Mitt Romney Seems to Know That He's Jeff Flaked Himself

Mitt Romney Seems To Know That He's Jeff Flaked Himself – PJ Media

. . ."If an incumbent senator is going to be ousted, the odds to make it happen are far greater after just one term than at any other time. Those six-year terms give them too much time to pass out goodies. Get through the first term and the next thing you know, you’re Dianne Feinstein.

"It’s possible that Romney may have gotten himself in trouble much the same way Jeff Flake, who is now one of Joe Biden’s ambassadors, did here in my home state of Arizona. Here’s a refresher from something I wrote last year:

Flake has been a darling of the Democrats ever since he threw in with the sad-sack Never Trump crowd a few years back. He did that after having failed his Republican constituents in Arizona so utterly that he had to end his bid for a second Senate term more than a year before the election.

"It’s obvious that Romney revels in his own “darling of the Democrats” status.

"Flake tried to make it all about Trump but he was toast here long before then. I hadn’t moved back here yet but my conservative friends were disappointed in him almost from the moment he transitioned from the House to the Senate.

"One big difference between Arizona then and Utah now is that the likelihood of Romney getting replaced by another Republican is greater.". . .

Comedians Mock Joe Biden on Saudia Arabia TV

Frankly, the only thing Studio 22 got wrong with the skit is that they made VP Kamala Harris seem way more competent than she really is. It’s more likely that instead of deftly guiding POTUS back on track, she’d probably cackle maniacally .. Kamala Harris Has Dismantled Her Reputation for Competence – PJ Media

Every so often, if we watch closely enough, both our friends and our enemies will tell us what they truly think of the U.S. This time the truth appeared in an SNL-like Studio 22 comedy skit shown on Saudia Arabia’s government-owned television network. Australia’s Sky News reported that “the big takeaway from the skit was how much Joe Biden’s cognitive ability was mocked.”. . .
. . ."And if our friends recognize Biden’s decline, we can be sure our enemies do as well, yet there wasn’t one single solitary article written in the MSM about this mocking skit. Why is that? Perhaps they know it hits too close to home? We can rest assured that had this skit mocked President Trump, they would’ve written dozens of articles and had so-called comedians like Joy Behar would have dissected its comedic brilliance.". . .

Surely the world's nations know this side of Joe as well: Another Biden phony family fable - American Thinker        "President Biden is fond of telling fictitious family stories.  His maternal grandfather was an All-American football player at Santa Clara University in California — this at a time when All-Americans only came from Army, the Ivy League, or the Big 10, and Santa Clara had no All-American players at all until the 1960s.  He used to take his children, then grandchildren, individually, when they came of age, to Europe to tour Nazi death camps.  When a teenager, on Sundays, he moseyed on over to the local Black Baptist church in Wilmington, Delaware to assist and even guide those unprivileged parishioners in their Civil Rights activities — though nobody from the church recalls ever seeing such a boy at the time, and no one recalls seeing him until he became a candidate for public office in the 1960s.

"In recent months, Biden has grown fond of telling another family story . . ."

Kamala Embarasses Herself Badly With Her Solution to Inflation – RedState   "The deficiencies of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have, unfortunately, become public knowledge for all the world to see, not just Americans. It’s a bad thing for America and the world when foreign countries are mocking the competence of the alleged leader of the free world.

"A comedy program on Saudi TV even made fun of them in a skit that went viral. It focused on Biden’s incoherence and sleepiness, with Kamala Harris having to save him and demanding people clap for him. The program was on the mark in a lot of ways from the suit they had Kamala wearing to her basic role of being a backup for Biden.

"Unfortunately, the backup isn’t much better and it’s one of the things that gives 25th Amendment hawks pause.". . .

Title 42: The Flood

Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, of the Department of Homeland Security, has publicly stated that Title 42 is “driven by the public health imperative. It is not a tool of immigration. It is a tool of public health to protect not only the American people but the migrants themselves.”

Immigration 101: What is Title 42? (rootlaw.com)    "Title 42 is part of U.S. health law, specifically Section 262 of U.S. Code Title 42 which prohibits entry into the United States when the Director for Disease Control believes “there is a serious danger to the introduction of [a communicable] disease into the United States.” The rule allows any customs officers—which includes officers of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) such as Border Patrol agents—to implement any such order issued by the CDC.

"The CDC order does not apply to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and their spouses and children, nor does it apply to U.S. military personnel or those who arrive at a port of entry with valid travel documents, although the CDC maintains that it has the authority to expel U.S. citizens under Title 42 if it chooses. The rule also includes an exemption for anyone that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) determines should be allowed into the United States on “consideration of significant law enforcement, officer and public safety, humanitarian, and public health interests.' ”. . .

Record-Shattering Illegal Border Crossings Likely to Start After Biden Revokes Title 42 | CNSNews  "President Joe Biden is about to blow open the floodgates on illegal immigration at the border, and the governor of Texas is vowing to push back.

“ 'To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration to Washington, D.C.,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said at a Wednesday press conference.

"That may not resolve the issue, but at least it sends a message to Washington that this is a Washington-caused crisis that’s becoming intolerable for beleaguered border states.". . .

Media Go Wild for Child-Porn Friendly Judge

You want consistency? Read your own statements from a few years ago on the GIGANTIC difference in confirming someone to an appeals court and making a “big decision to promote him to a big job for life.”

Ann Coulter  "These were Google’s top headlines this week about the hearings on President Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson:

" 'White House chief of staff Ron Klain hits back at Sen. Ted Cruz — Business Insider, April 4, 2022

" 'Cory Booker demolishes GOP attempts to smear Ketanji Brown — Washington Post, April 5, 2022

" 'Lindsey Graham Throws An Impotent S–T Fit Over Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court Nomination — Vanity Fair, April 4, 2022

" '(I can trust the media, right?)

"The hit-back consisted of the following: Ted Cruz said KBJ would be “the most extreme” justice on the court, and — get ready for the snappy comeback — Klain said that “nothing” in Jackson’s record “supports this assertion.”

" 'Thank God for our free press and the reporters who dig up stories like this!

"Sen. Booker DEMOLISHED Republicans (you can always trust the “Watch so-and-so DEMOLISH” headlines), according to Jennifer Rubin of the Post, with this biting rejoinder: “Sen. Cory Booker had heard enough. [HERE IT COMES!] … Booker compared Jackson’s confirmation hearings to the ‘Festivus’ holiday from the sitcom ‘Seinfeld.’ ‘There’s been a lot of airing of grievances.’”

" 'And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call, “DEMOLISHED.' ”. . .

Go Woke, Go Broke: Huge Number of Americans Dropping Disney for Radical Position on Parental Rights Bill

"However, a new survey shows that almost seven of ten Americans reject the radical position being pushed by Disney."

Go Woke, Go Broke: Huge Number of Americans Dropping Disney for Radical Position on Parental Rights Bill – RedState

"Disney is a powerful company but they may have just stepped in it big time with their position over a parents’ rights bill that they falsely call the “Don’t Say Gay” law in Florida.

"The law doesn’t say anything about “don’t say gay.” Indeed it doesn’t mention “gay” at all.

The legislative text of the House version of the bill reads, ‘Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.’ [….]

"That’s what folks on the left have been freaking out about for weeks? It’s no wonder that parents are for it — and why people once they look at the language — are questioning what’s on the agenda of the left with this.

"The crazy videos that have been posted by people, including teachers of young children, have been troubling, eye-opening, and reveal the nature of the problem — from a teacher who would tell students that she’s a gender-fluid witch to a teacher who tells students that when people are born, doctors “guess” whether they are boys or girls and sometimes they make mistakes.". . .

Disney Releases ‘Gayest Kids Movie Yet,’ Produced Long Before Florida Grooming Controversy

Disney Releases 'Gayest Kids Movie Yet,' Produced Long Before Anti-Grooming Controversy (breitbart.com)  "

The film’s director, Tim Federle, also noted that the film was specifically intended to further the LGBTQ agenda, and recently celebrated Disney’s high rating from the radical LGBTQ organization, GLAAD.

"Disney has released what has been described as the “gayest kid’s movie yet,” as it continues to pay fealty to radical queer activists with its attacks on Florida’s anti-grooming law that gives parents a say in their children’s education.

"This month, Disney+ released a musical comedy aimed at pre-teens titled Better Nate Than Ever. The movie features 13-year-old Nate (Rueby Wood) who is upset about losing the audition for his high school musical and who goes on a trip to New York City with dreams of winning a part in a Broadway play."

"While the movie never affixes the label of “gay” to its young star, according to the Daily Beast, the movie is an homage to every gay kid who loves stage plays and musicals.

“ 'Better Nate Than Ever, which just may be the most gay-positive and encouraging youth programming that Disney has ever released,” the Beast reported on Friday.

"Rueby Wood, the film’s 15-year-old star, is frequently seen in gender-bending garb. At the film’s premier, he wore a black frock festooned with a colorful rock necklace, fruit-tart finger rings, and colorful, long fake fingernails.". .

I Asked What My Daughter Would Learn in Kindergarten. Then the Teachers Union Sued Me.

I Asked What My Daughter Would Learn in Kindergarten. Then the Teachers Union Sued Me. (townhall.com)

"I’m just like any parent—when I enrolled my daughter in kindergarten, I wanted to know what she would learn. In response, our school district bullied, harassed, defamed, evaded, and stonewalled me. Then the teachers union sued me. I left public school because I no longer felt safe but I’m still taking action to get answers.

Kindergarten is a precious milestone. Our babies are not babies anymore: They go to school for full days. Parents want to know their children are safe at school, and they want to feel confident that their children are receiving a quality education. I knew many public schools across the country have been politicizing lessons, so I called my principal in the South Kingstown School District in Rhode Island to ask if they teach concepts of Critical Race Theory or gender theory. That question and the events that followed changed my life.

"The principal said they don’t call children “boys” and “girls,” and teachers embed values of gender theory into classroom lessons. They ask kindergartners, “What could have been done differently on Thanksgiving?” How can five-year-olds answer such a bizarre question that shames them for their American heritage? The principal told me these were “common practices” but could not define a “common practice” or tell me when these “practices” originated. Now I wanted to know these “common practices” and the educational pedagogy supporting them, but the school refused to answer my questions.

"Instead, my school did everything in its power to evade me. The school told me to submit public record requests, but when I submitted what they considered to be too many requests, the school publicly threatened to sue me. They held a special public meeting to target me and treated me as if I were on trial. There, they publicized my public record requests and my personal emails. They allowed community members to speak in support of me or against me, and one woman whom I’ve never met turned directly to me and called me racist. The school even hired a PR firm to smear me in the national media. Later, the local teachers’ union had a meeting with 250 teachers where they put my name and picture on slides characterizing me as “threat to public education.” Two months later, the Rhode Island branch of the National Education Association filed a frivolous lawsuit against me to silence me and send a message to other parents that they could be punished for asking questions too. Big-guy Biden brings "Build Back Badder"

Biden: the choice of celebrities everywhere.

Jen Psaki's schtick is to respond with "give me the names of people who are poorer today".

www.terrellaftermath.com

"Almost everyone in America is getting poorer thanks to the inflationary wave kicked off by Joe Biden taking office and immediately clamping down on energy production, which set off a continuing cycle of price rises to compensate for increased costs.

"People filling their gas tanks or buying food already are changing their habits and lowering their standard of living.  The classic question Ronald Reagan asked voters, "Are you better off now...?," has a resounding answer — "No!" — only 14 months into the Biden presidency.  Reagan was running against Jimmy Carter, during whose presidency Americans last had the experience of inflation remotely comparable to what we endure now.". . .

. . ."But Jen Paski's rhetoric about the "Putin price hike" isn't finding many takers, even at left-wing outlets like CNN.  Perhaps they realize that people have been buying gasoline and food all throughout 2021 and early 2022 before any war in Ukraine and can recognize propaganda BS when they hear it.". . .

Acceleration: Consumer price index hits highest annual inflation rate since 1981 – HotAir

. . ."The worst level of inflation in 40 years managed to get even worse in March. The consumer-price index rose 8.5% year-on-year, the worst since December 1981 — when inflation had begun to decelerate. Instead, the CPI’s internals suggest that inflation has only begun to accelerate.

"So much for those pay raises that Joe Biden keeps touting:. . ."

Joe Manchin Torches Biden's 'Putin Price Hike' Inflation Excuse in Scathing Statement (westernjournal.com)  . . ."A White House economic advisor accused Sen. Rick Scott of Florida of being “fully in lockstep” with Putin himself for criticizing Biden’s job performance.

"The White House is yet to apply the PR tactic to the senator from their own party, with Putin sympathies seemingly stopping at a partisan line.

"The annual inflation rate in March was 8.5%.". . .

After a gang shooting, who should be deprived of guns? - American Thinker

. . ."Sacramento sheriff Scott Jones has already blamed the loss of lives on April 3 on soft-on-crime California policies that "treat criminals like victims."  The Biden administration, however, will not demand stronger prosecution, or increased sentences, for those guilty of murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and illegal possession of firearms.  Like all good leftists, it will instead call for even more of what are meaninglessly termed "commonsense gun laws": the elimination of certain types of rifles and pistols (most developed a century or more ago) and further prohibitions on the ownership or carry of all firearms by the law-abiding for self-defense.  The administration will attempt to curtail the sales of gun parts and sub-assemblies, alleging that their lack of serial numbers appeals to criminals who assemble them into "ghost guns."  Alas, criminals have all the black-market guns they need.

"None of this will stop crime.  The people affected by the new legislation the administration will propose very rarely commit crimes.  Their intent is to protect themselves from violence by the most effective means available: the private ownership and carry of a weapon.  They obey the law.  They dutifully undergo background checks, apply for permits, and take training courses as required.  They present no threat to the public.

"Like the armed citizens of any free nation, they do present a threat to those with designs on freedom.  It is for that reason that they, not criminals, have legislative targets on their backs."

A University of Buffalo student said she was ‘hunted down’ by a woke mob screaming ‘no justice, no peace,’ after she invited prominent black Republican Lt. Col. Allen West to speak on how he overcame racism.

Therese Purcell, president of the Young Americans for Freedom, a campus club that organized the event, said she and her fellow members only wanted to bring these open dialogues of racism to campus.

But protests erupted after the filled-to-capacity event, leading to an angry mob that chased Purcell, leaving her afraid of what would have happened if she wasn’t able to hide from them.

She shared terrifying footage of the incident online, and says it left her fearing for her life, Fox & Friends First reported.". . .

What the Left Has Done to Women

 Dennis Prager

"Barack and I..."

"As I have documented on a number of occasions, the Left ruins everything it touches. There is no exception. From universities to high schools and now including even elementary schools, to latenight TV, to sports, to the arts and, increasingly, science, the Left is a destruction machine.

"And nowhere is this damage more evident or tragic than with regard to women.

"In fact, nothing demonstrates the power of left-wing ideology as much as what this ideology has done to women. So powerful is leftist ideology, it is more powerful than women's nature.

"Here are five examples:

"No. 1: The Desire to Bond with a Man

"For all of recorded history, virtually all women sought a man with whom to bond. Of course, a progressive would argue that this was true only because all societies implanted this desire in women or because societal pressure gave women little choice about the matter. It is not, progressives would argue, innate to female nature to yearn for a man.

"But whatever the reason -- innate nature or societal expectation -- it is a fact that women desiring a man was virtually universal.

"Then along came modern left-wing feminism, which communicated to generations of young women through almost every influence in their lives -- most especially teachers and the media -- that a woman doesn't need a man.

"In the witty words of one feminist aphorism, "A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle."

"Unfortunately, however, the reality is most women need a man just as most men need a woman. Most men don't fully grow up without a woman, and most women don't fully grow up without a man (I am, of course, referring to heterosexual women and men). If you need proof, ask almost any married person, man or woman, if marriage matured them.

"No. 2: The Desire to Marry. . ."
