to divest completely from weapons manufacturers, firms, academic programs, corporations, and all other institutions that aid the ongoing illegal occupation of Palestine and the genocide of Palestinians, including withdrawing investments in securities, endowments, mutual funds, and other monetary instruments that provide material assistance to the commission or maintenance of flagrant violations of international law and human rights against Palestinians;

"Two members of the law school student government reportedly resigned in protest over the resolution.

"Harvard really doesn’t need this now. The law student government’s move comes smack in the middle of a federal probe into pervasive antisemitism at the university. And it follows former President Claudine Gay’s abysmal performance last December at the congressional antisemitism hearings, followed by her resignation over plagiarism charges. The scandals are taking their toll on applications for admission to the school, which have dropped markedly during this time.

Even if Merkley were not to choose one of the holiest days of the Christian calendar to go after Israel, and that's a pretty big "if," the contrast between celebrating Easter in a meaningful way and catering to the far-left, is very telling about the state of the Democratic Party's priorities.

He then denied he ever did so, all while the White House and Biden's fellow Democrats lied and gaslit on the issue. Perhaps the worst Easter response came from Sen. But then, I started reading the responses. It is so incredibly relieving and heartwarming to see the response not of some government idiot-but of the American people. Don't forget that this is the president who has regularly otherized and insulted Republicans and conservative Christians who aren't down with his priorities. This is the administration that has weaponized the bureaucracy against pro-lifers and conservative Catholics as well as made repeated attempts to quell free speech. But it's the transgender crowd that Biden wants to assure that he is protecting.

"By now, we’re all aware that the White House managed to commit the most sacrilegious act imaginable — or at least made the biggest possible slap in the faces of Christians — by emphasizing “Transgender Day of Visibility” over Easter. While the holiday honoring our secular state religion of transgenderism is fixed on March 31, it could have and rightly should have taken a backseat to the moveable feast that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus.

"Instead, Joe Biden, his handlers, and the rest of his administration chose to double down on honoring a tiny minority of transgender Americans over the millions of Christians who celebrate Easter Sunday. The White House statement on Easter was only 94 words, while the proclamation of “Transgender Day of Visibility” clocked in at a whopping 635 words. On the president’s X/Twitter account, the “Transgender Day of Visibility” tweet was twice as long (45 words) as the Easter tweet (20 words).
