Dianne Feinstein Reportedly Caught on Hot Mic Talking About Amy Coney Barrett's Religion

WJ  "
Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California was caught on a hot mic discussing Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s faith, according to a report.

On Thursday, following the conclusion of confirmation hearings for Barrett, Christian Broadcasting Network editor TrĂ© Goins-Phillips, with the company’s Faithwire News, shared an apparent hot mic moment involving Feinstein speaking about Barrett.

The California Democrat, per the video, was discussing Barrett’s pro-life stance.

“She’s been pro-life for a long time. So I suspect with her, it is deeply personal and comes with her religion,” Feinstein reportedly said of Barrett." . . .

Judge Barrett meets TDS

Silvio Canto, Jr.  "Let's hope that classes in the country are not watching the Supreme Court hearings.  Once upon a time, teachers would tune in to congressional hearings to teach about the wonders of our democracy.  What we've seen this week is a pathetic display of what Senate Democrats have turned into.  It's all about abortion or showing their crazy base that they will do, or say, anything to defend Roe v. Wade.  Do you wonder how many centrist Democrats are looking at this and getting sick?

"Let's sample the Democrats, as reported by Stephen Kruiser:

The display put on by the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee on Tuesday ranged from just sad to a most perfect display of what demented partisan hatred can do to a person.

Kamala Harris finally peeled off that campaign aura of calm and reminded us all just how off-putting she is. Harris remained in her office to question Barrett, just to keep the COVID panic porn ratcheted up.

Rather than being thoughtful — which she's probably incapable of anyway — Harris opted for ad hominem.

"Here is more:

Amy Klobuchar was fairly pathetic, admitting that she'd kind of hoped it would be her who was nominated for the Supreme Court one day rather than Barrett.

Gotcha, Sen. Sour Grapes. Klobuchar flailed about while questioning ACB about Roe v Wade and precedent. ACB got her so twisted around at one point that Klobuchar was unable to get out a coherent sentence.

"Then came that awful woman from the beautiful state of Hawaii.  How can people elect such a woman?  They did:

The vilest display of partisan hatred came from the pinched, bitter, and probably evil Mazie Hirono, the senator from Hawaii.

"Her question about "sexual assault" was asked in front of the judge's children.  Senator Hirono told reporters later that she asks that question of every nominee.

"So here we are.  This is what defending unconditional abortion has to done to this party.  They are at the mercy of a crazy radical wing overflowing with partisan hatred.

"Let's hope civics or U.S. history teachers decided to keep the TV off."

It is hard to imagine Joe Biden at the G-7, or mixing it up with China’s President Xi Jinping.

But President Trump’s best path forward is not attacking Biden or Harris. Rather, it is to tell voters what he wants to accomplish in the next four years, and remind them of his considerable past achievements. With the economy under stress, his high ratings on that issue alone should give him four more years.

Fox News   "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stepped in it again. With yet another ill-considered political stunt, she has stirred up President Trump’s base like someone poking a hive of angry hornets, and at the same time put a spotlight on Kamala Harris.

"Neither helps Democrats.

"With much fanfare, Pelosi, D-Calif., introduced a bill that would facilitate removing a president from office should a bipartisan group of legislators agree that he or she was no longer capable of carrying out the duties of his position. She proposed the new legislation to highlight her “concern” that President Trump’s recent bout with COVID-19, for which he was prescribed steroids, had resulted in “some impairment of judgment."

"The bill, which formalizes a remedy allowed by the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, will go nowhere in a GOP-led Senate. The grandstanding move was intended to deflect from Pelosi’s failure to pass a stimulus bill and highlight Trump’s supposedly erratic personality and decision-making. This is the campaign Democrats have chosen to run. Not about issues or policy; it is all about Trump.

"But Pelosi’s move backfired. President Trump hinted that the bill’s real purpose was to make it simpler for Democrats to shove Joe Biden aside, should he win in November, and replace him with his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.

"This was a goof by Pelosi. Many probably believe Trump’s assertion, as they watch Biden struggling with what they see as cognitive impairment. According to a Zogby survey conducted in June, “a majority (55%) of likely voters surveyed thought it was more likely (much more and somewhat more likely combined) that Vice President Biden is in the early stages of dementia…”

Ask Ann Anything! ACB Edition

A: Let me assure you that even if Roe v. Wade is ever overturned, in California, New York and other liberal states, you will still enjoy a right to abortion right up to birth (at least), and if the baby somehow still survives, you’ll be allowed to bash in his head in with an oxygen tank. AC
Ambassador Stevens' dying words: "Hillary and Obama, please don't let us die!"

Ann Coulter  "With the Amy Coney Barrett hearings in full swing this week, my mailbox has been overflowing with questions from absolutely no readers! Here, I will deliver the answers that no one asked for.

"Q: How can you say it’s fair to fill the seat of a constitutional giant like Ruth Bader Ginsburg with this far-right, anti-choice, conservative woman?

"A: You’re right, RBG had patience, will — and almost no black law clerks. One (1) black law clerk out of 160, to be precise. To borrow from my journalist colleagues, “Are you a white supremacist?”

"Q: So you think it’s OK to just ignore her dying wish?

"A: Touche! But you’ve forgotten that the Dying Wish clause of the Constitution is trumped by the Retire When a Democrat Is President clause. RBG was fully entitled to have a Democrat choose her replacement by retiring in 2014 when Obama was president and she was 81 years old, had already survived two bouts of cancer, two falls that broke her ribs and a heart operation. She chose not to.

"Q: You’re seriously going to claim that ACB is the most qualified Supreme Court nominee?

"A: Of course! Much like being a police chief in modern America, apparently the No. 1 qualification for this job is: being a woman. I don’t know when my party signed onto identity politics, but I’m not happy about it either. At least we didn’t end up with America’s leading “Karen,” Kamala Harris.

"Q: So you think women shouldn’t run for president or sit on the Supreme Court?

"A: Of course they should. But the way we should find them is not to decide Hey, let’s get a woman for this job! Anybody know one? Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir didn’t become the leaders of their nations because someone said, Let’s find a woman!

"Ironically, the Democrats’ best candidate for president this year actually was a woman, but unfortunately, Sen. Amy Klobuchar was not a woman of color. So now the Democrats are saddled with the smirking insufferableness of Kamala as their backup candidate to a guy with senile dementia.

"Q: What are you talking about, Ann? Kamala is the best! She’s hip, she’s cool, she’s brilliant.

"A: Yes, and she called Joe Biden a racist.

"Q: She’s explained that! On Stephen Colbert’s show, she laughed it off, saying: “It was a debate!

"A: Glad to get this on the record. So the official position of the Democratic Party is that it’s fine to falsely accuse a person of racism as long as it’s done to score political points. At least you guys don’t take racism accusations lightly.

"Q: I’m a conservative, and I thought ACB was terrific at the hearings!

"A: If there were an Olympic sport called “Keeping a Straight Face While Being Lectured by Morons,” ACB would take the gold. Though I might recommend that after repeatedly refusing to answer absurd hypotheticals by claiming, “I would need to hear arguments from the litigants and read briefs and consult with my law clerks and talk to my colleagues and go through the opinion-writing process,” maybe Barrett should not have prejudged a pending case by saying she cried when she saw the George Floyd video and citing it as an example of “hatred” and “racism.”

"Instead of the George Washington and the Cherry Tree myth, I guess our new patriotic fable is the George Floyd Was Killed by a Racist Cop myth.

"Q: My grandpa is in a relationship with a California hipster, and no one in the family knows what to do about it.

"A: This isn’t really that kind of advice column, but at least we’re back to Kamala Harris.

"Q: You Republicans are just terrified by a strong woman of color. Mike Pence constantly interrupted her at the vice presidential debate and Harris’ Republican colleagues in the Senate interrupt her all the time. There’s been gobs of press about it, including an article in The New York Times, “The Universal Phenomenon of Men Interrupting Women.”

"A: My imaginary interlocutors are really obnoxious today.

"1) According to ABC News’ Rick Klein, Harris had slightly more speaking time than Pence at the debate.

"2) But I loved how the Biden-Harris campaign had “I’m still speaking!” T-shirts available for sale immediately following the debate. That didn’t look at all pre-planned.

"3) As for senators interrupting Harris, try looking at the videos that are longer than one minute. Invariably, the reason she’s being interrupted is that she is rudely badgering a witness and not allowing him to answer. Yes or no! Yes or no! Please allow me to paint you into a corner by accepting all the ridiculous constraints of my question without further comment or explanation." . . .  Read the rest here...

Former Portland Democrat Congressional Candidate: We Brought Down Two Statues (Language)

Breitbart   "A former Democrat congressional candidate claimed on Twitter to have participated in the toppling of two statues in Portland, Oregon, Sunday night. The former candidate tweeted, “We brought down 2 statues.” During Sunday’s “Day of Rage” event, “peaceful protesters” vandalized buildings and tore down statues of former Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

“ 'It was so fucking wet tonight,” Amanda Siebe tweeted shortly after midnight Monday morning. “But still, we brought down 2 statues. It was an amazing thing to see those statues fall! Not a damn copper in sight!” . . .

Pelosi Loses It During CNN Interview On Coronavirus Relief, Demands Host Show Her ‘Respect’…

Bret Baier Smoothly Swoops in With an Offer for Nancy Pelosi After Disastrous CNN Interview   "As my colleague Bonchie previously reported, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) gave one of the most disastrous interviews in the history of interviews last night during a wild appearance on Wolf Blitzer’s “Situation Room” program on CNN.

"For those who missed it, watch a 1-minute clip from the interview below, which happened at the end of their contentious exchange. Pelosi became absolutely unhinged after Blitzer suggested she not let the “perfect be the enemy of the good” on the COVID relief bill:" . . .

Nancy Pelosi goes into meltdown on live TV  . . . She melted down like the Wizard of Oz's witch after a bucket of water was thrown when asked why she wasn't willing to present President Trump a stimulus bill for simple relief to American workers hard hit by the COVID lockdowns.

"And we are not talking about a question from a rat-dog like Brit Hume or Catherine Herridge.  The interviewer who drew House speaker Nancy Pelosi's meltdown was the affable Wolf Blitzer, whose soft spot for the Democrats is pretty well known.

"According to Fox News:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., accused CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer Tuesday of being "an apologist ... for the Republican position" during a stunning interview in which she grew visibly frustrated with "The Situation Room" anchor's questions.

The fireworks began when Blitzer asked Pelosi why she "won't accept the president's latest [coronavirus] stimulus offer." . . .

"Pelosi threw out the biggest insult she could think of to Blitzer, calling him an apologist for the Republicans, in her attempt to shut him down. " . . .

"CNN is not only rabidly anti-Trump, they are rabidly anti-Republican in general."  Day after day, their line up is filled with biased vitriol that’s most often not based in any fact. After all, this is the home network of figures like Jim Acosta, Don Lemon, and yes, Wolf Blitzer, who’s no stranger to partisan bias himself." . . .

Media Slamming ACB For Using Phrase “Sexual Preference” As Bigoted But They Used It Just Weeks Ago Themselves…

 Weasel Zippers

The Fragments of a Civilization

Victor Davis Hanson

Government crimes and coverups, a corrupt media, a candidate hiding and lying to the public, and plans to undo the foundations of the republic

"Piece by piece, our civilization is beginning to disassemble. And the agents of fragmentation are as obvious as the efforts to conceal them are frantic.

St. Hillary the Colluder

"In nonchalant fashion, we learned last week from newly released government documents that Hillary Clinton’s campaign team cooked up the Trump-Russia collusion hoax as a way of diverting attention from her own ongoing embarrassing email scandals.

"Clinton, through three firewalls, paid foreign ex-spy Christopher Steele to create a bogus smear-Trump dossier. Steele, who had no data on, or information about any such collusion, apparently drew largely on fabrications dreamed up by a former Russian spy working at the liberal Brookings Institution. The convoluted conspiracy baffled even the sneaky Russians, who were confused when they got wind of it — possibly through the direct participation of one of their own assets.

"Did we then spend millions of dollars on Robert Mueller’s nearly two-year investigation, a wild goose chase consuming millions of collective media hours hyping fantasies, and paralyzing an administration for three years — all for Hillary Clinton’s machinations, the apparent true and only Russian colluder?

"John Brennan’s CIA intercepted Russian concerns over such a ruse. He even briefed President Obama on the Clinton caper. Yet the U.S. investigatory and judicial branches did not stop Clinton’s efforts to subvert a rival’s campaign. Indeed, many of the highest officials of the Obama administration shortly joined her efforts to seed the fraudulent Steele dossier throughout the Obama government and thus into the media as well — their efforts peaking in timely fashion right before the November 2016 election.

"Translate all that, and the evidence grows that Hillary Clinton, in felonious fashion, paid for the Steele dossier to subvert an election and, after the election, to destroy a presidential transition and indeed a presidency itself — government efforts that historians one day will assess as the most intense effort on record to destroy a U.S. president."     . . .

'READY TO HELP' Hillary Clinton says she’s ready to serve in a Biden administration and help ‘fix’ America

The Sun    "HILLARY Clinton has said she would serve in Joe Biden's administration in order to "fix" the country.

"Speaking at the 19th Represents Summit on Thursday, Clinton said: "I’m ready to help in any way I can." . . .

"When Clinton endorsed Biden, she said: "Just think of what a difference it would make right now if we had a president who not only listened to the science, put facts over fiction, but brought us together."

" '[Someone who] showed the kind of compassion and caring that we need from our president, and which Joe Biden has been exemplifying throughout his entire life."

" 'Think of what it would mean if we had a real president and not just someone who plays one on TV."

"Clinton, who ran against Donald Trump four years ago, is in full support of Biden's VP pick of Kamala Harris, according to 19thnews.

“ 'I still hope, especially with Kamala on the ticket, that the coverage of women running for president or vice president will be less sexist, less sensationalist, less trivializing," she said.

“ 'I told them that they would just have to be ready for that and be able to ride through it.”

Suspicious Dem questions for Amy Coney Barrett suggest a set-up

http://www.terrellaftermath.com/

Suspicious Dem questions for Amy Coney Barrett suggest a set-up  "For those who have watched the Senate confirmation hearing of Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court justice, we know one thing:  facing the inevitability of her confirmation, the Democrats are using this entire hearing as a big, fat campaign ad for Joe Biden.  It's all about COVID, the ACA, and health care — just like his entire shtick for the last few months.

"But is this really all they are up to?  History proves that the Dems are usually up to no good, especially when they seem to be behaving.  It's possible they will just use the remainder of their time to filibuster, talk at the nominee, try to humiliate her, and push her into saying something inflammatory that they can use against her nomination and the president.  It's possible they are just going to let the process play out and only hope to gain some political advantage from it — nothing more." . . .

. . . "Putting it all together, my guess is that they have someone who will say ACB made offensive remarks about his sex directly to him, in a class, or in one of her legal opinions, and that this caused the accuser irreparable harm, pain, and suffering.  This  person might go even farther and claim (lie) that he were sexually harassed by her.

"So buckle up, girls and boys (and those who self-identify as girls and boys).  The Dems are poised to pull another Kavanaugh on our nominee and Bork the living hell out of her.  I may be wrong about this, but if I'm not, the Republicans had better not capitulate to the Dems.  They must put on their big boy pants, ignore the Dems wholesale, call the vote, and swear Barrett in faster than you can say Biden/Harris."

Biden Accuser Tara Reade to Release Memoir One Week Before Election Day

 Breitbart

"Tara Reade is writing a memoir to detail her journey since she came out against Joe Biden and alleged that he sexually assaulted her in 1993.

"In March, Reade, like several other women before her, went public with claims that Biden had touched her inappropriately without consent. That incident is to be told in Reade’s new book, Left Out: When The Truth Doesn’t Fit In, which is set to be released on October 27, one week before the presidential election.

"According to Fox News, the excerpt reads:

Tara Reade shares the aftermath of the re-victimization of speaking out about her sexual assault, with then-Sen. Joe Biden in 1993, where the shaming, attacks and threats instigated by the media set (sic) her into a personal tailspin. Tara-rized viciously by cyberbullies, receiving death threats, and fearing for her life and those of her family, Tara tells how living with no regret and coming forward was right for her conscious (sic). The moment that defines Tara will not confine, but instead move her forward by reclaiming her identity and pulling back together the pieces of life left.

"While Biden has denied Reade’s claims, Jacquie Jordan, founder of TVGuestpert Publishing, told Fox News that she believes Reade’s story is “worth” understanding.

“ 'As a woman-owned business, we believe Tara Reade’s story was worth being written, memorialized and shared,” Jordan said." . . .

Whatever Biden did to Tara, Bruce Springsteen is OK with it.

Mazie Hirono Cements Her Insanity, Asks Amy Coney Barrett if She’s Ever Raped Someone  "Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono is a certified insane person. That’s been known for a while, yet she continues to up the bar every time she ends up in the spotlight during a hearing. After previously trying to disqualify Amy Coney Barrett over her religion back in 2017, something that’s blatantly unconstitutional, Hirono strapped on the water skis and had the guy driving the boat floor it towards the shark in today’s confirmation hearing.

"This woman is legitimately the dumbest person to ever serve in the U.S. Senate, and that’s a position with an awful lot of competition." . . .

In what was a convoluted, nonsensical series of “questioning,” the Hawaii Senator decides that judges should in fact rule based on sympathies and not the law. Think about how crazy that is? Hirono also apparently has no idea what a term as basic as “severability” means. Keep in mind, this woman graduated from Georgetown with a law degree. My word, if there was ever sufficient proof a university should be shut down, this qualifies.

This election reflects America’s peculiar, and very dangerous, class war

Bookworm Room

America is in the midst of a weird Marxist class war, with the upper classes and dispossessed rebelling against the working and middle classes.

"Victor Davis Hanson was on Tucker Carlson on Thursday. Hanson is always interesting, but this time he knocked it out of the park and into the next county. What  he talked about was the fact that Trump represents ordinary Americans.

"Usually when people say, “If I were Trump, I would say blah, blah, blah,” I’m thinking “yeah, yeah, whatever. I know what you’d say, but it’s Trump who figured out how to get into the White House on the first try.”

"This time, though, when I listened to VDH, I realized that he was saying something extraordinarily important. This isn’t just the speech that Trump should make. Instead, this represents one of the most cogent statements I’ve heard about Trump, the leader, and his coalition, the everyday Americans. VDH makes patently clear that America is in the midst of a revolutionary class war, and one that the working- and true middle-class (as opposed to the “elite” upper middle class) must win if America is to survive:

. . .

"I wanted to stand up and cheer when VDH was done.

"And you know what’s really ironic? Since 1867, when Marx published Das Kapital, Marxists have been the ones who framed everything as class warfare. That’s part of why Marxism never really worked here in America the way it did in the rest of the world.

"America, after all, didn’t have fixed classes and it always had economic fluidity. With hard work (and, yes, luck) you could make it in America — and then you’d really be something. In the Old World (Europe, Asia, Latin America, etc.), no matter how hard you worked, you couldn’t make it and, even if you made money, you were never “something” in those societies.

. . . "Ideologues will often act against their own best interests. America’s white collar, wealthy, college educated Democrats are so terrified of the constructive class that they are siding with the violent radicals and anarchists to take political power back from Trump. They’re riding the tiger, though, because just a few years ago, their foot soldiers were calling themselves the 99% and vowing to kill all the Wall Street people.
"These are dangerous, crazy times. All I can do is urge you to go to the polls on November 3 and do everything you can to ensure that Trump and Congressional Republicans win in a landslide."  Emphasis mine; TD
