Obama: Whose Side Is He On?

Mona Charen

The president has a pattern of downplaying Islamist motivations and dismissing Americans’ fears.
"Whole doctoral dissertations could be devoted to the question of what makes President Obama angry and what does not. His Tuesday broadside against Donald Trump stood in marked contrast to Sunday’s somewhat cold response to the Orlando massacre. This is a pattern.

Mr. Obama did not name Trump, referring to him only as a “politician who tweets and appears on cable-news shows.” I’m not inclined to defend Trump, and will not do so now — his notion that we bar all Muslims from traveling to the United States is laden with unintended consequences. But President Obama’s studied refusal to acknowledge the reality of Islamic-inspired violence has helped to create the Trump phenomenon. In fact, it may well be the greatest contribution to Trump’s success. Some say that presidential elections are often referenda on the last guy: Carter was the anti-Nixon, Reagan was the anti-Carter, Clinton was the anti-Bush, and Obama was the anti-Bush. Thus, Trump is the anti-Obama." . . .

. . . He never tires of slaying straw men. It’s not a matter of intoning magic words. The critique of Obama is that he has so often projected the image of Islam’s defense counsel instead of America’s commander-in-chief.
. . .
. . . When ISIS-linked terrorists decapitated their American captive James Foley, and released the video on the Internet, Obama went golfing. He later said he regretted this, but that couldn’t erase the signal of indifference.
. . .
After Muslim terrorists turned the Brussels airport into an abattoir in March, Mr. Obama attended a baseball game in Cuba. Before the bodies had all been buried, he danced the tango in Argentina.
. . .
Comically Incorrect
By steadfastly refusing to make distinctions among Muslims based upon ideology and conduct — by insisting that Muslims are no more plagued by violent extremism than, say, Presbyterians — he has opened the door to Trump, who also makes no distinctions.

Christians Didn’t Commit the Orlando Massacre

David French at National Review  "We are now fully through the looking glass. A Muslim man walked into a gay nightclub and gunned down 49 men and women, most of them gay or lesbian. He paused in the middle of his massacre to call 911 and a local television station, making clear that he wanted the world to know he had pledged allegiance to ISIS. There are no dog whistles here. This is a textbook example of jihadism in action, plain and simple.

"Yet somehow, Omar Mateen’s massacre has put American Christians on the defensive.

"Yesterday, Anderson Cooper grilled Florida attorney general Pam Bondi, accusing her of hypocrisy for expressions of support for slain Floridians. Why was she hypocritical? Because she opposed same-sex marriage:" . . .

DID ANYONE TALKING ABOUT TRUMP'S SPEECH ACTUALLY HEAR IT?

Fournier repeated the fake fact currently sweeping the nation about Trump thinking he deserves congratulations, writing, "Donald Trump wants a pat on the back." But then Fournier made the fatal mistake of quoting Trump's tweet allegedly saying this: "Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don't want congrats, I want toughness & vigilance. We must be smart!"
How's this for smart, tough and vigilant?
Political Cartoons by Henry Payne

Ann Coulter  "The media have lost their minds after Trump's magnificent speech on Monday. It's all hands on deck, no attack is too extreme. Their main point is: DO NOT LOOK AT THAT SPEECH. It has "words that wound." Much too dangerous even to read it.

"Instead of reporting what Trump said, the media give us the "gist" of it (in the sense of an unrecognizable distortion). It was awful, Hitlerian, beneath our dignity as a nation. They lie about what he said and then attack their own lies as if they're attacking Trump.

"The Washington Post's headline, which got their reporters banned from Trump's press briefings, was: "Donald Trump Seems to Connect President Obama to the Orlando Shooting."

"I guess OK, You're Right, didn't sound professional, so the Post pretended not to understand Trump's speech, at all. We can't makes heads or tails of it, but he seems to be saying ...

"One thing Trump is not, is unclear.

"Contrary to the Post's headline suggesting that Trump had posited some crazy theory about Obama secretly meeting with Omar Mateen to plot the attack -- No, this gun is much better for a mass shooting, Omar -- Trump criticized the Obama administration policies that are not keeping us safe. (It's completely unprecedented to respond to a mass murder by criticizing the policies that allowed it to happen!)

"After San Bernardino and Orlando -- also, the Boston Marathon, Fort Hood, Little Rock, Chattanooga and Times Square -- quite obviously, Trump is right. " . . .

George H.W. Bush’s Letter Left For Bill Clinton Upon Entering White House

Weasel Zippers

"What a beautiful classy letter, right? What was the Clinton team’s response upon leaving to George W.? They stole and trashed various items, including removing/impairing all the ‘W’s on typewriters in the White House."

Truth or Fiction   . . . "In response, White House press secretary Ari Fleischer outlined the details of the damage, most of which was in the Eisenhower Execitive Office Building adjacent to the White House.  On June 3, 2001 The Washington Post quoted Fleischer as saying that the damage included the removal of the letter “W” from 100 computer keyboards, five missing brass nameplates with the presidential seal on them, 75 telephones with cover plates missing or apparently intentionally plugged into the  wrong wall outlets, six fax machines relocated in the same way, ten cut phone lines, two historic door knobs missing, overturned desks and furniture in about 20 percent of the offices, obscene graffiti in six offices, and eight 14-foot loads of usable office supplies recovered from the trash.  According to Fleischer, there was one incident in the White House itself, a photocopy machine that had copies of naked people hidden in the paper tray so they would come out from time to time with other copies. " . . .

Petulant juvenile: Obama’s tantrum a striking display of failed leadership

"It is understandable that Americans do not want to hear in such an outrageous act of war that is the Orlando massacre that they are the enemy.  Leading an entire nation, rather than a political party, is much more difficult than the more ideological task of a campaign. Ben Voth

Michael Goodwin

"If it is true that the best defense is a good offense, President Obama should be celebrating in the end zone now. Obviously furious over criticism that his anti-terror policies are weak and that the Orlando slaughter proves it, he went on a televised tirade to let America know he’s mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
"He laid waste to a field of straw men, cable-TV pundits and the always-evil “partisan rhetoric,” by which he means anyone who disagrees with him. It was a striking display of personal anger and pent-up grievances — and a total failure of leadership during a national crisis." . . .
On Islamic Terror, Words Do Matter  . . . "It is understandable that Americans do not want to hear in such an outrageous act of war that is the Orlando massacre that they are the enemy.  Leading an entire nation, rather than a political party, is much more difficult than the more ideological task of a campaign.  In a world of 24-hour campaigning, even once elected, that patriotic duty may be easy to forget." . . .

Florida governor (a Republican): Obama 'has not called' after Orlando terrorist attack   . . . "It's typically commonplace for the president to call the governor of a state after such catastrophic events.
"Scott said that he received a call from former President George W. Bush, who said that he and former first lady Laura Bush "were praying for us."
"Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president, also phoned him, Scott said." . . .

Controversial Ariz. Pastor Sparks Anger by Saying 'Gays Should Be Executed'

Christian Post
Steven Anderson

"My children are homeschooled, I don't want them to be brainwashed by the government into thinking that there is no God and that it's normal for a man to have sex with another man. That's the kind of filth that they're gonna learn in the public school," he said. "I'd rather let them grow up in the freedom of being a Bible believing Christian. That's where the real freedom is."

Lord help us! All we who carry the name of Jesus Christ and have claimed His blood, shed to redeem us from human iniquity have to be sickened by the words of this so-called "pastor". He tries to place his own personal animosity on a par with Scripture, calling for the murder of gays, forgetting that the words of the New Testament also condemn anger, gossip, adultery and many other sins that are in our hearts. Shall we also murder any slanderer we encounter?

The left says not to condemn a religion because of the actions of a few, but you can be sure all followers of Christ will be blackened because of this man's words.
All who name the name of Christ as Savior must be vocal in condemning this man's words as I certainly do.
Jesus said all who come to Him he will in no wise cast out, but will cleanse their hearts including Muslims who turn to Christ, Pastors such as this and even the equal darkness in my own heart.   The Tunnel Dweller

On the Orlando murderer and the PC that enabled him

Orlando shooter Omar Mateen was gay, former classmate says....Palm Beach Post   . . . "He said Mateen asked him out romantically." . . .  “ 'We went to a few gay bars with him, and I was not out at the time, so I declined his offer,” the former classmate said. He asked that his name not be used.". . .

Daniel Gilroy, the co-worker who warned of Omar Mateen’s deranged hatred, earlier was a victim of political correctness   "Political correctness is a theme woven through the backstory of the Orlando nightclub jihad killer.  Law enforcement and his employer were unable to cull out Omar Mateen from his job as a security guard and access to serious weapons, enabling his short but bloody career as a self-radicalized jihadi.
"Heartbreakingly, there was a man who tried to warn of this smoldering human inferno.  The Los Angeles Times explains:
Daniel Gilroy, 44, worked with Mateen for about a year as a security guard at PGA Village South in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
"I complained multiple times that he was dangerous, that he didn't like blacks, women, lesbians and Jews," Gilroy told The Times on Sunday.
Mateen threatened violence in front of him, Gilroy said. Once when Mateen saw an African American man driving past, he said he wished he could kill all black people, using a racial slur, Gilroy recalled.
"You meet bigots," Gilroy said, "But he was above and beyond. He was always angry, sweating, just angry at the world."
"Gilroy’s warning went unheeded:" . . .

. . . "Why? According to Gilroy, it failed to act because Mateen is Muslim".  . . . "It wouldn’t be surprising if some employers fail to discipline Muslims who would be punished but for their religion, due to a combination of political correctness and fear of being sued. Nor would it be surprising if law enforcement agencies are reluctant to follow leads, or follow through on them, for similar reasons." . . .

Political Cartoons by Glenn McCoy

Orlando Attack Is a Failure of Obama’s ‘Politically Correct’ Policy, Analysts Say   . . . "Former FBI Agent John Guandolo said the FBI mistakenly closed its investigation because it had no idea how to respond to jihadist threats because the bureau does not teach agents about Islamist doctrine, such as Sharia law, that is used as a guide for terrorist operations and activities.
“ 'This investigation was closed because FBI leadership has systematically refused to look at and teach Sharia to its agents because it is getting its advice on Islam from Muslims who are hostile to us and our system of government,” Guandolo said." . . .

Obama's Heart  "Obama referred to the massacre as “an act of terror and an act of hate.” In the course of perpetrating the massacre, Omar Mateen reportedly made a 911 call pledging allegiance to the Islamic State. Obama nevertheless plugged gun control and omitted any mention of Islam or the Islamic State."

Obama, Clinton Say 'Disarm' While Failing to Protect   . . . "The administration has a security model that is not working. The FBI is looking for ordinary criminals and "hatemongers." Armed with these descriptions, they keep letting the usual suspects go because they don't fit the bill. Yet time and again they come back as a surprise.
"Maybe the greatest trick Islamic terrorism ever pulled was convincing Obama it didn't exist."

  After Orlando, the Spin begins
After Orlando, the Spin begins  "The horrific attack at an Orlando gay bar by a Muslim who had sworn allegiance to Isis is probably going to be spun as a hate crime. The killer's father has already told the media that his son was disgusted by the sight of a man kissing another man. See! It's homophobia: an assault on the civil rights of the LGBTQ community. Now let's wait for the video to appear that will explain what drove Omar Mateen to slaughter 50 people and wound 53 others. The fact that it is Ramadan and that Omar was well trained and shouted Allahu Akbar while shooting the innocents will be dismissed as well as the fact that he was a registered Democrat. The blame will instead be put on Donald Trump's hateful rhetoric and the NRA gun crowd.

"On ABC, liberal iconic journalist, Tom Brokaw just had to blame the slaughter on the popularity of guns in America." . . .

"PLANNED PARENTHOOD, LEADER IN VIOLENCE AGAINST HUMANS, DEFENDS ISLAMIC TERRORISM"

The Radiance Foundation.

doesn't foment the violence alleged gunman Omar Mateen enacted, toxic masculinity & a global culture of imperialist homophobia does
. . . "On its webpage, the center declares: “Members of Husseini Islamic Center (HIC), stand united with our fellow Americans in categorically condemning this attack. We share the grief and sorrow of the nation and stand united with the Central Florida community and City of Orlando. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the families and loved ones who are victims of this tragedy.”

"Just months earlier, however, this same mosque featured keynote speaker Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar who called for the killing of homosexuals as “the compassionate thing to do”. Referring to homosexuals in a 2013 speech, Sekaleshfar said: “Death is the sentence…Let’s get rid of them.” Somehow, now, this center is seen as the voice of reason among the Orlando Muslim community?
"Never one for reason in this War on Terrorism, Obama has passionately maintained his denial of Islamic terrorism throughout his presidency. He prefers the phrase “violent extremists”. He has promoted the radical LGBT agenda (fining and threatening the very livelihood of those who believe marriage is between a man and a woman) like no other president in history. What, exactly, explains the fervor in which he so desperately avoids the truth and so quickly accuses Americans of being homophobic and Islamophobic?" . . .  (Hat tip to M Fumie Craig)

So, what are ‘moderate’ Muslims saying in Arabic about the Orlando massacre which the media will never show you?

BareNakedIslam "Thanks to the good work of Twitter user @ahmedaa1k, you are able to see what was being said in Arabic by many Muslims in response to the Orlando shooting. Please keep in mind, Ahmed is the individual translating these tweets, not the individual making these abhorrent comments."

Godless Spellchecker's Blog
Thanks to the good work of twitter user @ahmedaa1k, I was able to show you what was being said in Arabic by some people about atheists a while back. The same twitter user has also translated some of the Arabic language responses to the Orlando shooting. It’s not good news either.

Al Sharpton Says People Criticizing Islam After Orlando Are “Accomplices To Terrorism”…

"Yes, he really said that.
"Via HuffPo:
"The nation is mourning once again; senseless violence has again taken innocent lives, ripped families apart and left us with many unanswered questions. As we grieve and try to comprehend the incomprehensible, it is important that we remain united and not fall into the trap of division and hatred. Homophobia and Islamophobia are twin partners to terrorism. As information is slowly being revealed in Orlando, what we are witnessing is a blatant act of homophobia and evil in its worst form. But what is also transpiring in the aftermath of this tragedy is a knee-jerk reaction to blame Islam and Muslims." . . .
Oh, by the way:  Breaking: Islamist Kills Police Officer, Takes Officer’s Family Hostage Near Paris
"The officers reportedly discovered the body of a woman in the house and rescued a 3-year old boy.
"The assailant, reportedly a neighbor, stabbed the police officer nine times in front of the house before taking his wife and son hostage, Le Parisian reported. The outlet said the victim was a deputy chief of the judicial police at the Les Mureaux police station.
"Neighbors calling police claimed they heard the man chanting Islamist slogans, Reuters France reported." . . .

Three American fugitives wanted for murder are guaranteed safety by Cuba - despite U.S. demanding they be brought back to serve justice

More international disrespect toward the United States because of Obama who is not a good judge of character. TD

UK Daily Mail  "Two American fugitives who fled to Cuba after they were accused of killing police officers said that Cuban officials have assured them that detente with the United States will not lead to their extradition.

"The United States and Cuba held a second round of law-enforcement talks last month dedicated partly to resolving the fate of scores of fugitives after more than a half century with almost no cooperation.

"The talks are part of a series of U.S.-Cuba negotiations aimed at normalizing relations after the two countries declared an official end to Cold War hostilities on Dec. 17, 2014." . . .

"Charles Hill (left), a black militant wanted in the 1971 slaying of a New Mexico state policeman, told The Associated Press that Cuban government contacts had recently reassured him he was at no risk of extradition.
Assata Shakur’s is a notorious fugitive convicted of the murder of a New Jersey state trooper

"Nehanda Abiodun (right), another black militant wanted in a 1981 armored car robbery that left two police offers and a security guard dead, told the AP she had recently received a similar promise.
"Cuba is home to dozens of people wanted in the United States on charges ranging from Medicare fraud to killings committed in the name of black and Puerto Rican revolution movements in the 1970s and '80s.

Perhaps Obama will pardon them as he leaves office. Prepare to be angry and stressed out over what this man will do in the time remaining in office.

Clinton Emails on Film

Indiegogo   "THE SITUATION
"Hillary Clinton's staff are currently giving depositions under oath about how she got away with having her illegal private email server when conducting matters of national security.
"The depositions are being filmed, but Hillary's lawyers have managed to persuade the judge to block the release of the tapes in case they are used to make her look bad in the election!" . . .
"The deposition transcripts have been released and we are re-enacting and filming highlights of the depositions.

"Today we're releasing a film of Cheryl Mills' deposition highlights, using the transcript--her actual words. Cheryl Mills has worked for the Clintons for almost 30 years. She was Hillary's Chief of Staff at the State Department.
"Cheryl Mills' evidence is amazing, full of classic Clintonian evasions. She used the phrase "I don't remember" or "I don't recall" 189 times. This deserves to be brought to a wider audience--not censored and hidden away. And we now have it on film. (You can share the film with your friends by sending them to ClintonEmailsOnFilm.com.)
