Tucker Carlson’s interview with Tony Bobulinski is must-see TV

 Andrea Widburg

(As an aside, and separate from the Bobulinski interview, a former CIA operations office believes it’s entirely possible that Biden was already doing China’s bidding in 2012, when the Obama administration gave China free rein in the South China Sea.)

"On Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson did something he’d never done before: He dedicated his entire show to a single interview. The person he interviewed was Tony Bobulinski, an experienced international businessman who found himself working with Hunter Biden, James Biden, and others on a deal between the Biden group and CEFC, a Chinese energy company with ties to the Communist government and the military. Bobulinski powerfully confirms that Joe Biden was deeply involved in the transaction, which had its beginnings when Joe was still Vice President.

"Fox News has not yet uploaded (and may never upload) the interview in its entirety. However, the four videos below bring together almost everything from the interview.

"Tucker opened by making the point that he was dedicating his show to the Bobulinski interview because the rest of the American media are assiduously ignoring the story, downplaying it, or claiming it’s a Russian smear. The leader of the Russian smear approach is, naturally, Rep. Adam Schiff, a man who has all the hallmarks of a conscienceless psychopath. Ironically, it was Schiff’s smear about Hunter Biden’s hard drive that led Bobulinski, a Democrat, to go public with his story." . . .

. . . "If we had a decent media, this story would be on every front page and at the top of every news hour. Instead, Bobulinski is trying desperately to get Americans to know that he is not a Russian agent and that Joe Biden was in bed with the Communist Chinese government, starting when he was Vice President and continuing after he left the White House. This screenshot from Memeorandum shows that none of the legacy media outlets are touching the story:

SF DA Chesa Boudin surveys crime victims on how to make life easier for their attackers

Well, there's crime reduction, and then there is crime reduction. TD

Stilton's Place

Monica Showalter  "Chesa Boudin, the radical left-wing San Francisco District Attorney on whose watch San Francisco has become a crime-infested Caracas-like hellhole, is starting to draw criticism from crime victims for his unwillingness to prosecute crimes. And adding insult to injury, he's now using them as fodder for a survey on how to make their attackers' lives better. " . . .

What's 'restorative justice'? Well, rather than put criminals in jail, the victim and criminal are supposed to talk it out, and apologies are not required of the offenders. Which is pretty much why every hoodlum on the street in San Francisco, is ... still on the street. Felonies, not petty theft, are solved through "other actions."

And with few ever prosecuted, cops are refusing to apprehend violent criminals: Why stick your neck out when the DA just throws the cases out or calls you the problem?

That's why young Chesa is busy touting crime in the city being down as a result of his defund-the-police, zero-incarceration, restorative justice philosophy and now trying to snooker the victims into saying they support him." . . .

But not a problem for young Chesa, a lily-white leftist male whose father is in prison for murdering a black cop in the infamous Weathermen Brink's robbery of 1981, who now shows similar disregard for the lives of women. Call it communist family values, and hope to heaven this guy never gets elected to any office beyond San Francisco.

The spirit of Pittsburgh's Tree of Life synagogue remains for all Jews

Ethel C. Fenig   "Yesterday was the second anniversary (on the secular calendar) of the massacre of 11 unarmed congregants at the Tree of Life synagogue by a non Jewish, weapon bearing, white supremacist  in the heavily Jewish neighborhood of Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Based on the Jewish calendar, which, as a lunar calendar, is slightly different, the Jewish anniversary of this event will be next week, Thursday, November 5. .  It was the deadliest attack against Jews in the U.S. in American history.

"The name Tree of Life metaphorically refers that for Jews,  the Torah (loosely, the Jewish "Bible"),  as stated in Proverbs, 18th verse,  "She is a tree of life to those who hold on to her."   At the time the synagogue building also hosted several smaller congregations,  which met separately, in addition to the named one.  Although the building remains closed, the other congregations continue, renting space in other synagogues in the area.

"In accordance with Jewish law and custom, the city's Jewish community commemorated the anniversary in a positive manner
with volunteer service projects and public Torah study sessions.

"But because of the coronavirus, those Torah studies will take place on Zoom. A public commemoration sponsored by the 10.27 Healing Partnership will also be virtual, livestreaming at 7 p.m. on the anniversary.

"May the victims' souls be bound up in the bond of eternal life and their memories be for a blessing. "

Flashback: Remember When Obama Wanted NASA To Make Muslims 'Feel Good'?

Aside from the Muslim controversy, Obama’s handling of NASA was a massive failure in the eyes of many of those who helped to make the United States the world’s leader in space.

Western Journal  . . . "Whatever you think of Trump’s Space Force plan, it makes a heck of a lot more sense than the bizarre space policy put out by his predecessor just over eight years ago.

"Former President Barack Obama told his NASA chief that the agency’s “foremost” goal was to improve relations with the Muslim world and make Muslims “feel good.”

"In an interview with Al-Jazeera on June 30, 2010, Charlie Bolden said that when he took over as NASA administrator, Obama “charged me with three things.”

" 'One,” Bolden said, “he wanted me to help reinspire children to want to get into science and math.

“ 'He wanted me to expand our international relationships."

“ 'And third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math and engineering.”

"Needless to say, the idea that Obama wanted NASA — the illustrious space agency of the greatest nation on earth — to focus its energies on making Muslims “feel good” didn’t go over very well." . . .   Full article...

Barack Obama Reminds Republicans Why They Can't Stand Him

Obama isn’t dumb. He knows what he’s saying are lies in this instance, and he also knows not a single media “fact-checker” will dare call him out for them. Thus are the perks of being a Democrat. One thing is for though. Barack Obama made sure to remind every Republican exactly why they so opposed him for eight years.

RedState  "There’s an odd phenomenon when it comes to politicians who leave office. Typically, due to their exiting of the spotlight, even the most reviled figures end up becoming liked by a large majority of the population. Of course, that depends on the politician deciding to hold up their part of the bargain by fading away gracefully. George W. Bush, once routinely compared to Hitler by the left-wing during his two terms as president, is an example of someone who’s largely done it right and has seen his reputation rebound.

"But Barack Obama is taking a different path, apparently deciding that he wants to remind everyone who once opposed him exactly why they can’t stand him. That happened in the context of a campaign rally for Joe Biden this morning in Florida.

"Here are some of the highlights."

OBAMA: "When Russia puts bounties on the heads of our soldiers in Afghanistan, the commander-in-chief can’t be MIA: missing in action. Joe Biden would never call the men and women of our military suckers or losers."
https://twitter.com/i/status/1321127548177338369

Obama’s delivery is as jarring and annoying as ever. He always comes across like a schoolmarm, chastising those who would dare to disappoint him, and that attitude existed in spades during this speech. But what’s most noteworthy here is just how transparent of a liar he is.

. . . "Both stories he references here have been proven false (see That Bombshell Russian Bounty Story Was Just Officially Shown to Be Garbage). There is no actual intelligence, and the Pentagon has actually come to the opposite conclusion, that the Russians were paying bounties for the deaths of American troops in Afghanistan. The story itself never made any sense anyway, as the Taliban didn’t require motivation to try to kill Americans. Yet, Obama repeats that fake news story without even a hint of care that what he’s saying is blatantly false." . . .

New Trump Ad Reminds Voters the Biden Team Bailed Out Rioters

Katie Pavlich  "The Trump campaign is out with a new campaign ad exposing former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris as enablers of rioting across the country. In fact, the ad features headlines about a rioter bail fund that was promoted on Twitter by Harris and Biden staffers. Worse, Biden staffers took part in the rioting. "

. . . "Riots over the summer were the most expensive in U.S. history, totaling more than $2 billion in damages." . . .

The Media’s Smear Job Campaigning for Joe Biden

"The media must answer for the most egregious smear job in the history of the democratic world."

Conrad Black  "As the national political media have conducted practically the entire Democratic presidential election campaign, the credibility of the media is entirely implicated in the election result. In the latest revelations about the financial activities of the Biden family while presidential candidate Joe Biden was the vice president, the national political media and the principal social media companies have sandbagged another large media company, News Corporation’s New York Post, and have tried to impose online silence on the White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

"The media either had to suppress the story to maintain support for their candidate and continue to make his campaign for him, or give normal attention to such a well-attested story and probably sink his candidacy—effectively their joint candidacy. If they had chosen the second course of action and treated Biden as they would have treated Trump or any previous presidential candidate mired in such allegations, the Biden candidacy almost certainly would be doomed. In going full metal jacket to ignore the story and to maintain Biden in their candidate protection program, the major media and the executives behind them are putting the credibility and ultimately the value of their franchises on the line.

"If Biden is elected, his premeditated lie that he had never discussed his son’s business dealings in Ukraine or other foreign countries will be evident and undeniable, but not significant. There will be no further legal proceedings and while a couple of Senate committees may continue to poke the question, even that will stop if the Democrats emerge from the election with the majority of the Senate. Similarly, the Durham special counsel investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russian collusion allegations, which has been inexcusably prolonged, will also undoubtedly be swept under the carpet no matter what Durham’s findings are. Even though it is now clear that the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, knew when she was circulating the Steele dossier that its chief
source was a Russian government agent, these facts appear not to matter.

"Similarly, while there is a bipartisan consensus about some aspects of the unhealthy influence social media has on public opinion formation in the United States, if Biden wins, the post-electoral examination of the role of social media will be comparatively gentle. That is the least the Democrats could do for these immensely influential executives who have carried water on both shoulders for their unfeasible candidate." . . .

The Shocking Bias and Incompetence of Our Public Schools

Power Line Blog  "With an election impending, the public schools are teaching our children about the issues and the candidates. One of their primary tools is Scholastic Magazine, which I think is read by millions of school children and is the basis for instruction in countless classrooms. A friend alerted me to the fact that the current issue includes profiles of President Trump and Joe Biden and describes their positions on several issues.

"This is what our children are being told about President’s Trump’s position on “Racial Justice”:

The long history of unjust treatment of Black people in America is a major focus of this election.

This past spring, in the wake of police killings of Black Americans, huge protests erupted across the country in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic has seriously underscored the widespread problem of racial inequality in the United States. Data show that people of color are contracting and dying of the virus at the highest rates, largely because of the wealth gap that exists between white people and people of color. Many Americans of all races are now demanding an end to police violence and other injustices toward Black people in this country.

"That’s the preface. This is an issue, according to Scholastic Magazine, on which there is only one possible perspective.

In June, President Trump signed an executive order encouraging police departments to change how they train officers and use force. But overall, he has defended law enforcement…

High stakes: Netanyahu, Israelis closely watching U.S. election with nervous hearts

 Washington Times

President Donald Trump welcomes visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House

. . . "In a country where President Trump is broadly popular, Mr. Netanyahu may be among the foreign leaders with the most at stake — and the most to lose — in U.S. elections next week.

"Mr. Trump’s image in Israel got another boost Friday when Sudan became the third Arab country in two months to announce plans to move to normalize relations with Israel, the latest fruit of U.S. diplomacy aimed at ending Israel’s isolation in the region and building up a coalition to confront strategic foe Iran.

"By moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, renouncing the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and radically scaling back U.S. opposition to Israeli settlements in Palestinian-claimed land, the Trump administration has forged a strong bond with Mr. Netanyahu, who had an often prickly relationship with President Obama." . . ."

Democrats’ Contempt for the Will of the Voters

 The American Spectator

Their attacks on Trump are expressions of their animosity toward the electorate.

"The most important passage in George Orwell’s iconic and prescient novel 1984 is O’Brien’s chilling explanation to protagonist Winston Smith concerning the Party’s motives: “We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power.” It is no exaggeration to say this has become the raison d’être of the Democratic Party. Consequently, it’s imperative to remember that the electorate itself is the true target of Democratic attacks on President Trump. This is why its current presidential nominee calls his supporters “Chumps.” It is why the failed 2016 Democratic nominee recently described them as “cowards and spineless enablers.”

The Democratic Party and the ruling class it represents have nothing but contempt for the electorate, and their attempts to get rid of Trump are about nothing more than disfranchising the “chumps” who voted for him.

"Trump is the voice of a nationwide voter rebellion against the ruling class, and the Democrats know the revolt can’t be crushed until he is silenced. They want the proles to return to our roles as obedient servants of Beltway bureaucrats and politicians. This is what they mean by “returning to normalcy.” But they know this will never happen as long as Trump is in a position to implement policies and appoint officials favored by the despised voters. Even as this is being written, the Democrats are decrying the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, despite broad public approval of her record. As Majority Leader Mitch McConnell phrased it on the floor of the Senate:"  . . .

. . . "Or, as Orwell phrased it in 1984, “No one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end.… The object of power is power.” If it seems farfetched that even the Democrats would govern in such a cynical fashion, consider that less than a year ago, they impeached the president pursuant to ridiculous charges — despite the consistent failure of the Democrats to convince a majority of voters that such drastic action was appropriate. Or, if you’re a real masochist, think about the two-year Mueller investigation into an implausible conspiracy theory and its embarrassing collapse. Both of these burlesques were clear abuses of power without regard to the will of the electorate."

The Only Middle Finger Available: If Trump wins, it will be as a gigantic rude gesture to the cultural Left.

Did you destroy historical monuments? Burn private businesses and wreck homes? Ambush police cars and beat up pro-Trump people? Then this is for you.

Rich Lowry  "If Donald Trump wins a second term, it will be an unmistakable countercultural statement in a year when progressives have otherwise worked their will across the culture.

"After months and months of statues toppling and riots in American cities and a crime wave and woke virtue-signaling from professional sports leagues and absurd firings and cancellations, the year would end with a stunning, stark rebuke of all of that.

"If Trump manages to pull off an upset in 2020, it will be as a gigantic rude gesture directed at the commanding heights of American culture.

"It would be hard to understand a Trump victory outside this context.

"It’s easy to see what might be the reasons for a Biden victory, which seems much more likely at this point: a massive turnout among Democrats who fear and loathe Trump; a pandemic that still isn’t under control; a lead on almost every issue, especially on health care; enough appeal in the Midwest and among a few erstwhile Trump voters; a promise of a return to normality." . . .

. . . "He’s the vessel for registering opposition to everything from the 1619 Project to social media’s attempted suppression of the Hunter Biden story.

"To put it in blunt terms, for many people, he’s the only middle finger available — to brandish against the people who’ve assumed they have the whip hand in American culture.

"This may not be a very good reason to vote for a president, and it doesn’t excuse Trump’s abysmal conduct and maladministration.

"If Trump wins, though, this cultural element will be the subtext, and maybe just the text — he’d be, even more so than now, the president as affront, and he would be felt as such by all the woke progressives and fellow travelers who are accustomed to believing that they represent a steamroller of history. It may well be that Biden will get over the top by implicitly promising a diminution in cultural strife, by which he presumably means a slower pace of woke cultural change (with the Left considerably less agitated than it has been in the Trump years)." . . .

Democrats go ballistic after Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation

Chuck Schumer, in a surge of hysteria and stupidity, ranted that the confirmation was a “sordid chapter” in American history and “one of the darkest days in the 231-year history of the United States Senate.” And then, in a beautiful self-own from a man who supports unlimited abortion, he said, “Generations yet unborn will suffer the consequences of this nomination.” Perhaps, but with a Barrett court, there’s a possibility that, eventually, they will be born.

Democrats go ballistic after Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation   "Amy Coney Barrett’s ascension to the Supreme Court marks the first time in 81 years that the Republicans will have a majority on the Supreme Court. The Democrats, rather than accepting gracefully that the regularly-applied constitutional rules finally stopped favoring them, have responded with a complete meltdown. They’ve resorted to apocalyptic predictions, hysterical rants, and threats, lots and lots of threats. The last time the Democrats behaved this disgracefully was in 1860, a temper tantrum that ended in a Civil War that left over 650,000 Americans dead.

Der Schumerglower

"Before describing the Democrats’ psychological collapse, it’s essential to understand the Barrett confirmation was constitutionally correct and had historical precedent. The Constitution states that the president shall nominate candidates for the Supreme Court, and the Senate shall confirm them.

"Seating Supreme Court justices used to be a fairly mechanical process. However, as the left has shifted its efforts from convincing voters to support their policies to placing leftist partisans on the Supreme Court who need no convincing, the process has become increasingly fraught. While Republicans have routinely accorded a Democrat president’s nominees the courtesy of voting for them if they appeared competent, Democrats have imposed various litmus tests and, if those tests seemed futile, accused them of sexual assault." . . .

Most important of all:  . . . "This is the left: As long as they’re winning under the rules, they’ll

Democrat Tlaib

play by the rules. But once they lose, they’ll change the rules, even if they have to burn it all down to make it happen.

"If you would prefer not to see Democrats burn everything down in their pursuit of total power, make sure you vote. And while I don’t usually advocate early voting (because, as Biden voters have discovered, sometimes you learn interesting things before election day), you won’t learn anything new about Trump, who’s been turned inside out in the past four years. Lines will be heinous on election day, so get your vote in sooner, rather than later (or not at all)."

From Sunday:  Fox News "The Senate is set to vote on Monday night to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court in a move that will make the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals judge and Notre Dame law professor the third appointment to the high court by President Trump, solidifying his administration's legacy even further just a week before Election Day as he seeks a second term.

" The last president to nominate three new justices to the Supreme Court was Ronald Reagan. "Monday's vote marks the end of a confirmation process that lasted less than 40 days from when late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died to when her successor, Barrett, will be confirmed. During that time Democrats objected loudly to the speed and timing of the confirmation just before an election. Meanwhile, Republicans have touted Barrett's record as an academic and a judge as impeccable -- and her "Well Qualified" rating from the American Bar Association (ABA) whose representatives relayed descriptions of her as "brilliant" and an "intellectual giant."
"Barrett is expected to be sworn in by Justice Clarence Thomas at the White House on Monday night." . . .
