"Iran was on the warpath. Awash with petro-dollars (and just plain dollars, courtesy of the Biden administration), the Iranian mullahs were clearly the ascending power in their region. Meanwhile, Israel was ravaged by terrorist invaders; their one-proud intelligence services and military were exposed as inadequate. The Iranian proxy militaries surrounding the Jewish homeland (as well as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and more) kept a gun pointed at their enemies’ heads. This was the New World Order in the Middle East.  

"America’s allies were on their heels.

"Iran thundered in apocalyptic prose: Israel will be destroyed! Death to America! Destroy the infidels! Kill the Jews! The future is ours!

"General Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, smugly told the media, “Iran’s response to the Zionist aggression is definite. We are capable of destroying all that the Zionists possess with one operation.”

"At least, Fadavi felt that way on October 31, when he issued that statement. Since then, America had a pretty big presidential election. (You might’ve heard about it.) But if you haven’t, here’s the highlight: The crazy, scary Orange Man is back in the saddle.

What would be worse: her as President or having to see her as a loser, nightly and for years on TV, bitterly narrating how she was cheated out of an office she "rightfully owned"? TD

 “There are rumors swirling that Hillary Clinton is making plans to run for president in 2028. Eighty one isn’t bad for POTUS right? Biden just turned 82. We like our presidents in Depends,” wrote another.

"Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has ignited speculation about a potential 2028 presidential bid as she is scheduled to speak at an upcoming event.

"The former first lady is set to join her husband, former President Bill Clinton, at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Clinton Presidential Center on Dec. 7 in Little Rock, Arkansas, according to the Daily Mail. The center houses the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum ["and Massage Parlor": (Rush Limbaugh)].“The Clintons will share reflections on the noble and important work of public service – from securing peace, prosperity, and progress during the Clinton administration to uplifting millions of people through the work of the Clinton Foundation,” a press release for the event read.

"It also emphasized how the couple is “empowering the next generation of leaders through the Clinton School, and deepening the understanding of the work of the Clinton Administration through the work of the Clinton Presidential Library & Museum.”

The news of the event, which quickly circulated online, has reignited discussions about Clinton’s political future. It received mixed reactions from political observers and the public. Supporters view it as a sign of her enduring commitment to public service, while critics question the viability of another Clinton presidential campaign."

Why it could happen:

The Feminization of American Politics  . . ."Most women will not massively mobilize for a femininized candidate, and this aversion rests a near universal hard-wired preference for masculine traits such as strength, resolve, decisiveness, willingness to take risk, competitiveness, and similar male leadership attributes. Caring and compassion are not in the President’s job description. Moreover, as Heather Mac Donald put it, “Feminism was zero-sum: it championed females by tearing males down.” Not a savvy election strategy. Recall that Hillary Clinton could not ride the “sisterhood” issue to victory. To be sure, these “male” qualities are not strictly biological -- think Margaret Thatcher -- but most people, regardless of sex, know that “male traits” are vital for national survival. Alexander the Great put it succinctly: “I am not afraid of any army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.”  We'll see what Michelle O has to say.
