.:.So she's been listened to, and listened to, and now she's shown to be a racist, spewing all manner of hate tweets.  Fine person to listen to.  Yet they all do it, the entire political and sports power hierarchy, even as she complains about not being "heard."  Her case shows the corruption of the establishment as they bow down to this bounder.  In a sane world, her racist tweets would mean they wouldn't give her the time of day.

Rep. Jena Powell, a conservative and staunch defender of women’s athletics, was in the process of introducing an amendment to a bill that would allow college athletes to profit from their names and likenesses when the melee broke out.

“The ‘Save Women’s Sports Act’ is a fairness issue for women to be able to achieve their dreams and athletics in our state,” Powell began. “It is crucial to preserving women’s rights and the integrity of women’s and girls’ sports. Across our country, female athletes are currently losing scholarships, opportunities, medals, education, and training opportunities.” Unfortunately, some Democrats in the chamber apparently couldn’t stand to hear an articulate conservative woman defending women’s sports—and calling for a ban on biological men pretending to be women, ruining their sports, and denying them opportunities.

The amendment, attached to SB 187, reads: “No state institution or private college to which division (B) of this section applies shall knowingly allow individuals of the male sex to participate on athletic teams or in athletic competitions designated for only participants of the female sex.”

Shortly after Powell began her speech, Democrats began pounding on their desks and shouting “booo!” and “out of order!” in an attempt to disrupt her.

The amendment succeeded in a 54-40 vote, and the Ohio House voted 57-36 to pass Senate Bill 187 through to the Senate.

 Clean-up on Aisle 2: White House scrambles to salvage flailing Kamala Harris - American Thinker   . . . "Both characters, Joe and Kamala, were serious mistakes for the Democrats, both were bad candidates to start with, yet both are in power now and want to retain it. Now the fast-sinking Harris is subject to this salvage effort from the Bidenites, and it's not a very strong effort.

"That's what happens when voters are not permitted to exert their native wisdom and winnow out bad candidates, and a president and running mate get there by fraud instead of a fair election. Neither would have been there had the election been conducted honestly, both are there by the skin of their teeth on a foundation of lies. So of course, both are there problematically, their illegitimacy clear in their obvious flaws and incompetence now that they are in office. And sure enough, there are constant under-the-surface battles bubbling out, which should continue.

With Mrs. Biden playing at being veep, it's important to her to sideline the actual veep.  It helps that Jill, who isn't the brightest bulb in the box, is still sharper, and apparently even more vicious, than Kamala.  I would almost feel sorry for Kamala if I didn't dislike and disrespect her and her politics as much as I do.

Furious Democrats have behaved “childishly” by yelling and pounding their desks while Ohio Republican Jena Powell attempted to speak on an amendment to a state bill banning biological males from female sports. Jena Powell attempted to add an amendment to the Ohio NIL bill - the ‘Name.Image, Likeness’ bill - which allows college athletes to profit off their name, image and likeness. Ms Powell’s amendment would see biological males banned from competing in female sports. The state Republican told the House it was an amendment needed for women trying to achieve their dreams in sport. “It’s crucial to preserving women’s rights and the integrity of women’s and girls’ sports,” she said. “Across our country, female athletes are currently losing scholarships, opportunities, medals, education and training opportunities.” As Ms Powell addressed the House she was met with furious banging and yelling from the Democrats. The behaviour from Democrats has been met with criticism online. “This is my state. I don't know who that man is, but I would like to know all the people who behaved so childishly,” one Twitter user wrote. “Those behaving that way have no business being allowed in a room where laws are being discussed let alone voting on what will or will not be made a law,” another said. The NIL bill was passed in the Ohio House - including Jena Powell’s amendment - and will return to Ohio Senate to vote on.
