Have Jordan Accusers Reported Abuse at Their Work Places? "And get ready for the next character assassination."

American Spectator  "In the viciously cynical American political environment where we now live, it no longer is about quality and competence, skills and ability. It is about destruction of the opponent: destroy them, their character, their children, their family. Just destroy them. For example, let’s show pictures of a girl crying at the southern border when her mother puts her down for a moment — and then let’s tweet that we hope that the President’s child gets kidnapped and sexually abused. Let’s destroy that kid.
. . .
"This is so vicious, so base, the endless character assassination — leveled by hypocrites and phonies who, in front of their own very eyes, see the evil and villainy of the Keith Ellisons and Hillary Clintons, the Bill Clintons and Maxine Waterses who should be ostracized and vomited out of the body politic. Keith Ellison is a Jew-hater who hobnobbed with Farrakhan and whose anti-Jewish snide remarks have been caught on tape. Hillary is a felon. Her husband is the sequel to Raging Bull: Raping Bill. And Maxine: at this moment in American history, suddenly that name will never be the same.

"But all those crooks and knaves are fine for the Democrat liberals smelling blood in the water near Jim Jordan. So let us consider a bit more deeply — in a case where an underling knows about abuse, which Jordan did not — what it means to speak out against abuse at the workplace. What it means in real life to be employed as a grunt at a place where the boss, or someone a bit less high up, is abusive — sexually abusive, physically abusive, emotionally abusive. Many inevitably encounter something like this at some job, but we prefer not to discuss it. Well, may as well discuss it:" . . .

Meryl Streep publicly praised Harvey Weinstein as “god.” She did not know? And the clapping seals loved it, cheering and gleefully giggling at the Academy Awards.
No one at CBS spoke out about Charlie Rose. No one knew? No one at NBC spoke out against Matt Lauer. No one knew?
Understanding Why Jim Jordan Is Being Smeared  . . . "Gaetz nailed one of the motivations for the smear saying it was part of a campaign to distract from the FBI’s own embarrassments in mishandling a Russian collusion investigation. “This is a deliberate attempt to knock the best oversight member of Congress off his game the week [Peter] Strzok is scheduled to testify,” he continued.

"The timing of these allegations, their specious nature and the focus on what Jim Jordan “should have known” smells to high heaven of a political hit by Jordan’s RINO enemies.  This is the lowest and vilest attack yet on a conservative seeking a House leadership post and it tells us the Swamp thinks Jordan is winning the race for Speaker.
"The American Spectator’s Brandon J. Weichert expanded on this point in a must-read article from June 6:" . . .
As long as Jim Jordan is tied-up in this phony controversy the Deep State is still winning. Trump, Jordan, and the few others resisting this shadowy tyranny need reinforcements. The toll-free Capitol Switchboard is (1-866-220-0044) we urge CHQ readers and friends to call Representative Jim Jordan to tell him in the face of these vile attacks he should redouble his campaign for Speaker.
Another number for Rep. Jordan is 202-225-2676. Both have been busy today. TD

On Judge Kavanaugh and Democrat rage

Tony Branco
What's wrong with this statement?

Women's March mocked for pre-written press release opposing Supreme Court nominee 'XX'

Brett Kavanaugh: An Excellent Beginning  "President Trump announced his appointment of D. C. Circuit Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court a few minutes ago. Trump was joined at the podium by Kavanaugh and his wife and two daughters. The event was, I think, superbly staged. Some observations:" . . .
". . . The audience gave Judge Kavanaugh and his family a warm reception that must have impressed unbiased viewers. The road to confirmation may be bumpy, given the Democrats’ lunacy, but it got off to an excellent start tonight."

It's Brett Kavanaugh: Will Left's Rank Politics Of Rage Keep Trump's Brilliant Pick Off Supreme Court?
We've been here before. Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas, both conservative jurists, were vilified, slandered and attacked publicly for the crime of being Republican nominees to the court. Only Thomas made it on, and just barely. In one of the great injustices of the Senate approval process, Democrats and their organized far-left media mob forced Bork, one of the best-qualified nominees in history to the court, to withdraw after a sickening campaign of defamation and character assassination.
The SCOTUS nominee has to be 'controversial' because...Trump
. . . "And the media still don't understand why Trump has accurately labeled them fake news.
"Borking accusations sure to come: a woman – or maybe, for good measure, a man – will claim he behaved inappropriately 30 years ago.  Discussions that his active involvement in his Catholic community renders him incapable of judging several cases.  He worked under Ken Starr, so he's a misogynist."

A Liberal’s Case for Brett Kavanaugh

NY Times Editorial

Judge Brett Kavanaugh, shown here in 2004, is President Trump’s
nominee for the Supreme Court.
"The nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to be the next Supreme Court justice is President Trump’s finest hour, his classiest move. Last week the president promised to select “someone with impeccable credentials, great intellect, unbiased judgment, and deep reverence for the laws and Constitution of the United States.” In picking Judge Kavanaugh, he has done just that.

"In 2016, I strongly supported Hillary Clinton for president as well as President Barack Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court, Judge Merrick Garland. But today, with the exception of the current justices and Judge Garland, it is hard to name anyone with judicial credentials as strong as those of Judge Kavanaugh. He sits on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (the most influential circuit court) and commands wide and deep respect among scholars, lawyers and jurists.
"Judge Kavanaugh, who is 53, has already helped decide hundreds of cases concerning a broad range of difficult issues. Good appellate judges faithfully follow the Supreme Court; great ones influence and help steer it. Several of Judge Kavanaugh’s most important ideas and arguments — such as his powerful defense of presidential authority to oversee federal bureaucrats and his skepticism about newfangled attacks on the property rights of criminal defendants — have found their way into Supreme Court opinions." . . . Full article

Leftist reactions to the appointment of Judge Kavanaugh

Are Americans yet sickened by the Democrats and their petty vindictiveness?

Pelosi Vows To “Avenge President Obama If It’s Last Thing I Do’ By Opposing Trump SCOTUS Nominee
. . . "Pelosi, 78, is one of several top Democrats — including Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.– who already have announced that they oppose Trump’s pick without knowing whom the president has selected. Schumer has said the Senate should not consider any Supreme Court nominees during an election year." . . .

" 'It's hard to keep a straight face when you hear stuff like that," McConnell said. "There's not even a nominee yet. Justice Kennedy just announced his retirement, and they're talking about the destruction of the Constitution? Please, give the American people some credit."
"This far-left rhetoric comes out every single time, but the Apocalypse never comes," McConnell continued. "Americans see beyond this kind of far-left mongering. This kind of fear-mongering they tried over and over again for 40 years."

Michelle Wolf Leads Sickening ‘Salute To Abortions’

Chicks On The Right "It’s one thing to be casually “pro-choice.” It’s another to actively SALUTE ABORTIONS OMG. Yet, that’s exactly what “comedian” (I use the word loosely) Michelle Wolf did.

"At the end of her Netflix show “The Break with Michelle Wolf,” she came out on the stage in a patriotic outfit and tried to get her obnoxious crowd all amped up over abortions. She was all, “Women, if you need an abortion, get one…If you want an abortion, get one.”

"So much for “safe, legal and rare.”

“Women, don’t forget, you have the power to give life and men will try to control that,” Wolf continued. “Don’t let them.”

“…power to give life…” So she admits it’s a life?

"Also, I can’t believe this even needs to be said out loud, but women can’t give life alone. Why do Democrats suck at biology so much?

“Look, access to abortion is good and important,” Wolf said. “Some people say abortion is ‘killing a baby.’ It’s not. It’s stopping a baby from happening.”

"So when does that “blob of cells” become a baby? Not until it creeps out of the birth canal? Are premature babies #FakeBabies?" . . .

Carly Fiorina educates leftist Katie Couric on 'climate change'

I'd much rather Ms. Fiorina be the first woman president than the corrupt Hillary. When this lady speaks I trust her honesty, feeling much more comfort if she speaks to me about my slain son while standing by his casket.

John Scotto  "In a most enlightening YouTube video (embedded below), former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina makes leftist "journalist" Katie Couric look like a fool regarding the climate change issue.  While engaging Couric, Fiorina emphasizes the reality of American dependence upon oil and coal and how these energy sources are needed for the nation's basic survival.

. . . "The climate change phenomenon has become one of the greatest ruses ever perpetrated upon mankind.  Barack Obama used the EPA as a weapon against America's middle class.  By simply reversing the past Obama EPA regulations, President Trump has jump-started the American economy.  It really wasn't rocket science, but just common sense.
"President Trump's bold reversal of most of the Obama era's EPA regulations has awoken a bunch of U.S. citizens, and this awakening is now putting the climate alarmists into state of panic and rage.  The alarmists' effort to convince people that the Earth is in a state of perpetual and imminent danger is quickly losing its luster.  People in general are growing tired of these incessant climate alarmist warnings – warnings by leftist politicians and so-called scientists that come attached with ominous predictions, meaning apocalyptic predictions that never seem to come [true]." . . .

Walk Away: Leftists Abuse St. Jude Family Who Thanked Eric Trump For Raising Millions of Dollars to Help Children With Cancer

The Gateway Pundit

"Nothing is too low for leftists; they’ll even attack a family with a precious little boy battling cancer.

"A Memphis, Tennessee woman was on the receiving end of abuse from leftists after she decided to thank Eric Trump for donating and helping raise millions of dollars to help fund St. Jude children’s hospital.
"Eric Trump and the Trump Organization donated and helped raise $16 million dollars to fund St. Jude children’s hospital to help families pay for cancer treatments for children.
"A Tennessee woman was emotional and grateful after watching how the doctors and staff at St. Jude saved her nephew, Zachary’s life after he was diagnosed with cancer.
"The woman was so grateful, she decided to tweet a little thank you note to Eric Trump.
“ 'Thank you for your commitment to St. Jude. This St. Jude family is eternally grateful,” the woman said in a tweet.
. . . "From this moment on, the woman said she and her little nephew were on the receiving end of an onslaught of pure hatred from leftists.
"She received so much hatred, she decided to post a #WalkAway video describing her experience.
"Nothing it too low for today’s Democrats. They even attack a family with a child suffering from cancer simply because they thanked Eric Trump."

"Journalists" become propagandists

From Jeff Dawald at Expose Liberals & Media Bias

When challenged by a conservative interviewee, the host, refusing to respond to the challenge, will say "I'm asking you!". I wish the person being interviewed would hit back with "I do not regard you as an impartial journalist, but rather an advocate for my opposition".  TD

Why Should a Single Federal Judge Be Able to Make Law for the Whole Country?

National Review
While we fill a Supreme Court vacancy, let’s also have that debate. John Fund
A protester outside the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, Calif., February 7, 2017

. . . "Confusion about the proper role of the courts extends to many of our sitting judges. Last month, while the Supreme Court narrowly upheld the so-called Trump travel ban, Justice Clarence Thomas raised an issue that the next Supreme Court justice may have to weigh in on. Why is it, he asked, that a single federal district judge can impose an injunction blocking a presidential executive order in all 50 states even if none of his colleagues (599 district judges) thinks it’s a good idea?
"Justice Thomas wrote:
These injunctions are beginning to take a toll on the federal court system — preventing legal questions from percolating through the federal courts, encouraging forum shopping, and making every case a national emergency for the courts and for the Executive Branch.            I am skeptical that district courts have the authority to enter universal injunctions. These injunctions did not emerge until a century and a half after the founding. And they appear to be inconsistent with longstanding limits on equitable relief and the power of Article III courts. If their popularity continues, this Court must address their legality.
"Since January 2017, the “resistance” to President Trump has succeeded in getting 22 injunctions against his actions on issues ranging from the “Dreamers” to sanctuary cities and transgender policy in the military." . . .

The June Report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows a strengthening economy, particularly good for minorities. The DNC calls it “reckless.”

Trump, it turns out, has been the most consequential president in history when it comes to minority employment. In June, for instance, the unemployment rate for Hispanics and Latinos 16 years and older fell to 4.6%, its lowest level ever, from 4.9% in May. The previous all-time low was 4.8%.
Bookworm Room  "After eight years of a moribund economy under Obama, an eight year stretch that was particularly hard on minorities, it is indeed good to see an increasing number of people returning to the workforce.  So June%.’s jobs report from the BLS:  over 600,000 people returned to the workforce; 213,000 new jobs added; minority unemployment at record lows.  As always, for a complete analysis, visit Tom Blumer’s Bizzy Blog.
"We still have a long way to go to recover from the damage done by eight years of Obama and the Democrats sub-prime nuclear explosion in our economy.  On the first month of Obama’s presidency, in Feb. 2008, the Labor Force Participation Rate stood at 66.0%.  In the last month of his Presidency, Dec. 2016, it stood at 62.7%.  Now, with people returning to the workforce in an improving economy under Trump, that number is slowly going back up.  It stands in June at 62.9%. . . .

MSNBC lies in support of Hillary's candidacy documented and savaged – from the left

It's pretty clear to me that the mainstream media are intent on utterly destroying any residual credibility they still have.  Once they realize that their hysterical anti-Trump posture is actually driving support to the president, what will they do?

Thomas Lifson   "NBC, a subsidiary of Comcast, and its cable news affiliate MSNBC have become among the fiercest antagonists of President Trump.  Even before his election, they were shameless in shilling for Hillary Clinton's candidacy.  Conservatives know this quite well, but now comes documentation from the left of the outright lies, not just permitted, but encouraged and rewarded by the cable outlet, and tolerated by its corporate parents.

"Glenn Greenwald, of the Intercept, documents an attempt to smear left-wing presidential candidate Jill Stein.  The presumption has to be that votes for Stein would otherwise have gone to Hillary, so hobbling her with lies would also hurt the prospects of electoral success of Donald Trump." . . .
