Biden’s Budget Proves What An Epic Disaster He’s Been

Issues & Insights (issuesinsights.com)  "President Joe Biden brags that the budget he released on Monday would cut the deficit by $3 trillion, even while offering truckloads of new goodies to Americans.

"That will get headlines.

"What won’t make the news is the fact that his Fiscal 2025 budget provides clear and incontrovertible evidence that he has caused a fiscal and economic disaster of epic proportions.

" 'How do we know this? Because buried in the back of the annual budget document is a table called “Baseline by Category.” This is a forecast of spending, revenues, and deficits that would result if the government is left on autopilot.

"So, we dug out Biden’s first budget — released in early 2021 — to see what the administration said would happen if Biden did nothing. In other words, what would spending, revenues and deficits look like if all of President Donald Trump’s policies remained in effect. Let’s call this the Trump baseline.

"Then we compared that with the latest “Baseline” projection in Biden’s new budget — which assumes that all of Biden’s current policies remain in effect for the foreseeable future. We will call this the Biden baseline.

"What did we find?

In his latest budget, Biden says that deficits over the next five years will total $9 trillion. Again, that’s assuming that the government is left on autopilot over that time. The Biden baseline puts us on course to borrow a total of $9 trillion from 2025 through 2029.

"But the Trump baseline would have produced deficits over these same years of $6.1 trillion.

"As a result, we now know that Biden’s policies have boosted projected deficits by $2.9 trillion from 2025 to 2029.

"How is that possible, when Biden claims that he’s cut the deficit by more than any president in history?

"Let’s look at the details. " . . .

$7.3 Trillion Biden Budget Will Be DOA in Republican House – RedState

"Remember when the United States taxed and spent its way out of debt and into prosperity?

Me neither. But that's what the Biden administration wants to try.

Earlier on Monday, President Joe Biden rolled out his massive, treasury-busting budget proposal, which includes, among other wackadoodle items, yet another attempt to tax the nation into prosperity. Fortunately, House Republicans are already preparing to round-file the whole thing.

Chris Cuomo and Tucker Carlson Engage in Thought-Provoking Dialogue on Media Bias, Firing, January 6 Tapes, and Others (VIDEO)

The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hᴏft

Sorry, but I cannot take Cuomo seriously as a person and certainly not a "journalist". TD

. . .The episode, which aired on Monday on X, saw Cuomo and Carlson discussing their respective departures from their previous networks, the controversial January 6 tapes, and Carlson’s notable interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The conversation between Cuomo and Carlson offered viewers a rare glimpse into the minds of two influential media personalities, as they shared their perspectives on the ethical dilemmas facing journalists today. Touching on topics such as journalistic integrity, media bias, and the challenges of navigating a rapidly evolving news environment.

" 'Why is Chris Cuomo sitting in my living room? Well, I’ve never met Chris Cuomo before today. And, of course, for years, I was incredibly mean to Chris Cuomo on TV,” said Tucker.

“ 'Why? I can’t really say now, but I’ll say this: He was one of the very first people to call me, completely out of the blue. I have no idea how he got my number after I left my job last spring. And that began a series of conversations, very long conversations, in which I discovered that Chris Cuomo is a really interesting person. [Although] we disagree on some things, we don’t disagree on everything at all.”

“ 'And I thought, “Wow, I wonder how many other people like Chris Cuomo are out there. People I have dismissed or mocked because we disagreed on some things, who actually, if you got to know them, you might learn something.” So, that might be a useful exercise. And so, with that, a conversation with Chris Cuomo begins.”

"In his show on News Nation, Cuomo explained why he spoke to Tucker Carlson.

“ 'The big question is, why now? I think the fact that so many people are asking is proof of the problem that confronts us. Why even ask why? Why wouldn’t conversation be natural? The answer is simple here, because their way isn’t working. The way we’re conducting our politics and our media is not working. It’s not helping. In fact, it’s hurting us. It’s driving us apart,” said Cuomo.

"This gesture by Tucker Carlson received praise online, with comments such as, “Never thought Tucker would interview him. Very interesting. That’s why Tucker is reputable. He’s willing to interview with people he might disagree with. We could all learn from that.”

"Another user said, “Good interview, but it doesn’t change my opinion of the arrogant snake the least bit! [Cuomo] spread too many lies and pure BS!' ” . . .

Lest you think Oct 7 was a one-off, remember the Palestinian slaughter of the Fogel Family

Since Oct 7, we now realize the 2011 murderers of this family did it with glee! Picture the murderers calling their mothers and proudly telling them the details of how they killed sleeping family members, of the parents rejoicing with pride at their son's actions.

Itamar massacre: Fogel family butchered while sleeping; 2011

"The girl screamed and cried, and my daughter who arrived at the house tried to calm her down and hug her," he said. "We saw the bodies in the rooms. I scanned the house in order to see that there was no terrorist there, and waited for the security forces to arrive on the scene. The sight in the house was shocking."

"It's a cold-blooded massacre of innocent children and parents," the prime minister said. "I, and the entire nation of Israel, embrace you and the three grandchildren who survived the horror. I promise to do everything we can in order to assist you at these terrible times."

The Fogel family lived in Gush Katif in the past, and following Israel's disengagement from the Gaza Strip moved to Ariel. Recently, the family moved to Itamar, where it built a house.

'Boy crying near parents' body'

"Rabbi Yaakov Cohen, a neighbor who discovered the bodies, said that the Fogel's 12-year-old daughter knocked on his door around 12:45 am Saturday. She said that no one opened the door at her home, and that there are muddy footprints at the entrance.

"I took my weapon and we went up to the back window of the house, where we saw one of the surviving children," Cohen said. "He was sitting in the center of the living room, where there was no sign of blood, only mud."

"They then asked the boy to open the front door.

"The daughter went into one of the rooms, and saw the horror before I did," Cohen said. "I entered and saw that another boy survived, a two-year-old. He was lying next to his bleeding parents, shaking them with his hands and trying to get them to wake them up, while crying." . . .

Democrats! Pay attention!

Sen. Bill Hagerty: Impact of illegals on the concentration of political power equals at least 13 new congressional seats

Stewardship and preservation of the nation passed on to us by our founders means nothing to Democrats; only power. But then, why not? Doesn't a shared culture give a foundation to a nation? What do the signers of the Declaration of Independence mean to those in Rashida Tlaib's district? Ilhan Omar's? Those who elected AOC and all districts newly empowered by massive influxes of Biden border-crossers? TD

Cartoons - American Thinker

Olivia Murray - American Thinker  "Tennessee’s Senator Bill Hagerty recently went on Fox News for a segment with Maria Bartiromo, and discussed an oft-neglected topic regarding the impact of millions of illegal foreigners in, and still entering, America:

Not Joe's age but his mental capacity

‘A nightmare’: Special counsel’s assessment of Biden’s mental fitness triggers Democratic panic (nbcnews.com)   . . ."Polling has long shown that age looms as Biden’s greatest liability in his expected rematch with Trump. A January poll by NBC News found that 76% of voters have major or moderate concerns about Biden’s mental and physical health.

“ 'It’s been a problem since way before this ever happened,” said a longtime Democratic operative who noted that when focus groups are asked to apply one word to Biden, it is often “old.”

"Just this week, Biden twice referred to conversations he’s had as president with foreign leaders who’ve long since died. In his remarks Thursday night defending his competency, while talking about the war in Gaza, he referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi as being the head of Mexico. White House press aides have downplayed such lapses as the sort of mistake anyone in public life can make.

"The Hur report strips away the defenses that Biden’s press operation has used to protect him and raises fresh doubts about whether Biden is up to the rigors of the presidency, Democratic strategists said in interviews." . . .

Biden's Mental State: What the Experts Are Saying | Psychology Today      . . ."Griebe and Immelman believe his gregarious and accommodating personality style may make Biden vulnerable to “manipulation by pressure groups” and may make negotiations with world leaders difficult. In some ways, the group’s evaluation of Biden resembles their past findings about Barack Obama, whom they found also showed accommodating traits." . . .

A last look at the SOTU - Richard Jack Rail   . . ."And you thought he was hitting the hay early. Still and all, Joe without his 6-foot length of chain – I’d be betting on Trump."

They won’t replace Biden - Pete Colan   "The good news is that after his SOTU, it appears Biden is solidly on the ticket for 2024. Breitbart reports that “President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign raised a record-breaking $10 million in the day following his State of the Union speech on Thursday, his team told NBC News.”

"Many have posited that due to his unpopularity and failing in the polls, he would likely be replaced this year by Newsom, Whitmer, or even Michelle Obama. If that happened, we’d have more to worry about against a candidate that might just be electable by even moderate Democrat standards. However, with this kind of “record-breaking” fundraising just based on his SOTU performance, those prospects are getting dimmer." . . .

Ted Cruz demands apologies from Jen Psaki, Rachel Maddow for mocking voters' concerns about migrants

Fox News

MSNBC's Super Tuesday panel draws backlash for laughing off Virginia exit polls on immigration

"Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, called on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow and Jen Psaki to apologize after the pair mocked voters for being concerned about the border crisis as they cast their ballots during Super Tuesday elections.

Cruz demanded they apologize during "The Faulkner Focus" on Thursday, arguing the controversial panel discussion is indicative how "out of touch" the mainstream media is with American voters.

" 'I mentioned Jeremy Caceres a second ago. He was murdered about 30 miles away from Jen Psaki's $1.7 million home in Arlington, Virginia, but from her perspective, that apparently is a laughing matter," Cruz told Harris Faulkner on Thursday.

" 'She doesn't understand why families are concerned when their children are being murdered by illegal aliens," he continued.

" 'Well, you know what? Across the country, a whole lot of families understand, and we want to protect our families. We want to support law enforcement and secure the border, and I think that clip is emblematic of how out of touch the corporate media is… they're sitting there laughing at who are these peasants to be worried about this? It's why so many people are understandably upset."

Schiff Comment About Intel Community Withholding Things From Trump Is Despicable, Could Endanger Us All

Nick Arama – RedState   "There are probably few people I would find more odious than the execrable Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and I would really like it if Steve Garvey were to blow Schiff away in the Senate race in California.

"The disgraced former Intelligence Committee member was on "Meet the Press" on Sunday when he made some concerning remarks about former President Donald Trump and the intelligence community.

"Kristen Welker asked him about the fact that U.S. intelligence officials are planning to provide briefings for Trump once he officially secures the Republican nomination for president. That is expected to happen this month. Welker asked if Schiff as the "former Chair of the House Intelligence Committee" thought it was appropriate for Trump to receive intelligence briefings given he's been charged over his handling of classified documents." . . .

"During the interview, Schiff also said "Knowing the intelligence community as I do..." Either he's stupid or he's been so emboldened by what he's gotten away with, he doesn't know he shouldn't be tipping his hand at this point and saying that about the IC. He now should be asked who do you know who would do this? It serves as a reminder that we need to be concerned about the IC going forward.

"What's also funny here is that Welker asks this question of Schiff who is incredibly untrustworthy. He was kicked off the House Intelligence Committee, according to then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, because he "lied to the American public."

Netanyahu says Israel will defy Biden's 'red line' on Rafah

"They understand that, and even agree with it quietly," he said. "They understand Hamas is part of the Iranian terror axis." Rafah is where four Hamas battalions are located, according to The Jersualem Post

Madeleine Hubbard   "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he plans on continuing Israel's operation in the Gaza Strip by entering Rafah, which President Joe Biden called his "red line" in the Israel-Hamas War.

"Biden has been sending humanitarian aid to Gaza, where six Americans have been held hostage since Oct. 7, 2023, as he has been increasing pressure on Israel to protect Gazans. Tensions most recently flared between the two global leaders during Biden's MSNBC interview that aired Saturday.

" 'What is your red line with Prime Minister Netanyahu? Do you have a red line?" host Jonathan Capehart asked Biden. "For instance, would invasion of Rafah, which you have urged him not to do, would that be a red line?"

" 'It is a red line, but I'm never gonna leave Israel," Biden responded. "The defense of Israel is still critical, so there's no redline I'm going to cut off all weapons so I don't have the iron dome to protect them, but there's redlines that if he crosses – you cannot have 30,000 more Palestinians dead as a consequence of going after Hamas."

"Biden was referring to the death toll promulgated by the Gaza Health Ministry of more than 30,000 killed in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, although the Hamas-run agency does not distinguish between combatant and civilian casualties. Israel launched an operation against Hamas after the Oct. 7 attacks that left about 1,200 people dead in Israel and resulted in the kidnappings of 250 others as approximately 130 remain captive.

Netanyahu, however, rebuffed Biden's criticism on Sunday when he was asked about whether Israeli forces would enter Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

" 'We'll go there. We're not going to leave them. You know, I have a red line. You know what the red line is? That October 7 doesn't happen again. Never happens again," Netanyahu said, according to Politico.

"Netanyahu also said several Arab leaders, whom he did not name, tacitly supported his efforts to oust Hamas from power in the strip." . . .

“[Israelis] also support my position that says that we should resoundingly reject the attempt to ram down our throats a Palestinian state,” Netanyahu said. - JNS.org   Wouldn't a Palestinian state be something like having Gaza as a neighbor? How has that worked out for us all recently? Joe Biden, a man habitually wrong on world affairs seems to think this is the way to go and would have the support of hordes of mal-educated products of American education behind him. The Tunnel Dweller.

The United States and the international community continue to push Israel to create a Palestinian state in the Gaza Strip when the war is over, but as I demonstrate on In Focus, the parties involved don’t want it. The Palestinians want to annihilate Israel and Israel wants to continue existing.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough Went Into Full North Korea Mode Defending Joe Biden (townhall.com)

. . ."I don’t even think the politburo in Pyongyang would go this far, and they have North Koreans thinking Kim Jong Un can hear their thoughts. I wonder if Scarborough still thinks Biden is at his best after that disastrous State of the Union, where his Irish fury did bubble up, and he ranted like a crazy man. The temper never left, and it’s at a point in the White House where staffers reportedly have a buddy system when an aide is set to get his or her rear end chewed out by the cantankerous, half-braindead president who can’t remember when his son died." . . .   Video

If Churchill had Biden as an ally in 1940, he and his war cabinet would all have been slain with a pro-Nazi government  ruling the UK. FDNY Denies 'Hunting' Firefighters Who Booed Attorney General Letitia James

FDNY boss hunts down staffers who booed NY AG Letitia James, cheered for Trump at promotion ceremony    "The FDNY pushed back on a report that it was "hunting" down firefighters and staffers who booed New York Attorney General Letitia James and shouted, "Trump! Trump! Trump!" during a promotion ceremony last week, saying that it is simply looking into those who broke department regulations.

"Nobody is hunting anyone down," FDNY spokesman Jim Long told Fox News Digital in an email on Sunday morning. "We’re looking into those who clearly broke department regulations. It has nothing to do with politics. It’s about professionalism at an official event held in a house of worship."

The New York Post first reported that FDNY Chief of Department John Hodgens wrote in an email to department brass that the FDNY’s Bureau of Investigation and Trials was investigating the incident and "will figure out who those members are." . . .

The Biden administration is trying to topple Netanyahu’s government

"One Israeli expert frequently consulted by American officials says, “I have been asked by a serious administration figure what it is that will force the Netanyahu coalition to collapse. They were interested in the mechanics, what can we demand which will collapse his coalition.' ” A.W.

This makes one ashamed to be an American!

The Biden administration is trying to topple Netanyahu’s government - Andrea Widburg    "Biden has never made a secret of his hatred for Bibi Netanyahu (and it’s easy to see why a stupid, draft-dodging man would hate an intelligent, accomplished warrior). Still, he’s now taking that hatred to new levels as he actively works to interfere in Israeli politics. For decades, leftists told us that it was morally wrong to try to affect a nation’s internal politics, but that doesn’t apply when the nation is a liberal democratic ally…and the world’s only Jewish state.

"The New York Intelligencer reported on sources saying that Biden intends to overthrow Netanyahu, the democratically elected leader of a U.S. ally (emphasis mine):

Weeks before “uncommitted” voters sent a message to Joe Biden that he needs to bring an end to Israel’s war in Gaza or risk losing reelection, the president had evidently decided — to borrow another American neologism — to consciously uncouple from Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s recalcitrant prime minister.

In the past month, he has, through a series of relatively quiet but closely linked and deliberate moves, sought to marginalize Bibi, as Netanyahu is ubiquitously known, internationally and at home. The change spilled out publicly on Thursday night following the State of the Union address, when Biden announced he ordered the U.S. military to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza via a sea pier. After the speech, Biden was stopped by Senator Michael Bennet of Colorado, who told him to “keep pushing” Israel’s leader. Smiling, Biden said, “I told him, ‘Bibi,’— don’t repeat this— ‘you & I are going to have a come to Jesus moment.” Hidden behind Secretary of State Antony Blinken, a presidential aide whispered, “Sir, you’re on a hot mic,” to which a buoyant Biden replied, “I’m on a hot mic here. Good. That’s good.” . . .

360 degrees of hostility: The Biden administration and Israel

  CarolineGlick.com

At the height of Biden’s emotional visit, he gave a speech to the people of Israel: “I come to Israel with a single message. You are not alone. You are not alone. As long as the United States stands—and we will stand forever—we will not let you ever be alone.” For the overwhelming majority of Israelis, Biden’s declaration sounded like a bankable guarantee. "The Mothers of IDF Soldiers group led a demonstration last week of army mothers, reservists in the Israel Defense Forces, bereaved families and other concerned citizens outside the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. They demanded that President Joe Biden stop leveraging power to force Israel to resupply Hamas.

"The following day, hundreds of Israelis, including parents of soldiers, families of hostages and terror victims gathered outside Ashdod Port. For hours, they blocked trucks laden with supplies for Gaza from exiting the port. Activists have been blocking trucks from entering Gaza via the Kerem Shalom and Nitzana border crossings for more than two weeks.

Speaking to the crowd in the southern Israeli city of Ashdod, Shifra Shahar, who runs a nonprofit organization that cares for the needs of soldiers, addressed her remarks to Israel’s leaders:

“Government of Israel, defense minister, IDF chief of staff, get ahold of yourselves!

“We had elections last year. I don’t recall voting for [U.S. Secretary of State Antony] Blinken! Blinken is sitting in the war cabinet and protecting the interests of my enemy. … We have sons in Gaza. We have sons fighting. The entry of the trucks endangers them, prolongs the war, increases the number of casualties and delays the return of the hostages!

“They tell me, ‘There are constraints.’ He who is constrained doesn’t win the war.

“They tell me, ‘The Americans are threatening not to provide us with ammunition.’

“To this, I say, if we were besieging them, we wouldn’t need ammunition! The war would end. They’d be screaming for help, returning the hostages and the war would end!”

"The rising expressions of rage at the Biden administration from ordinary citizens are a testament to the shock and anger Israelis feel at what they perceive as a betrayal of Israel’s most basic interests by Biden and his top advisers.

"Three and a half months ago, when Biden came to Israel, most Israelis couldn’t imagine his warm embrace would transform into a torrent of hostile actions." . . .
