The NYT reports that a huge black turnout is the only way Democrats can hold the Senate. Obama has said many of those voters may not even be aware there’s an election going on. So this could be about drumming up turnout, and transferring a little love to Democratic Senate candidates to keep that agenda alive."

Additionally, his church has been vandalized and large amounts of money earmarked for charities has been stolen.
