Former Fox correspondent Carl Cameron says police will have to start monitoring Fox News to prevent Tucker Carlson from lying on air

But you're OK with Jim Acosta, Carl?

Former Fox Correspondent Says Police Should Stop Tucker Carlson From Lying (businessinsider.com)  "A former correspondent with Fox News suggested on Saturday that law enforcement agencies will have to take action against Fox News and Tucker Carlson to "stop the lying."

"Carl Cameron, Fox's former chief political correspondent, told CNN's Jim Acosta that Carlson in particular has been "screaming fire in a crowded movie house for years." . . .

. . ."Carlson latched onto that theory in his coverage of the Buffalo shooting, said Cameron, adding that the US government has to take action against people who spread and amplify misinformation.

""Democrats have to kick it in," he said. "The president has to be more forceful and sooner or later the law enforcement and the US government is going to have to stop the lying because it's causing people's deaths."

" 'It's not just Fox, it's social media in general," he added. "It's on the internet. And we have to remember that a good portion of what we read is coming from folks who aren't Americans, pretending to be Americans in order to gaslight them even worse."

"When reached for comment, a Fox News spokesperson directed Insider to various on-air comments from Carlson in which he denounces political violence."

Acosta badly wants the cameras on.

Yes, Acosta is even honored by the Babylon Bee:

Standing before a massive crowd of cardboard cutouts of Jim Acosta, Jim Acosta humbly accepted ‘The Jim Acosta Award For Courageous And Handsome Journalism’ from himself.

The award ceremony lasted over thirty minutes due to the multiple components of the award Jim Acosta accepted from Jim Acosta:

  • The Jim Acosta Trophy of Distinguished Journalism adorned with an engraved image of Jim Acosta.
  • The Jim Acosta Medal of Journalistic Valor, also engraved with Jim Acosta’s likeness.
  • The Jim Acosta Commemorative T-Shirt, which lists, in 12-point font, the numerous risks taken by Jim Acosta on the front lines as CNN’s Chief White House correspondent.
  • The Jim Acosta Collector’s Plate, with a watercolor portrait of Jim Acosta.
  • An autographed copy of Jim Acosta’s book, “The Enemy of the People.” The autograph reads, “To my biggest fan, from your biggest fan. Love, Jim Acosta.”

During Jim Acosta’s acceptance speech, which was printed on the back of The Jim Acosta Commemorative T-Shirt, Jim Acosta recounted being the first-hand witness to some of the most pivotal moments in the history of the United States, like when Jim Acosta yelled super loud at the President of the United States, and that other time when he was called mean names by the President of the United States.

At press time, Jim Acosta was seen filling out a job application for Wendy’s.
