Ed Lasky: Obama's Work Ethic Criticized Again "He shows energy only when he campaigns -- and it is a negative energy, driven more by rage (we hear of his contempt for Mitt Romney) than, let's say, hope.  He likes to shoot hoops with NBA stars, hang out with celebrities, play golf, take vacations, give speeches before adoring crowds, and collect cash from campaign contributors, but he does not like the humdrum responsibilities that come from being president.

'OIHO' and other Obama gaffes on the campaign trail this week

Examiner.com  "While they aren’t the biggest gaffes of the week, it is atypical of President Barack Obama to make several mistakes within two days on the campaign trail – and he did just that on Wednesday and Thursday. The first error to catch the eyes of the press instead of the press’s ears was when he was standing with supporters at Sloopy’s Bar on the campus of Ohio State University and attempted to spell out the state’s name with their arms. A huge-smiling Obama and three others spelled out “OIHO” instead of “OHIO”."
Right; the whole thing is just a fun screw-up and no big deal. But since the Democrats made such a brouhaha over Dan Quayle's inconsequential misspelling of "potato", I'm including this for them. This is for you, Dems, my former party. TD

NY Post   "Obama and Dolan have clashed publicly over a health-care law requiring employers to provide abortion coverage.

"Dolan and other groups filed suit against the rule, claiming it forces church-related groups to act against their conscience.

"Still, Dolan invited both Obama and Mitt Romney to his annual Alfred E. Smith dinner in New York City in October.

" “The Republicans are smart enough to get the ‘pope of America,’ and the Democrats are stupid enough not to invite him,” said Bill Donohue, of the Catholic League, who said he spoke with Dolan yesterday.
