"Is Philadelphia more racist now, too? Kamala underperformed by double-digits in the Democratic bastion." Matt Vespa
We Have Another MSNBC Meltdown That Proves the Left Doesn't Get Why They Lost . . ."Eddie Glaude had a total meltdown on MSNBC. He couldn’t accept that the American people voted for someone who would end their economic suffering. There are many reasons why Kamala Harris wasn’t going to win, to say nothing that she couldn’t articulate a single policy issue. The merry-go-round of failed attacks was astounding during her 108-day stint as the 2024 Democratic nominee. And yet, Glaude still thinks it’s racism, despite Trump gaining among young voters, blacks, and especially Hispanics. In four years, Catholic voters became more racist, while white women under 30 saw an 11-point swing to Trump. Is Chicago now a bastion of Nazism, Mr. Glaude? No.
"Host Stephanie Ruhle tried to explain why Donald Trump won, which Glaude, a Princeton University professor, couldn’t believe because this is how liberals behave when they lose. Their entire ethos is all emotion-based, not fact-based. Glaude wants to believe in the identitarian nonsense that’s engulfed the Democratic Party and the belief that we’re a racist country." . . .
"In 2020, the percentage of Americans who wanted to decrease immigration was just 28%. By this year, it was 55%. When Kamala Harris went on The View and was asked how she would have differed from Biden, instead of basically saying nothing different, she should have said, I would have shut down the border early and hard."
. . ."The GPS hosttold his audience that there was no singular reason why Vice PresidentKamala Harrisand down-ballot Democratsperformed so poorly.
He categorized the election results as a reaction from an electorate that had grown tired of Democratic policies and the party’s messaging. He said Democrats misread the room on everything from diversity to their handling of immigration to a sentiment Trump was being persecuted by politically motivated criminal trials and proceedings.
“At first glance, it would seem easy to explain last year’s election as part of a 2024 global wave against incumbents beset by post-Covid turmoil and inflation,” Zakaria said.
He added that in his estimation, a Harris loss could have been “preordained” but that it was not the case – citing economic factors unique to the US.
After noting Trump was essentially spent as a political force after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, Zakaria walked his audience through polling that showed Trump continued to rise in polls while Democrats became overconfident.
“But they blew it,” he said. “The New York Times estimates that Harris will lose the national popular vote by about a point and a half, a first for Democrats since 2004.”
"Zakaria explained Democrats lost big last week for three key reasons:" . . .
"Other actions Trump may take immediately would likely rely on executive authority. Trump has vowed to sign an executive order “on Day 1” to stop federal agencies from giving automatic U.S. citizenship to the children of immigrants in the country illegally. Such an effort to end birthright citizenship would face certain legal challenges."
"President-elect Trump announced Sunday that former Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director Tom Homan would serve as “border czar” in his second administration, installing a key ally to enact a promised crackdown at the southern border.
"Trump made the announcement on Truth Social and said Homan’s responsibilities would include “the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security.”
"“I’ve known Tom for a long time, and there is nobody better at policing and controlling our Borders,” Trumpposted. “Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all Deportation of Illegal Aliens back to their Country of Origin. Congratulations to Tom. I have no doubt he will do a fantastic, and long awaited for, job.”
"Much of Trump’sDay 1 agendais likely to be focused on cracking down on immigration, and in Homan, Trump has appointed a staunch ally who has shown a willingness to carry out his orders.
"Trump has for months pledged to launch the largest deportation operation in the nation’s history, an effort he has said will rely on cooperation with local police departments, even as he has provided few specificsabout the costor repercussions of removing millions of people from the country.
"Other actions Trump may take immediately would likely rely on executive authority. "NFL star Nick Bosa set off speculation and fan reactions with a celebratory move that seemed kind of familiar.
The San Francisco 49ers starting defensive end took a moment with teammates to celebrate a move during Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Bosa sacked Baker Mayfield for a 10-yard loss in the fourth quarter.
"While there has not yet been any confirmation that Bosa did, in fact, do a quick “Trump Dance,” many fans watching were convinced the 49ers defensive star was again showing his support of President-elect Donald Trump with the move as seen in clips from the NFL and Fox Sports.
"Bosa was fined $11,255 by the League after he crashed a live ESPN interview last month and drew attention to his Trump hat declaring “Make America Great Again.” That move was seen as a boss move by many supporters of the former president and Bosa’a celebratory dance on Sunday had many wondering if he was channeling Trump again." . . .

Calling Trump “Hitler” and “Nazi” utterly trivializes Hitler and Nazism. Young people, the recipients of a largely worthless education in American schools — especially regarding history — know little, if anything, about Hitler and Nazism
"It may be impossible to overstate the damage done to morality by the Democrats and other leftists calling Donald Trump a fascist and a Nazi and declaring him “Hitler.”
"Asked by Anderson Cooper on CNN if she believes Trump is a “fascist,” Kamala Harris said, “Yes, I do.”
"With regard to calling Trump “Hitler,” Newsweek’s fact-checker concluded: “Harris didn’t directly call Trump ‘Hitler.’ However, many will think she came very close to it: she confirmed that she believes Trump is a fascist, quoted (retired four-star General, and one of Donald Trump’s White House chiefs of staff, John] Kelly’s unfavorable comments (Kelly said Trump ‘wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had’) and suggested Trump would ‘invoke’ Hitler.”
"Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, compared the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden to the 1939 Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden.
"Many Hitler historians have done similarly. In a 2017 essay in the Los Angeles Review of Books, Ron Rosenbaum, author of a New York Times bestselling biography of Adolf Hitler, “Explaining Hitler,” compared Trump to Hitler:
“ '(The views of) Trump and his minions … come out of a playbook written in German. … The playbook is ‘Mein Kampf.’
“ 'What I want to suggest is an actual comparison with Hitler that deserves thought. It’s what you might call the secret technique, a kind of rhetorical control that both Hitler and Trump used on their opponents, especially the media.
“ 'Alan Bullock (the first major Hitler biographer) … had initially argued (that) it was likely (Hitler) had believed in nothing and just used the Jew-hatred to advance his cause with the nitwit thug segment of the German people. Just as Trump appealed to his nitwit thug racist, anti-Semite followers. … This is the comparison I’d been seeking.”. . .
That Jewish groups have not vigorously protested labeling Trump “Hitler” and “Nazi” only shows how deep the left-wing influence has been on most American Jewish organizations, especially the Anti-Defamation League, the organization founded to protect American Jews and combat antisemitism.
"The point is that it is possible that none of them actually supported her; they were hired to pretend they supported her." Patricia McCarthy; American Thinker*
Donors to the Harris-Walz campaign must have been shocked to receive an email calling for new donations the day after they’d been crushed by President-elect Donald Trump. The email said that the “Harris Fight Fund” urgently needed funds to help Senate candidates in “races where ballots were still being counted.”
After amassing a war chest of more than $1 billion and outraising Trump by a margin of 3 to 1, the campaign was $20 million in debt." . . .
BREAKING: The vanquished Harris-Walz campaign has morphed into the “Harris Fight Fund” and has dispatched Tampon Tim Walz to send a begging email asking for more donations from their broken supporters.
They raised a billion dollars but somehow ended up 20 million in debt— and these are the people Democrats want running the country??
Sounds like a money laundering scheme to me.
Grifters gonna grift, I guess.
"It turned out that the need for cash had nothing to do with helping Senate candidates. It had everything to do with paying celebrities to endorse Harris and to perform at her rallies, particularly those who appeared in the final days of the campaign.
"For starters, you may recall Harris’s much-hyped “Unite for America” livestream event in September that was hosted by Oprah Winfrey. Fox News’ Jesse Watters reported on Friday night that Winfrey was paid $1 million dollars for her time. He added that if Oprah thought she was “saving democracy, she should have done it for free.”
"We have no way of knowing how much other celebrities were paid. However, it has been widely alleged that Lizzo was paid $2.3 million for reading a speech at an October rally in Detroit." . . .
*UPDATE: Did celebrities have to be paid to endorse Kamala?. . ."How pathetic is their contempt for the American people who are not members of the wealthy elite, who feel so superior to the likes of regular folks? They thought that self-aggrandizing narcissists like George Clooney, who kicked off the “we need a new nominee” move; DiCaprio; Lady Gaga; Springsteen; Willie Nelson; etc. would sway enough voters to beat Trump. That is how colossally stupid both the entertainment industry performers and the Deep State operatives are. That is how astronomically clueless the Democrat left is today. It is why Trump won so resoundingly.
"The left and their beloved celebrities will be forevermore a spectacular joke. The left’s blind rage has left its members bitter and placing blame in all the wrong places."
