Hillary Clinton Is Exhausted, Everybody

Jim Treacher  "If you're a conservative, a Trump fan*, or pretty much anybody else in 2018 who doesn't like the Democrats or their agenda, you probably get scolded whenever you mock Hillary Clinton. Her voters are still very protective of her: "Why can't you leave her alone? Why are you so obsessed with her?" Well, she probably wouldn't catch so much flak for refusing to go away if she would just, um, go away. But she continues to show up anywhere there's a microphone, an audience full of people who cried on election night, and a check with a bunch of zeroes on it. So she's fair game. If you don't like that, it's not my problem.
"When Democrats lose presidential elections, they have to fill that void in their souls somehow. For example, they give the loser some shiny prizes to compensate for blowing it. When Al Gore was cheated out of the White House lost fair and square, his voters made it up to him by giving him an Oscar, a Nobel Prize, and even a Grammy. (A Grammy. For Al Gore.) Now the Dems are at it again. Hillary didn't get the one prize she wanted, so they keep throwing lesser prizes at her.
"On Friday the American Federation of Teachers gave her their "Women's Rights Award" because "Consolation Prize" would be too on-the-nose. It makes sense that the AFT, an organization that defends and protects incompetent professionals from the consequences of their behavior, is praising Hillary." . . .

San Francisco Begins Registering Illegal Aliens To Vote

Mike Harris
Daily Wire   "The Department of Elections in San Francisco on Monday issued voter registration for illegal aliens to allow them to vote for members of the city's Board of Education in the Nov. 6 election.

"Becoming California's first city to allow non-American citizens to vote in local elections, Supervisor Norman Yee said, "We want to give immigrants the right to vote."

"[For the record, "immigrants" are people who come to America through the legal process, while "illegal aliens" sneak into the country.]*

"In order to vote, the illegal aliens must live in the city, be at least 18 years old and be the "parents, legal guardians or caregivers of children under the age of 19 who also reside in San Francisco," ABC-7 reported." . . .

Smirking Strzok's weakness: Lisa Page

Townhall

. . . As a matter of fact, during her closed-door deposition and questioning, Ms. Page allegedly indicated that the anti-Trump texts between her and Peter Strzok mean "exactly what they say."  This is in vast contrast to Mr. Strzok's testimony, where he claimed that the anti-Trump texts were an expression of "deep patriotism" and not evidence of bias.
Rich Terrell
Elad Hakim  "Peter Strzok was so busy remembering his lies when he testified in front of Congress that he forgot one important piece of information.  His better half, Lisa Page, had not yet testified; she owed him absolutely nothing; and the two were never married!  In other words, there is nothing that he can do to prevent her from testifying against him.
"As he sat in front of Congress with a pompous smirk on his face, Lisa Page was probably salivating – not for him, but for the treasure trove of information she had against Mr. Strzok, Mr. Comey, and some of the other "players" allegedly colluding against President Trump (then candidate Trump).  Obviously, Ms. Page was well aware of where Mr. Strzok's testimony was false.  As a seasoned attorney, she also knew that some of his lies would provide useful ammunition or bargaining chips for her down the road.
"Throughout the course of his testimony, Mr. Strzok reflected a "can't touch me" attitude.  He was pompous, caustic at times, and arrogantly smirking when answering certain questions.  This led to the following heated exchange:" . . .

OUCH! Lisa Page Throws Ex-Lover Peter Strzok Under The Bus [Video]
. . . "Rep. John Ratcliffe revealed that Lisa Page admitted her text messages with Peter Strzok “mean exactly what they say,” contrary to Strzok’s testimony" . . .

Google Hires Former Maxine Waters And Al Green Staffers To Lobby Congress

Weasel Zippers

"Google will need deep pockets.
Google has recruited the #Resistance to lobby Congress giving a good idea of just how seriously the Internet giant takes accusations of anti-conservative bias on their platforms.
The same day that Google heads into the House Judiciary Committee to testify on that issue, Politico reports that Google also signed Oscar Ramirez and Dana Thompson of InSight Public Affairs as lobbyists. That personnel move could mean disturbing policy is around the corner.
Consider their resumes.
Both Ramirez and Thompson worked for the Podesta Group, the lobbying firm named after Tony Podesta, brother of Clinton campaign manager John Podesta and a person of interest to the FBI due to his ties to Ukrainian nationals.
Alarming but understandable, that experience isn’t what should tip off Republicans. The GOP should be more concerned that Ramirez and Thompson worked for two of the most unhinged Democrats currently in Congress.
Quoting the Washington Examiner. . . "Ramirez was the deputy chief of staff of Rep. Al Green, the Texas Democrat currently trying to impeach President Trump. Though the motion to impeach failed spectacularly last December by a vote of 364-58, Green hasn’t given up his crusade.

"Thompson served as legislative director in the office of Rep. Maxine Waters, the California Democrat who thinks the election “was stolen” by Republicans, who wants liberals to mob unsuspecting White House staffers when they step out in public, and who tells her supporters that the GOP is so despicable that “God is on our side.”

"With their most recent hires, it seems clear that Google wants the #Resistance on their side."

Trump endorsement helps Rep. Martha Roby win Alabama runoff

Fox News  "When it comes to President Donald Trump, U.S. Rep. Martha Roby – a Republican now in her fourth term representing Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District – hasn’t always been full-throated in her endorsements.

"In October 2016 Roby called on the former New York real estate developer to quit as the GOP presidential candidate after the leak of the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape, in which Trump boasted about groping women.

"There’s little room for hurt feelings in politics, but people somehow manage to make space for them anyway. So when Roby drew an opponent in the GOP primary who accused her of being insufficiently loyal to President Trump and his agenda, it wasn’t entirely unexpected. What was surprising was that the criticism was coming from Bobby Bright, a former Democratic House member whom Roby defeated to win her seat in 2010.

"For Bright – who voted for liberal California Democrat Nancy Pelosi to be speaker of the House during his single term there – the conversion was enough to get him into a runoff with Roby, whom he held to less than 50 percent of the vote in the June primary election.

"But it wasn’t enough to go the distance in the runoff, when Roby was declared the winner by a margin of better than 2-to-1 Tuesday.

"Solidly conservative Alabama is used to party switchers. The state’s senior senator, Republican Richard Shelby, served as a Democrat in the House and was a Democrat when elected to the Senate in 1986. He switched parties after the 1994 GOP Contract with America landslide." . . .

How Israel’s Mossad pulled off the Iran Nuclear Archives heist

Now even Republicans are joining the left to destroy President Trump. Obama and the Democrats did all they could to prevent Israel from striking at Iran. We must support President Trump so he can stand up to the world criminals.

Legal Insurrection
The coordinated dissemination of these details by Israeli officials to major publications obviously serves some purpose, but what that purpose is is not certain. It could be that Israel wanted the information out on the eve of the Trump-Putin meeting, or to have it public as Israel nears a greater confrontation with Iran in Syria.

"In late April 2018, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed that Israel’s Mossad had captured and removed from Iran a massive volume of secret Iranian nuclear files.

"We covered Netanyahu’s public presentation, Netanyahu Reveals Newly Discovered and Damning Intel on Iran Nuclear Program:" . . .

"The archives showed that Iran systematically had deceived the West about its nuclear program and goals, We can now conclusively say the Iran nuke deal was induced by fraud:
We now can conclusively say the Iran Nuclear Deal was induced by fraud by the Obama administration and the Mullah regime.
As a result, Iran is just biding its time, putting all the pieces into place to launch and deliver a nuclear weapon when the deal sunsets. We know that because of the archives obtained by Mossad.
"But how did Mossad pull it off? We knew that the archives were taken from a warehouse in Tehran, but the details have just been revealed by Israeli officials to several publications. The details provided to the publications may be accurate, or partially accurate, with false information sprinkled among facts. It’s hard to believe the Israelis would have revealed anything the Iranians didn’t already know.
The Mossad agents moving in on a warehouse in a drab commercial district of Tehran knew exactly how much time they had to disable the alarms, break through two doors, cut through dozens of giant safes and get out of the city with a half-ton of secret materials: six hours and 29 minutes.
The morning shift of Iranian guards would arrive around 7 a.m., a year of surveillance of the warehouse by the Israeli spy agency had revealed, and the agents were under orders to leave before 5 a.m. to have enough time to escape. Once the Iranian custodians arrived, it would be instantly clear that someone had stolen much of the country’s clandestine nuclear archive, documenting years of work on atomic weapons, warhead designs and production plans.
The agents arrived that night, Jan. 31, with torches that burned at least 3,600 degrees, hot enough, as they knew from intelligence collected during the planning of the operation, to cut through the 32 Iranian-made safes. But they left many untouched, going first for the ones containing the black binders, which contained the most critical designs. When time was up, they fled for the border, hauling some 50,000 pages and 163 compact discs of memos, videos and plans.
"It is critical that Iran went to great lengths to conceal the archive, and it took a major operation to locate and remove it, the Times relates:
The warehouse the Israelis penetrated was put into use only after the 2015 accord was reached with the United States, European powers, Russia and China. That pact granted broad rights to the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit suspected nuclear sites, including on military bases.

Fighting for the Americans, Captured by the Germans, Freed by the Soviets

How a Jewish-American soldier in WWII survived in a POW camp—and even managed to celebrate Passover under the Nazis’ noses

Milton Feldman  "I was 19 years old, a Brooklyn kid two semesters into college at Penn State, when I was called up for service in the Army in 1943. For a while, I was lucky; I was sent to school for training as an engineer rather than training for the beach landing of D-Day. But in 1944 that program ended, and in December of that year I was shivering in the snow in western Germany, just across the Belgian border

"On December 16, early in the morning, we heard a bombardment, the first real action we’d seen. Orders came back to the cooks: “Make all the food. Get the men up to feed them and do it fast.” We had a banquet. We had French toast and pancakes and eggs. We were going into battle.

"War historians have examined the events that led to the Battle of the Bulge and the miserable days that lay ahead for me and for thousands of my fellow soldiers in the 423rd Regiment, which was part of the 106th Infantry Division. We were unprepared for winter fighting. WWII bombers were mostly effective in clear weather, and low cloud cover had limited our most valuable weapon. And the Allied generals thought the Germans were in retreat, falling back to defend prewar German borders. It didn’t occur to them that the Germans were capable of—or interested in—mounting a major counterattack.

"The shelling we heard was that counterattack on a massive scale. To both the north and south of our position, German troops were advancing incredibly quickly—creating the Bulge. We were being surrounded." . . .

At that same time and place; Jews were not the only people the Nazis hated and murdered.

The Wereth 11, a Little-Known Massacre During the Battle of the Bulge
. . . "The 11 soldiers massacred, known as the “Wereth 11”, were: Curtis Adams of South Carolina; Mager Bradley of Mississippi, George Davis Jr. of Alabama; Thomas Forte of Mississippi; Robert Green of Georgia; James Leatherwood of Mississippi; Nathaniel Moss of Texas; George Motten of Texas; William Pritchett of Alabama; James Stewart of West Virginia; and Due Turner of Arkansas.

“ 'Our country shall be forever grateful to every member of the ‘Greatest Generation’ who contributed to the defeat of fascism in Europe and laid down their lives so that future generations could enjoy the blessing of freedom,” Gerlach said. “Every now and then, it takes history a while to accurately reflect the monumental moments that have helped chart its course. That’s certainly the case with these 11 black soldiers who courageously fought on the front line in the Ardennes against a relentless enemy and eventually made the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow soldiers and our nation." . . .

On those calling for Trump to be impeached for being a "traitor"

Liberals Welcome Kim Jong Un to ‘The Resistance’  "Liberals have welcomed North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to the resistance against President Donald Trump after he released a statement calling Trump a "dotard" and "mentally deranged."

"I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U.S. dotard with fire," Kim said. Dotard is an elderly person, especially one who has become weak or senile.

"Kim added that Trump will "pay dearly" for his remarks before the United Nations on Tuesday warning the U.S. will "totally destroy North Korea" if forced to defend itself or its allies.

"Human rights organizations consider North Korea under Kim's rule to be one of the most repressive states in the word, where much of the population is starving and up to 120,000 individuals languish in political prison camps. Kim also orders violent public executions and sends officials to take teenage girls from North Korean schools to serve as his sex slaves, according to a North Korean defector.

"Still, liberals appeared to welcome the North Korean dictator's comments about Trump, with some suggesting Kim is preferable to the president.

I am a proud American, but I would gladly lose a war against North Korea if it got our President locked in a POW camp.

Democrats Childishly Resist Trump’s North Korea Efforts  by Nicholas Kristof
"Sadly, Democrats in Congress are responding in a quite Trumpian way: They seem more concerned with undermining him than supporting a peace process with North Korea. They are on the same side as National Security Adviser John Bolton, quietly subverting attempts to pursue peace." . . .

Iran’s ‘Supreme Leader’ Khamenei Celebrates Birthday With Genocidal Message for Israel

THE ALGEMEINER

. . . Denouncing US President Donald Trump’s “deal of the century” proposal for an Israeli-Palestinian peace as a “satanic, vicious plot,” Khamenei declared, “The turbulent dream that Al-Quds [Jerusalem] would be given to the Zionists will never come true.”ULY 17, 2018 11:25 AM

Tony Branco
. . . "Khamenei’s birthday rant was excerpted from a speech he delivered in Tehran on Monday to organizers of Iran’s hajj — the annual pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia that faithful Muslims are required to make at least once during their lifetimes." . . .

Tucker Carlson: Mexico has interfered in US elections 'more successfully' than Russia

The Hill

"Fox News host Tucker Carlson said Monday that Mexico had been more successful than Russia in influencing U.S. elections by "packing" the American electorate with its own people.

"Carlson said Russia has, in fact, sought to meddle in U.S. affairs. But other countries, like Mexico, had been more successful in doing so, he said.

" 'I don't think Russia is our close friend or anything like that," Carlson said. "I think of course they try to interfere in our affairs. They have for a long time. Many countries do. Some more successfully than Russia, like Mexico, which is routinely interfering in our elections by packing our electorate."

"Carlson's remarks came after Trump, during a joint news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, cast doubt on the U.S. intelligence community's determinationthat Russia meddled in the 2016 election.

" 'They said they think it's Russia. I have President Putin; he just said it's not Russia," Trump said, adding that he does not "see any reason why it would be" Russia."

Trump-Putin summit: In support of President Trump; Tunnel Wall wants to be the Anti-CNN

Putin Summit May Prove to Be Trump's Finest Hour  ". . . As Walter Russell Mead pointed out, if Trump is in Putin's pocket, he's doing a terrible job of it.
"Barack Obama -- although the New York Times would burn down its own building rather than admit it -- did an abysmal job with Putin and was indeed the one who was truly "owned" by the Russian.  And it wasn't just the silly reset button and the embarrassing video of Barack whispering into Medvedev's ear to tell Vlad he -- Barack -- would be more flexible on missiles after the election.  (What a toady!)  Even worse, in his Chamberlainesque ardor to make a deal with Iran's mullahs, Obama let Putin play him in Syria, agreeing not to honor his redline against Assad's use of chemical weapons in order not to endanger the deal.  Trump never did anything nearly that pathetic.  Actually, he stands up strong." . . .

Correction: Trump Did Not Absolve Russians of Meddling  . . . "Further, he pointed out the obvious truth: the left is using supposed Russian interference as a way to delegitimize Trump, even though no one is saying the Russians actually changed any vote counts.  If it turned out that the Russians didn't impact the results of the election, then the left's main tool to attack Trump would disappear.  Hence, the left is highly incentivized to lie about Russian interference.
"It's important to keep in mind that the man who was heading the CIA when this Russian interference was going on called today for Trump to be impeached. " . . .

Hysteria over Trump-Putin meeting  . . . "Oh, and Obama certainly did not have any problem dealing with Iran, one of the largest sponsors of terrorism on the planet and primary instigator of violence in the Middle East.  Thus, to cry heresy over the fact that our president sat down with a Russian Tsar in an attempt to smooth the diplomatic waters is hypocritical and foolish." . . .

The irrational hysteria over Trump and Putin  I spent a good part of yesterday watching the vast army of those incapable of generating an original thought, namely the majority of talking heads on radio and television as well as politicians in both parties, droning on about the disaster that was the Trump-Putin press conference in Helsinki.  Once the first narrative was proffered by one of this gaggle, the rest dutifully repeated the talking points as if they were preprogrammed ventriloquist dummies.  The bottom line: Trump is a buffoon inalterably subservient to the puppet master; thus, betraying his country.  However, having watched the press conference, I did not come away [with] this inane version of events.

An MSNBC analyst was 'nauseous' about the Trump-Putin meeting. Speaking of nausea... (Not the entire selection from this article)
  • Was she nauseous when Obama said he would be flexible with Russia? More on that here
  • Nauseous when Hillary did the reset button with Russia?
  • Nauseous when Obama laughed at Mitt Romney back in 2012 when he said Putin and Russia were dangerous?
  • Nauseous when Obama reneged on commitment to put in missile shields in Poland and the Czech Republic?
  • . . . Nauseous when Obama refused to enforce his own red line threat in Syria?
  • . . . Nauseous that the DNC and Hillary would produce a fake dossier to get Trump?
  • Nauseous that the Justice Dept used the fake dossier as an excuse to spy on political opponents?
  • Nauseous when Obama administration unmasked people around Trump for their own political purposes?
American Thinker is always a wealth of resistance to the left's demagoguery. TD

If the Trump/Putin Press Conference Shocked You, You're Not Paying Attention  . . . "Their hyperventilations will do little to gin up the backlash they seek. The online taunts were immediate, along the lines of “Hey, MAGA people, where’s that Trump strength you people love so much?' ” . . .

Spare Us The “What Does Putin Have On Trump” Memes
. . . "But having watched the resultant media meltdown over the presser held by Presidents Trump and Putin, I’m seeing plenty of valid criticism, but also some overheated conspiracy theories which should be tossed out before they really catch fire." . . .

Once Again, President Trump Is Magnificently Right—This Time About Russia . . . "Nonetheless, it was America that made a mess of relations with Russia, and President Trump’s tweet this morning was right on the mark. You can usually gauge the merits of this president's public statements by the decibel level of the protests.
"Postscript: To restrain Russia, we should immediately begin an R&D program with Manhattan Project intensity to neutralize Russia's state-of-the-art air defense systems (S-400 and soon the S-500). We know in theory how to do this, for example with drone swarms, but implementation involves non-trivial programs. The Trump administration has failed to address the erosion of America's edge in military technology in a number of fields, and this is one of them."

How's this for role-reversal? Gingrich: Trump's Putin Comments 'the Most Serious Mistake of His Presidency' while Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) defended Trump, stressing that the intelligence community "has way too much power.' "
Would that be called "damning with faint praise"?

What Critics Missed About the Trump-Putin Summit  . . . "As Trump and Putin both frankly acknowledged, there are issues on which they diverge—the fate of Crimea may lead the list—but there are also many areas in which our national interests intersect. It is a mark of the realistic and far-seeing diplomat to seize and build upon the latter while trying to find common ground about the former. This is what both men are trying to do." . . .

Putin’s explosive claim US intelligence helped drop $400,000,000 Russian-linked money into Hillary campaign  "While the mainstream media, Democrats and the Never-Trump crowd clutched their pearls over President Trump and Vladimir Putin’s summit on Monday, a major bombshell was overlooked.
"During the highly publicized joint press conference the Russian President not only called US. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s bluff on the indictment of 12 Russian officials, but blasted former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton for nefarious activities." . . .
Yet today, there is barely a peep in the mainstream media about the Clinton-Fusion-Putin connection. Imagine the outrage that would have ensued if we had learned that Trump had hired an opposition research firm with Putin-linked clients to dig up dirt on Clinton and that senior Russian government officials had been the sources of the unsubstantiated allegations that were leaked to the media. The left would be screaming, “Smoking gun!
Of course the left, when it's Barack Obama, IRS shutting down the opposition? "Never heard of it." Lying about Benghazi? "No no, he didn't lie about Benghazi." He's sending in the FBI to investigate the opposition? "No no, it just looks that way because the FBI was investigating the opposition at Obama's request." So they surround them with this kind of "cone of silence" but they surround Republicans with noise.

Brazile, Rice, Obama Gave Russian Hackers Free Rein

Rich Terrell
Daniel John Sobieski  . . . "Indeed, what the Democrats and Mueller's team seem to be saying is that the Russians interfered in the 2016 election by hacking into the emails of John Podesta and the DNC to reveal how they were interfering in the 2016 elections.  And they forget how former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz tipped the scales for Hillary Clinton over a surging Bernie Sanders.  She interfered in the 2016 election in ways Vladimir Putin couldn't even dream of and arguably changed at least the Democratic Party results and campaign timeline.

"So what the Democrats accused the Russians of doing, Debbie Wasserman Schultz's DNC actively did.  And considering what we have found out about the Pakistanis, not the Russians, who were brought in to run the DNC's I.T. operation, it makes sense why the DNC refused to turn over its servers to *FBI forensic investigators.  What else were they trying to hide?
Robert Mueller's appointment as special counsel of the Russia election interference probe presents an opportunity for the FBI to inspect the Democratic Party computers that U.S. intelligence concluded were penetrated by Kremlin-directed hackers, cybersecurity analysts say. . .
*What would Agent Strzok have done with this information had he been entrusted with it?
