"Now that the committee’s work is drawing near a close after two years, with chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., promising to release a final report soon, the Democrat members are demanding a bigger role in the drafting of the report.
"But Gowdy, though “mildly amused” at this latest bid by the Democrats, is not surprised that they would make one last gasp at upending his report. He let them know how he felt in a scathing letter sent this weekend to the top committee Democrat, Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings.
