National Review "Fox News announced on Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris has agreed to be interviewed by the network’s chief political anchor, Bret Baier.
"The interview will air Wednesday evening in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. The announcement comes as Harris visits Erie on Monday, a hotly contested county that could decide the all-important battleground state’s fate come November.
"The event marks the first time the current Democratic frontrunner has ever participated in a sit-down interview with the network.
" 'Special Report with Bret Baier…is home to the largest and most politically diverse audience in cable news, averaging 2.3 million viewers…with more Democrats and Independents tuning in to Baier than any show in its timeslot,” the network announced in a statement.
"Harris has come under fire for not engaging with adversarial media outlets throughout her campaign, opting instead for a softer lineup, including recent appearances on the Call Her Daddy podcast and The View, in addition to sitting down with Oprah Winfrey, Howard Stern, and Stephen Colbert. This month alone, Harris’ vice-presidential pick Tim Walz has appeared on Fox News Sunday twice.
"The interview will follow a Fox News town hall with Donald Trump featuring an all-female audience as the former president looks to boost his appeal with his weakest demographic. Harris, meanwhile, hopes to boost her standing with black men down the stretch, highlighted by former president Barack Obama’s trip to Pennsylvania last week.
"The vice president went on the offensive Sunday after Trump refused a 60 Minutes interview asking, “Why does his staff want him to hide away?… Are they afraid that people will see that he is too weak and unstable to lead America? Is that what’s going on?” . . .
. . ."In August Kamala Harris refused to debate President Trump on FOX News. But now, with her numbers sagging, Kamala is willing to sit with Trump-hating RINO Bret Baier for an interview that is assuredly going to be a free ride for the Democratic nominee.
Bret Baier has quite the record trashing President Trump.
'"In 2023, Baier attacked President Trump for his classified documents scandal but defended dirty Mike Pence after he lied about not holding classified documents at his home.
'In January 2022, Bret Baier defended serial liar and hoaxer Cassidy Hutchinson who lied about Trump attacking a Secret Service agent on January 6.
'So on Monday when Bret Baier announced his interview with Kamala Harris, President Trump was the first to chime in!
