‘Liberal Sherpa’ sues Tucker Carlson, claims he ‘sexually harassed her’ – by taking his jacket off on set

Law Enforcement Today  "In what could be construed as frivolous, Tucker Carlson has been named among other Fox News figures in a lawsuit that alleges Carlson made some suggestively inviting comments to engage in promiscuity with a former guest on his show, Cathy Areu.
. . .
"A Fox News spokesperson responded to the lawsuit, stating the following:
. . .
Perhaps she wasn’t invited back to the show because of ridiculous comments like referring to babies as “theybies” – since you wouldn’t want to offend their gender identity that hasn’t formed yet.
Or perhaps that one 2018 segment where she argued that words like “mailman” are sexist language. Don’t forget how she championed when colleges brought in “cry closets” for students stressed about finals....
..." 'Based on the findings of a comprehensive independent investigation conducted by an outside law firm, including interviews with numerous eyewitnesses, we have determined that all of Cathy Areu’s claims against FOX News, including its management as well as its hosts Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity & Howard Kurtz and its contributor Gianno Caldwell, are false, patently frivolous and utterly devoid of any merit.”
"It’s painfully obvious that the show simply didn’t want to host the “Liberal Sherpa” any longer, and to bring about a lawsuit alleging retaliation seems a bit of a far cry based upon evidence at hand.
"But, we all know this isn’t about a lawsuit – it’s a means to weaponize a civil suit to create a headline and a character attack." . . .  Cathy Areu at length

Fox News sent a full statement on the matter with witch Cathy Areu to the Deseret News:  “Based on the findings of a comprehensive independent investigation conducted by an outside law firm, including interviews with numerous eyewitnesses, we have determined that all of Cathy Areu’s claims against FOX News, including its management as well as its hosts Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity & Howard Kurtz and its contributor Gianno Caldwell, are false, patently frivolous and utterly devoid of any merit. We take all claims of harassment, misconduct and retaliation seriously, promptly investigating them and taking immediate action as needed — in this case, the appropriate action based on our investigation is to defend vigorously against these baseless allegations. Ms. Areu and Jennifer Eckhart can pursue their claims against Ed Henry directly with him, as FOX News already took swift action as soon as it learned of Ms. Eckhart’s claims on June 25 and Mr. Henry is no longer employed by the network.”
