Media Misses: Reporters Refuse to Recognize Leftist ‘Mob’ Rule; CNN and MSNBC should hang their heads in shame.

Daily Signal   "The Democratic Party has a new face and that is mob rule—but the mainstream media seems to conveniently ignore that. Plus: CNN’s Brooke Baldwin won’t even say the “M” word.
"If the tea party was harassing people out of restaurants and blocking the doors of the Supreme Court, do you think the media would ignore it? Absolutely not." . . .

Don Surber to the media: You are Fake News and you bore me  "Go away, Washington and New York reporters. After three years of following your constant dishonest reporting about Donald John Trump, you have not only lost credibility but my interest as well.
"And this is after writing a book chronicling last year's Fake News.
"You are losers who have piddled away the power of the press in your Wile E. Coyote attempts to bring down President Trump. The anvil had landed on your heads so often that you now suffer CTE.
"
Let me give you a few recent examples of your idiocy.
. . .
"Kanye West went on and on, but it was not crazy talk. He was explaining the needs of the black urban community. He wants to help.
You mock him.
"When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended the 2010 White House Correspondents' Association dinner, you ooed and awed. Obama even posed with them and signed the picture.
"Suddenly having them in the White House is unpresidential. Who do you think you are kidding?
"Or how about your attempt to mug Brett Kavanaugh? That backfired. The people are on to you.

Even some on the left think the #MeToo movement has gone too far

Rick Moran  "How far is too far for the #MeToo movement? That we are finally getting around to asking that question - even those on the left - says just how far off the rails the movement has gotten.

"Case in point: Francisco J. Ayala. He's a world renowned geneticist at UC Irvine, born in Spain, whose friendly greetings for Benedicte Shipley were perceived by both in radically different ways. Ayala would greet Shipley for years with a hug and kisses on both cheeks, telling her how attractive she is. He thought he was showing her good manners. She believed he was harassing her.
"Ayala is 84 years old. Shipley is 50. Other women came forward to tell of Ayala's unwanted friendliness. He swore he meant no disrespect by his actions. Indeed, some women enjoyed their encounters with Ayala.
"But the university threw the book at him." . . .

Who to believe? An adult white woman or a 9 year old black boy?  "The "believe woman" claims of rape no-matter-what meme continues to trivialize real rape and other forms of assault, while turning women into permanently helpless victims unable to function in simple every day activities because #MeToo!
"In the heart of multi-cultural, pluralistic and oh-so-liberal Brooklyn, New York, a white woman is paying for cat litter in a Mid-Eastern deli as a black mother exits the store with her two young children.  Ah, sophisticated big city co-existence in all its smug glory!
"But wait! Danger for women is everywhere!  Everywhere! And it happens! Something touches the white woman's delicate butt!  Oh no!  Galvanized by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's vivid recollections of a highly questionable drunken adolescent  hazy encounter 36 years earlier embedded in her hypothalamus, the alert white female professional victim follows the black family outside, accusing the 9 year old boy of touching her clothed and sacred body part and then calls the police." . . .

"The 9 year old cries.  The mother defends her son." . . .
. . .
" 'But...but," women defenders will defend, "women have been victimized for so long you can't blame them for a little mistake."  Oh no!  Of course not!
"So what if innocent men are vilified, smeared, even incarcerated?  They deserve it because they're well...men.
"So what if the cops had been more involved, showing the woman the child was innocent?  They're cops; by definition, bad.

"So what if the cops and the judge are slow to react when a real case of sexual assault occurs because wolf has been called too many times?  They're men.  Or evil conservative, elitist women. "
Mazie Hirono telling men to "just shut up" didn't win much sympathy for her apparently spasmodic causes.

Everyone Is Smart Except Trump

The American Spectator

. . . "Only Trump does not know how to negotiate with Vladimir Putin. Anderson Cooper knows how to stand up to Putin. The whole crowd at MSNBC does. All the journalists do.

"They could not stand up to Matt Lauer at NBC. They could not stand up to Charlie Rose at CBS. They could not stand up to Mark Halperin at NBC. Nor up to Leon Wieseltier at the New Republic, nor Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone, nor Michael Oreskes at NPR, at the New York Times, or at the Associated Press. But — oh, wow! — can they ever stand up to Putin! Only Trump is incapable of negotiating with the Russian tyrant.

"Remember the four years when Anderson Cooper was President of the United States? And before that — when the entire Washington Post editorial staff jointly were elected to be President? Remember? Neither do I.

"The Seedier Media never have negotiated life and death, not corporate life and death, and not human life and death. They think they know how to negotiate, but they do not know how. They go to a college, are told by peers that they are smart, get some good grades, proceed to a graduate degree in journalism, and get hired as analysts. Now they are experts, ready to take on Putin and the Iranian Ayatollahs at age 30." . . .

'Kiss of Death': Democrats keep Hillary off campaign trail

"Hillary Clinton is the kiss of death and she represents the part of the Democratic Party that led to historic losses and that elected Donald Trump president," said a leading Democratic strategist who requested anonymity because of fear of political retribution.
Washington Examiner  "Hillary Clinton was once the face of the Democratic Party, a celebrity name who could draw thousands to rallies and was the all-but-certain first female president of the United States. Now, she is viewed as "the kiss of death" for candidates.

"As the midterm election campaigns enter the home stretch, the former secretary of state, first lady, senator, and 2016 Democratic nominee is almost completely absent from the campaign trail. Most Democrats are keen to keep it that way, fearing that her reappearance could cost them a golden opportunity of winning back control of Congress.
"Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, are due to go back on the road next month, embarking on a 13-city tour in which they will conduct “one-of-a-kind conversations" about "the most impactful moments in modern history". But Democratic strategists are relieved that their first event will be 12 days after Americans go to the polls on Nov 6.
" 'I think they're measuring how they can have the best, positive impact and have kind of decided to wait until after the election," said Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill.
"One House Democrat said the Clintons were not missed. "I have not seen Hillary or Bill at all — and I’m very grateful for that," he said. "When I think of people who have been part of our push to retake the House, I just don’t think of them at all. ... I think it’s a very good thing that they’re not being visible. It wouldn’t help our candidates." . . .
. . . "Clinton's popularity sits at a record low, according to a Gallup poll taken in September. Only 36 percent view her favorably, including 30 percent of independents and 77 percent of Democrats." . . .
. . .  "Democrats don't want her to campaign for them because everywhere she goes she carries this stench of death and is the only political figure in America that is less popular than Donald Trump," said the Democratic strategist. "That's a real testament to her.  . . .
. . . "Every time that she goes out and speaks, it's a bad thing for the Democratic Party. ... She had the most catastrophic presidential campaign in history. If we're trying to say, 'We want to turn the page, we want to usher in a new era of Democratic politics,' she is the worst possible spokesperson, face, or endorser for any campaign that's trying to do that.' " . . .
Otherwise, she would be just great!

Hillary Clinton Is Dangerous;  "Neither she nor her party can be trusted with power anymore."
. . . She declared, in other words, that the peaceful transfer of power which has long been the hallmark of our system of government now applies only when her side wins and that she won’t stop stoking unrest until the “deplorables” learn their place: “But until then,” she said, “the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.” By “strength” she means “violence,” as experienced by Republicans Steve Scalise and Rand Paul. The last time leading Democrats utilized such irresponsible language was in 1860, when their refusal to accept the result of an election caused a war that got 600,000 Americans killed. . . .

Liberal Protester Threatens to Throw Conservative Reporter to the Ground and Rape Her

The Gateway Pundit
"Kaitlin Bennett is the grassroots director of Liberty Hangout and founder of Campus Carry Now."
"On Wednesday night Kaitlin was interviewing liberal protesters outside the massive Trump rally in Erie, Pennsylvania.
"One man threatened to throw her down and rape her."Feminists around the man defended him and denied it happened."This is today’s Democrat Party."An unhinged violent mob.

Cruz vs O’Rourke: State Interests or Hollywood Glitz?

Victory Girls
Conservatives need to remember two things. First, appearances aren’t everything. The fact Cruz doesn’t have as many yard signs out O’Rourke doesn’t mean he’s already lost the race. In my part of the state during the 2016 election, the Clinton signs far outnumbered Trump’s. Yet voters turned out for Trump.
Cruz vs O’Rourke: State Interests or Hollywood Glitz?"It’s been awhile since Texas has seen a Senate race like the one between Senator Ted Cruz and Beto O’Rourke. It is more than a choice between Republican and Democrat. Texans must choose between a conservative senator, one who has proven he shares many of our concerns and values, and the Democratic challenger who seems more interested in honing his national image than in listening to what’s important to his constituency.
"It is easy to worry about Senator Cruz’s chance for re-election. It seems barely a week goes by when Beto isn’t on some national talk show. He appeared on Ellen. He’s been interviewed in Rolling Stone. And let’s not forget his appearance on Late Night with Stephen Colbert. Joe Kennedy III will be appearing with him later this month to help drum up support. It doesn’t take much imagination to realize he is being groomed for bigger and better things by the DNC. The problem is Texas will suffer if he does somehow manage to defeat Cruz.
"The election is far from decided. A number of conservatives have expressed concern. Everywhere you turn, you find O’Rourke campaign signs. Drive through many neighborhoods and the signs for Beto far outnumber those for Senator Cruz. For much of the campaign season, the media and polls have gleefully rubbed their hands together, telling us how their darling Beto is going to trounce Ted Cruz.
"Except. . . .
"Texas has been a Red State for several decades now. Our U. S. Senators are Republicans, as are our governor, lieutenant governor and every other statewide office holder.
"But that hasn’t stopped Beto and his handlers.
. . .
"After months of Beto leading Cruz in the polls, the tide has turned. The latest polls show Cruz has not only caught up to O’Rourke but has pulled ahead. The cries and panicked beating of chests has already begun. Vanity Fair has a new post about the election and the title says it all." . . .

O'Rourke doesn't mind kneeling during the National Anthem
Likewise, taking a knee at a football game, O'Rourke explained, is a way to peacefully point out that "black men, unarmed, black teenagers, unarmed, and black children, unarmed, are being killed at a frightening level right now, including by members of law enforcement, without accountability and without justice.”
Stop the Press Before It Profiles Beto O’Rourke Again  . . . "He exudes youth (he’s 46). Cruz looks old (he’s 47). He makes reporters nostalgic for the 1960s by conjuring the spirit of Robert Kennedy, complete with the bangs, the teeth, the rolled-up sleeves, the paeans to the oppressed, the uplift and the liberal platitudes." . . .

No matter what, Elizabeth Warren will be loved by the left

But Hillary shows us that in spite of everything we learn about someone female and contemptible, the left will love them intensely.

General Kelly reveals the truth about Elizabeth Warren: She's uncouth in private
" . . .What an impolite arrogant woman.  She immediately began insulting our people accusing them of not following the court order, insulting and abusive behavior towards those covered by the pause . . ."
"Democratic presidential frontrunner hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren always prides herself on being the candidate of the little guy.  In her old-fashioned granny suits with her old-fashioned glasses, she speaks in a soft, syrupy voice and calls herself a consumer advocate.  Naturally, there's not a left-wing cause on Earth the Massachusetts Democrat won't support, and of course, as a professional fake Indian with affirmative action professorships under her belt, an incongruous house-flipping history, an Imelda-sized wardrobe, and a big bankbook, she knows how to play the games, academic or otherwise.
"But she always portrays herself as nice.  She doesn't have that hectoring, cackling, manic, revolting voice you hear from Hillary Clinton.  Nope, Warren's always soft, soothing, and smooth.
"But then we hear how she acts in private." . . .
But Mazie Hirono would say she must be believed and the General should just shut up!

Cherokee author: “I Won’t Support An Elizabeth Warren Presidency While She Appropriates My Identity”

"Rebecca Nagle: “If Warren falsely claimed to be related to the queen of England or Elvis, people would dismiss her as a kook”'  . . .
"Elizabeth Warren is going to run for president, that’s becoming more clear by the day.

"Among Warren’s pre-planning is trying to shed the problem that has dogged her since 2012, her false claim to be Native American.
"Warren has used the Boston Globe and other friendly outlets to claim that she never actually benefited from claiming to be Native American for employment purposes. But that is somewhat besides the point. She tried to benefit from misappropriation of Native American identity, and that doesn’t sit well with Rebecca Nagle.
"Nagle is a member of the Cherokee Nation. She previously has written critically of Warren at the left-wing Think Progress in a November 2017 op-ed that generated a lot of attention,

She is not from us. She does not represent us. She is not Cherokee….
Oh, please. While it is nice to see Warren get push-back, I get so sick of all this cultural, racist, sexist balkanization. But then, being a man, Mazie Hirono wants me to "just shut up". TD

Liberal Media: Our Mobs Are Not Mobs, So Don’t Call Them Mobs

Political Cartoons by Mike Lester
Legal Insurrection  "As someone who attended and wrote about Tea Party protests in 2009 and 2010, it has been surreal to watch folks at CNN and MSNBC twist themselves into knots to defend the recent actions of the left.
I clearly remember Democrats and their media allies using words like “dangerous” and “mob” to describe people who obtained protest permits and cleaned up their own trash. Everything is different now.
"Groups of angry leftists are hunting down Republicans and members of the Trump cabinet to harass in public places, clawing at the doors of the Supreme Court, and accosting members of the Senate in the halls of the Capitol building. But the folks at CNN and MSNBC are clutching their pearls at the suggestion that these are mobs.

What today's Democrats do:

Kavanaugh on Campus Week in Higher Education

Legal Insurrection  "Your weekly report on campus news."
"Campus progressives are not taking the confirmation of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court very well.
"Like, at all.
"Meanwhile…
"Compare and contrast.
"All leftism, all the time.
"Crazy." . . .
Who would you prefer to meet on a dark street? These people?

Or these violence - capable drones?

Other Republican Presidents, intimidated by the left, would have abandoned Kavanaugh.  And the Democrats would have still hated that Republican.

Conrad Black writes: Trump Wins the Kavanaugh Poker Match  "When the cant and emotionalism and bilious partisanship have subsided, the Kavanaugh episode will be seen as a decisive watershed." . . .
Large elements of the party, especially some the female senators, including Kirsten Gillibrand, Mazie Hirono, and Kamala Harris, said Ford had to be believed because she was a woman, and Hirono helpfully added that American men should “shut up.” The most egregious of the Democratic male posers on the committee, Cory Booker and Richard Blumenthal, fell in like obedient eunuchs with the opinion that held that since Ford had appeared, had only one head, and repeated her allegations in sentences, that was proof of Kavanaugh’s criminality.

One Ford Narrative Too Many

Political Cartoons by Chip Bok
Victor Davis Hanson  . . . "Senate prosecutor Rachel Mitchell might have proven in court more a depositioner than an inquisitor in her seemingly circular questioning, but in retrospect she proved a brilliant interrogator nonetheless in getting Ford to testify to a host of things that simply could not all be true—and would come back to haunt Ford in Mitchell’s damning summary of Ford’s likely untruths.
'And why exactly were there so many contradictions as outlined in Mitchell’s written summation?
"Christine Ford in July may have had no idea that her original anonymous accusation would ever become sensationalized publicly, much less put her into a position of trying to reconcile a number of irreconcilable narratives.
"Instead, Ford had initially thought a single anonymous but poisonous letter would do the trick far better than had previous weeks of grandstanding Democratic baiting, demonstrations, and walkouts. A last-minute drive-by and anonymous charge of sexual assault would panic Republicans with the mere whiff of #MeTooism, shock and cower a goody-two-shoes, family-man Kavanaugh, and thus force a beleaguered, pre-midterm-anxious President Trump to withdraw the nomination—all without the disclosure of Ford’s name and thus without any further need to substantiate her narratives.
"As a side note, in this context, I am confused by the bipartisan outrage solely directed at Senator Dianne Feinstein’s or her staff’s lowdown leaking of Ford’s name. Of course, it was unethical and so typical of the twilight years of the senior senator from California. But, then again, so is authoring an anonymous hit piece without any corroborating evidence but with misleading written assertions (such as how Ford sought “medical treatment” for the assault—without disclosing she meant marriage counseling 36 years after the fact.) It seems far less noble to charge Kavanaugh with sexual assault anonymously than to have come forward at the outset and demonstrate the charge transparently. The cloak of anonymity does even more damage to the idea of jurisprudence than does the unethical removal of it by a would-be enabler.
"Yet the radical change of events that followed the disclosure of Ford’s name did lead to discovery of lots of Ford narratives with still more to come." . . .

Maxine Waters hit with 3 ethics violation charges

Personal Liberty  . . . "CBS News reports that the charges related to whether Waters gave inappropriate assistance to a bank that got federal bail-out money and to which she had personal connections. The ethics committee charged that Waters organized a meeting in 2008 between Treasury officials and executives from OneUnited Bank, where her husband was once a board member and had large investments. The bank received $12 million from the federal government’s Troubled Asset Relief Program.
Waters with the white-hating Farrakhan

"Waters serves on the House Financial Services Committee, and there have been rumors for some time that she had acted inappropriately regarding the bailout funds.

"According to CBS, Waters has defended her request for the meeting between Treasury officials and OneUnited executives as part of her efforts to advocate on behalf of minority-owned businesses. She maintains she is innocent of any wrongdoing.

"The charges are that she violated a House rule that members must “behave at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House;” that she violated the “spirit” of the House rule that prohibits a member from receiving compensation for exerting improper influence from her position in Congress; and that she violated the Code of Ethics for Government Service.
"She will face a public [trial] before the Ethics Committee in the fall."

Brutality is in the Eye of E. Holder

Stilton's Place

. . . "Hillary Clinton, who once swore to accept the results of the election in which Donald Trump kicked her fanny, just declared "You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That's why I believe if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that's when civility can start again. But until then the only thing Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength."

"Hang on - we're pretty sure that there's a word that distills that whole thought. "Strength" applied in a way that lacks "civility"...  Oh yeah, now we remember! That word is violence.

"And let's not forget Mad Maxine Waters, who helped pour gasoline on this anti-American fire by saying "If you see anyone from the Cabinet in a restaurant, a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and create a crowd! And you push back on them! And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere!" Except, perhaps, the death camps that Maxine and her chums seemingly have in mind for citizens who won't do what they're told." . . .
