose co-founder was accused of sexually harassing more than 20 young men while the senior management was accused of looking the other way, despite being aware of it. Also, of the $90 million that the Lincoln Project has raised, more than $50 million has gone to firms controlled by the group’s leaders." . . .

Jihadist Threat Against Malls In Virginia ... Afghan Refugees? Couldn't Have Seen That One Coming

Infidel Bloggers       " Catherine Herridge  "NEW: Sources tell @CBSNews the warning of a potential threat against malls and shopping centers located just outside Washington D.C. originated with ISIS. Law enforcement actively assessing credibility."
