President Trump criticizes congresswoman Frederica Wilson, called by others, the "clown in a sequined cowboy hat".

The Slammer
Thereby adding to her "rock star" status

Circa   "President Donald Trump continued to attack congresswoman Frederica Wilson on Sunday, calling her a "gift" to the Republican party.

"Wacky Congresswoman Wilson is the gift that keeps on giving for the Republican Party, a disaster for Dems," Trump wrote. "You watch her in action & vote R!"

A clown in a sequined cowboy hat distorts greatest sacrifice
"At last America is once again unified. We are, it turns out, all racists."Because if retired Marine General and current White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, a Gold Star dad among so many other distinctions, is a racist, then every last one of us is."This is according to the great titan of objective intellect, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson of South Florida. Somewhere, one of the buffoonish characters of a Carl Hiaasen novel jumped out of the pages and ran for Congress."Congresswoman Wilson is living proof that, literally, anyone — no matter how stupid — can get elected to Congress. And the fact that there is actually a party in American politics that would allow someone so dumb in their caucus only proves how unseriously Democrats take themselves and how much contempt party leaders have for innocent American voters."Congresswoman Wilson has long been known for pretty much only one thing: the ridiculous, colorful, feathered and sequined cowboy hats she sports around the halls of Congress. Otherwise, she is ignored because of her stultifying ignorance." . . ."Her style — or distinctive lack thereof — has always been humorously tolerated because she seemed fairly harmless in a place that is increasingly useless.
"Until, that is, she waded into the momentously sacred space where a commander in chief must extend the heartfelt thanks of a grateful nation to a family suffering the incalculable loss of a son, nephew, husband, father — in battle. The president speaks of the man’s bravery and sacrifice.
"But to a very dumb person, uncaring yet eavesdropping, incapable of understanding bravery or sacrifice, the words come unhinged from their meaning. And if the person is a hopelessly partisan hack in Congress — in addition to being dangerously stupid — these sober words get jammed clumsily into a sausage grinder, and out pops gibberish nonsense.

The Obama Administration’s Uranium One Scandal

Andrew C. McCarthy

"Not only the Clintons are implicated in a uranium deal with the Russians that compromised national-security interests."

"Let’s put the Uranium One scandal in perspective: The cool half-million bucks the Putin regime funneled to Bill Clinton was five times the amount it spent on those Facebook ads — the ones the media-Democrat complex ludicrously suggests swung the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump.

"The Facebook-ad buy, which started in June 2015 — before Donald Trump entered the race — was more left-wing agitprop (ads pushing hysteria on racism, immigration, guns, etc.) than electioneering. The Clintons’ own long-time political strategist Mark Penn estimates that just $6,500 went to actual electioneering. (You read that right: 65 hundred dollars.) By contrast, the staggering $500,000 payday from a Kremlin-tied Russian bank for a single speech was part of a multi-million-dollar influence-peddling scheme to enrich the former president and his wife, then–secretary of state Hillary Clinton. At the time, Russia was plotting — successfully — to secure U.S. government approval for its acquisition of Uranium One, and with it, tens of billions of dollars in U.S. uranium reserves.

"Here’s the kicker: The Uranium One scandal is not only, or even principally, a Clinton scandal. It is an Obama-administration scandal." . . . Read more here.

'Another missile test will mean WAR' Shock warning of Chinese BLITZ on North Korea

"CIA chief Mike Pompeo said on Thursday that North Korea could be only “months” away from gaining the ability to hit the United States with nuclear weapons."
UK Express

Jinping

"President Jinping was said to be "boiling with fury" after North Korea recently tested a missile just as China was gearing up to host a pivotal global economic conference.
"The former US ambassador to China Max Baucus recently claimed the only time he saw the Chinese leader use "undiplomatic language" was in relation to Kim Jong-Un.
"Professor Sho-Hu, who has ties to China's defence and foreign affairs establishment, suggested that the time may have come for a military solution to the problem.
"He said: "The Chinese government is mad, China’s top leader is mad. China wants to punish North Korea.
" 'China once had special relations with the Soviet Union but they had war with that country.
" 'They also had a very special relationship with Vietnam but then they had a war with them in 1979
" 'The relationship between China and North Korea is worse than both of those.
" 'I will say, there are no permanent friends and no permanent enemies.' " . . .

UPDATE....NFL HELL: Several Stadiums Nearly Empty As Anthem Protest Backlash Rolls Into Week 7 (PHOTOS)

The thing to be sure of is the time these photos were taken. Are photos taken after kick-off and not just before or after the game?

The Gateway Pundit  "Several NFL stadiums are nearly empty post kick-off as the National Anthem controversy rolls into week 7.
"Plenty of empty seats visible at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida as the New York Jets play the Miami Dolphins."

"If the NFL thought Americans would ease the backlash against the league — they were sadly mistaken. Photos of empty stadiums from around the league show how dire a situation kneelers have spurred. Stadiums were nearly empty in Week 6, as well." . . .

In a search for Oct 22 crowd photos this one came up, but Rams-49ers (it appears) was Sept 21:

Media Ignored Obama Telling Police: Risking Your Lives Is Part Of ‘Job You Signed Up For’

Ever notice when Obama was irritated by a question, he would begin his response with, "Look....." ?

Weasel Zippers

"Obama started the war on police.
The media predictably exploded this week after a Democratic congresswoman attacked President Donald Trump for allegedly making insensitive remarks to the family of a fallen U.S. soldier — accusing the President of saying callously that the soldier “knew what he signed up for.”
While other Gold Star families had come out and said that President Trump was respectful when he called them — suggesting the media and Democrats were taking his remarks out of context — the media instead focused on portraying the President as a heartless monster.
What the media did not do was point out that former President Barack Obama said essentially the same thing to a graduating class of police officers in Columbus, Ohio in 2009:
The job you signed up for is not easy. It can mean long shifts and late nights. It demands focus, and determination, and great bravery in the face of unknown dangers. When you run into that building or chase down that suspect, you will be risking your own life in order to protect the lives of men and women you have never met, and some that you may never know.
But you knew all that when you joined the academy. You knew the risks involved, you knew the sacrifices required, and yet you stood up and said, “I’ll take that risk. I’ll make that sacrifice. I will do that job.”
During the Obama administration, many — including top police officials — blamed the president for creating a “war on cops,” often citing “systemic racism” in law enforcement while rarely urging people to support the police.

Bush and Kelly: Truth Tellers. We all have something to learn from the two speeches, not least Donald Trump.

Jonah Goldberg  "Former president George W. Bush gave an impassioned, eloquent speech on the current moral, civil, and political climate in the United States and across the West."John Kelly, the White House chief of staff, gave less formal, but arguably more powerful, remarks in the briefing room yesterday. Kelly scolded a Democratic congresswoman, Frederica Wilson, and, really, the entire country, much like a disappointed father or grandfather might.

"But it seems like almost everybody is only hearing what they want to hear. Liberals, the media, and — importantly — President Trump’s Amen Corner all heard the same thing in Bush’s remarks: “Blah, blah, blah, blah, Trump Bad.”
"That’s why Bush is suddenly benefitting from a strange new respect from liberals and a strange new hatred from former supporters.

"Meanwhile, John Kelly is being hailed by most conservatives as a heroic champion of moral verities and a brilliantly effective defender of the president of the United States, while liberals — particularly of the piss-from-a-great-height MSNBC variety — are denouncing Kelly as, at best, an enabler of the president and, at worst, a racist.

"I’m disgusted with a great deal of this, but rather than argue against any of that, I want to ask you to entertain a thought experiment. Imagine, if just for a moment, that all of you who fall into one of these camps are entirely wrong.

"What if President Bush was aiming his fire at Democrats and liberals? What if Kelly was actually lecturing his boss?" . . .  Read more.

I'm sick of the media puppets

I continually ask leftists to list Obama's domestic and foreign policy achievements, and I have yet to see a list. They would probably list the Iran deal, the pretend Paris agreement, and Obamacare.  I believe that those are all unmitigated disasters.

Jack Hellner  "I saw Nicole Wallace on The Today Show yesterday morning say it is Trump's fault that the news has been focused on the unverified phone call for five days.

"I have heard Trump demand that reporters cover the massive corruption involved with the Russian uranium deal.  So why do Nicole and other supposed reporters not follow Trump on that?
"What I heard on CBS radio news yesterday morning was "The lead story is the phone call."
"Reporters somehow act as if they have no choice on what to cover – and they all cover exactly the same thing in the same manner.  They are essentially worthless puppets.
"The Bush spokespeople say the speech wasn't about Trump, so why do they all cover it as though it was?  Don't they believe him?  When have the media ever respected what Bush said?
"After watching the FBI, Justice Department, and IRS the last eight years, why would anyone trust them?
"Reporters should be all over Mueller and Comey for being in charge of the FBI during the Russian uranium cover-up, but somehow they don't care.  They are out there every day seeking to destroy Trump, no matter what he does.  It makes me support Trump more and tells me the swamp is huge.
"Thank God, Trump won.  Hillary and Bill would have continued their massive corruption to make them and their friends rich."
"I continually ask leftists to list Obama's domestic and foreign policy achievements, and I have yet to see a list. They would probably list the Iran deal, the pretend Paris agreement, and Obamacare.  I believe that those are all unmitigated disasters.
"When Hillary was running, we repeatedly heard from reporters that she was the most qualified person ever to run, and yet I never saw a list of foreign policy accomplishments of hers, either.  I guess she did get uranium to the Russians."

Does the left really think it can drag General Kelly into its mud?

General John Kelly Son Robert

Monica Showalter  "Maybe I spoke too soon. Far from recognizing the masterly statement of President Trump's chief of staff, Gen. John Kelly, in the wake of the brouhaha over President Trump's condolence call to the wife of a fallen serviceman, the left has doubled down on screeching attacks against Kelly, charging him with ever more outlandish epithets.

"The congresswoman who horned in on the moment and tried to score political hay from it, Rep. Fredericka Wilson of Florida, has started yelling racism, the last refuge of today's scoundrels. She claimed that Kelly's use of the term 'empty barrel' to describe the contents of her unhinged mind was the same as attacking the color of her skin. The White House, she added, was "full of white
supremacists."

"The press, meanwhile has focused on calling Kelly a liar, saying an unearthed tape of Wilson's 2015 speech is proof positive that she never crowed about securing the financing for the building that was named after two fallen FBI agents. Actually, it's not proof - no one knows what she was crowing about in the before and after times of it, off camera to officials such as Kelly. Kelly has not backed down from his charge and just the inside-politics nature of it suggests it was not made up. Who would have thought of such a thing if it hadn't happened. It would be far easier to say Wilson was spitting in the punchbowl if things were going to be made up. But this isn't stopping the media from calling it story-over and demanding Kelly apologize.
"Then there's Team Hillary, creativity-challenged in its Trump rage these days, calling General Kelly "odious," as former Hillary Clinton operative Brian Fallon declared on Twitter.
"The charges are crazier and crazier as the left congeals in its inability to accept the wisdom and realism of Kelly's slam-dunk statement. Instead of moving on, they're like a frenzied hooked fish, thrashing and flopping wildly on a deck, knowing they've been caught.
"It's a waste of time, as the Kelly statement speaks for itself. The Drudge Reporthas scraped the controversy off its website due to lack of reader interest. RealClearPolitics has largely moved the issue over to a side column. Fewer and fewer pieces are now coming out about it now. Game over. Yell as it likes, the left has lost."

Portland Deputies Investigated For… Cooperating With ICE

I’m sure you can find some of your officers who are guilty of actual wrongdoing to investigate rather than bringing down the hammer on the ones who are actually helping to enforce the law.

Hot Air

. . . "Well, I suppose it’s nice that the deputies won’t be losing their jobs over charges of doing their jobs. To fully understand the insanity of this investigation, we need to go back to the origins of the case. It cropped up back in February of this year and it all centers around Sheriff Mike Reese. He’s been, shall we say… rather enthusiastic in his defense of sanctuary city policies in his county. And when the local press turned up some emails indicating that deputies had responded to requests for information from immigration officials, Reese flew into action. (Portland Tribune).
. . .
"So what sort of illegal aliens are we talking about? Apparently, some of them didn’t have any other “serious” charges against them. But in at least one case, that of Julio Montejo-Mex, the suspect had been charged with, “domestic violence crimes, including assault, strangulation and kidnapping.” And the Sheriff was upset that deputies gave some information on this guy to ICE?
"Excuse me, but even if you are the most open borders loving, Trump hating activist on the planet, aren’t those precisely the type of people we’re supposed to prioritize for detention and/or deportation?

Fellow Attorneys Look at Mueller’s Team With Skepticism Over History of Sketchy Tactics

The Sentinel  "Robert Mueller, the Special Counsel in the Trump-Russia collusion probe, has employed a slew of Democrats to investigate, half of whom donated to the Hillary campaign or her Foundation. He has allowed the leaking of information periodically which also happens to harm the Trump administration. Many believe it’s a witch hunt.

"Mueller’s team has most recently been criticized by fellow attorneys for questionable tactics in the past.

"Harvey Silverglate, a criminal defense attorney in Massachusetts, wrote an opinion piece accusing Mueller of once trying to entrap him when Mueller was acting U.S. attorney in Boston.

“I have known Mueller during key moments of his career as a federal prosecutor,” Silverglate wrote for WGBH News. “My experience has taught me to approach whatever he does in the Trump investigation with a requisite degree of skepticism or, at the very least, extreme caution.”

"Mueller tried to set him up, entrap him with drug charges." . . .
