Obama feeling sorry for self

Thomas Lifson in American Thinker  "By now it is well known that President Obama has the thinnest of skins when it comes to criticism. But petulance over insufficient adulation takes narcissism to an entirely different level. This is a man wholly unprepared for serious responsibility. He may be able to accept that conservatives fail to admire him, but his incompetence and irresolution are now alienating his constituencies on the left and in the media. While he is good at projecting a calm veneer as Mr. Cool, I strongly suspect that inner turmoil is becoming increasingly difficult for him to manage. "

Obama Whines: American Journalists 'Never Say Thank You' "Either explanation speaks volumes about Obama's attitude towards the press. Sure, journalists voted overwhelmingly for Obama over John McCain (a fact Obama himself has acknowledged). If that were not enough to secure the president's good will, the media seemed to do everything in their power to make sure Obama's path to the White House was clear, burying his connection to leftist radicals, and hyping racism accusations against his political opponents."

Obama peeved with American press for not saying 'thank you' after press conference  "This is a man obsessed with the trappings of the office, not with the substance of it. We saw it during the campaign with the self-designed Obama seal (that lasted one day after universal ridicule), and his penchant for luxurious travel arrangements and tony vacation spots."

Speaking of the press:  The mainstream media trickle down effect  The most mind-blowing aspect of this leftist pap is that it comes directly on the heels of the historic rejection of the Democratic Party platform in both Congress and State Houses across the land. This debilitating defeat occurred precisely because liberal democrats, supported whole-heartedly by the "mainstream" media, pushed through their socialist agenda, like the one described above, against the will of a majority of reasonable, tax-paying, and voting Americans."
