Such a loss to us all; I meet constantly, every day, black people who are friendly, courteous and uplifting, at church and elsewhere. Yet the news shows us only scowling, angry faces on the streets and in Congress of those who stoke anger and violence among this nation. TD
"And yet libs claim blacks can’t be racist." The racism I fear is that of young black people who notice my white face as I approach them. If a victim of a previous mugging, or the "knock-out game" such as many Asians have been crosses the street to avoid being too close to a group of African-Americans, are they racist? Or if I am a store owner? TD

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 70% of American Adults think the term “racism” refers to any discrimination by people of one race against another. Just 16% say it refers only to discrimination by white people against minorities. Another 14% are not sure...
