"Well, wonder no longer, for we at the Babylon Bee have consulted the experts to determine the clearest signs of whether or not someone is garbage. Do you fit any of them? Take a look:

1. You've had fewer than 11 Covid booster shots: Wow. You're trash.

2. You've never burned an American flag: Do you even love democracy, trash-boy?

3. You do this weird thing where you pay for merchandise before leaving the store with it: What sort of festering bag of refuse does this?

4. You don't try to load a shotgun through its butt during a photo-op: You disgusting, rancid load of slop.

5. Your wife doesn't have a boyfriend: Gross. How old-fashioned of you.

6. Your husband doesn't have a boyfriend: Classic garbage move.

7. You came to life when radioactive ooze was dumped on an old bag of garbage and you crawled your way out of the dumpster and are now determined to kill whoever made you a terrible reality: Wow. Literal garbage.

Why does the political establishment hate Trump?

"The GOP-lead House Education and Workforce Committee, in a 325-page report, contended the New York Democrat advised then-university president Minouche Shafik that the school would be spared any scrutiny by Democrats, explaining that the elite university’s “political problems are really only among Republicans.”

"His staff then encouraged Columbia administrators that the “best strategy is to keep heads down,” according to the report.

"Mark Cuban's comments calling Trump's female supporters weak and stupid didn't sit well with a lot of people outside the Blue bubble, where this sentiment is universally held. Mark Cuban's comments would never have landed well, but he would likely have been extended some grace but for the fact that everybody already knows that the Democrats have contempt for anybody not in their club. 

"Cuban's comments were, let's be fair, intended as a slam on Trump, implying that he was not man enough to be around strong women. On its face this is clearly absurd; Trump's key advisors were as often as not women, and early in his administration, there was even a fair amount of reporting on this fact. Kellyanne Conway was one of the most influential people in America and widely credited for getting Trump across the finish line in 2016, and Trump relies on women in key positions more than most--without bowing to identity politics.

It’s no surprise that the Institute of Energy Research has compiled 250 ways Harris-Biden and its allies, beginning on Jan. 20, 2021, have pursued an outright war on the oil and gas industries that has included numerous restrictions and outright bans on new production.

"ZERO. It was one of six numbers listed by your correspondent last week that made up the case against Kamala Harris. It stood for Net Zero, a Harris-Biden administration commitment of which her Veepness took personal ownership, to wit:

“ 'You know, when President Biden and I took office, we set an ambitious goal.  Yes, people said, ‘That can’t be done.’ We said, ‘Well, you know what? We believe in dreaming with ambition and then seeing it through.’ And so, we set an ambitious goal … to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.”

• A similar “whole-of-government” approach to mitigating “climate-related financial risk” – aimed at drying up investment in the sector
• “(R)edirecting resources toward economy-wide decarbonization” as part of achieving “net-zero global emissions by mid-century” – essentially, an end not only to fracking but to all production, transportation and use of oil and gas worldwide (except for the Chinese).

"In addition, the Veep has boasted of her tie-breaking vote on the $1-trillion-plus Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). That spending orgy larded an estimated $18.5 billion in taxes on oil and gas to be diverted into renewable energy boondoggles to achieve “metrics” that, per the Veep, “include holding ourselves to deadlines around time.” (Is there any other kind of deadline?) 

"What “metrics” and “deadlines” might those be? Per an Energy Department fact sheet, the IRA is about “putting the United States on a pathway to achieving the Biden-Harris administration’s climate goals, including a net-zero economy by 2050.” (Emphasis added.)

"Let’s take a gander at that there “pathway,” contained in a document appropriately entitled “Long-Term Strategy of the United States: Pathways to Net-Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2050” — America’s so-called “Nationally Determined Contribution” mandated under the Paris climate accords. " . . .

"Obama spent eight years in office tearing up American race relations, which we stupidly assumed had been solved when citizens of every race voted for him as president. But no: that was the start of a long national backslide — thanks to Obama himself.

"As a loyal Alinskyite, Obama knew that division and full-blown race riots were the tried-and-true path to electoral victory for the Left, and he did not disappoint. He reignited animosities that had largely been sublimated, turned illegal immigration into a machete to use against American citizens’ sovereign rights, and, perhaps most cruelly, weaponized the federal government more brazenly against his political opponents than any previous president.

"This election, the stakes are high for Obama: If Kamala loses, it will be the end of his pernicious shadow presidency once and for all.

"Even worse, Democrats may finally realize who the prime architect of the catastrophe is: Obama himself. For he is the key figure responsible for the current predicament the Democrats find themselves in, hamstrung with a sputtering candidate and her bumbling running mate, handpicked for her by Eric Holder, longtime Obama confidant.

American Jews must rethink their relationship with the Democratic Party

Democratic students hold positions that are at odds with the views of many Jews, and these voices are dominant and well-organized among students on campus. There is no question that they will be powerful political actors in the years to come and that they hold little support for Israel.

If the election were held today, the poll shows 67% of American Jewish voters would vote for Harris, and 31% would cast a ballot for former President Donald Trump. 

"These numbers are part of a larger trend. Jewish support for Democrats has declined since 1992, when 80% of Jewish voters supported former President Bill Clinton.

"Add into the mix the post-Oct. 7 response from the Left, and it is no surprise that large numbers of American Jews simply cannot accept the Democrats’ agenda as the nation heads into the November election. 

"And yet, even as the level of support for Democrats is declining, there remains a significant level of Jewish backing for the Democratic Party. Especially in light of recent events at home and abroad, this support is contrary to many traditional Jewish values — ideals that hold the Zionist dream and the existence of Israel as a centerpiece of Jewish heritage and faith. 

"The long-standing defensive, economic, and ideological relationship, underpinned by our mutual support of democracy and freedom, between the United States and Israel has been a stable principle for American Jews for decades.
