Israel Orders Buses Bearing Exchanged Terrorists Back to Prison After Sick Hamas Display

Ward Clark; RedState

. . ."Israel ordered the buses carrying the released terrorists from today’s exchange to turn around and get back to prison. The move is in response to the savage images from the release of the hostages that were nearly lynched by those monsters."

. . ."Take a good look at that image. One Israeli, a young woman, was held as a hostage, and on her release, Hamas literally made her walk a hate-filled gauntlet of armed Hamas terrorists. These are not the acts of civilized people.

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement on Thursday:"

Prime Minister Netanyahu: "I view with great severity the shocking scenes during the release of our hostages. This is further proof of the unimaginable cruelty of the Hamas terrorist organization. I demand that the mediators ensure such horrific scenes do not recur and guarantee the safety of our hostages. Anyone who dares to harm our hostages will have their blood on their own hands."

. . ."There will be no peace in this part of the world until Hamas is no longer a factor.

"We are engaged in a major conflict between civilization and the uncivilized. Israel is on the front line. The conflict is radical Islam vs. civilization. That is what it is. Europe may well already be lost. The next century may be very uncomfortable, as there are people here, now, in the United States, who harbor these same inclinations."

Goodbye Pacific Palisades, Hello Full Communism

Stephen Green

There is a recall petition circulating but there's yet no formal recall process. But with Bass and Soboroff calling the shots on the big-money rebuilding effort, you should expect the big money to back Bass in case of a recall election.

"Embattled Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass made her big play this week to rebuild Pacific Palisades in her own image. Needless to say, it won't be pretty.

"During what the Los Angeles Times called "a freewheeling half-hour walking tour in Pacific Palisades," with reporters and "chief recovery officer" and former LAPD commissioner Steve Soboroff, Bass announced that the city plans to hire "an outside consultant to handle a significant rebuilding contract for areas devastated by this month’s Palisades fire," as the Times put it.

“ 'They’re going to represent you and make sure that everybody does exactly what they say they’re going to do,” Soboroff told reporters.

"Pacific Palisades residents were not so much as consulted on the decision. "Locals have had virtually no input into any of the decisions currently being made by city and state officials," Breitbart's Joel Pollack reported on Tuesday. "Most were only able to access their property for the first time on Monday, after direct intervention by President Donald Trump."

"Um… is that how representation works? When the mayor and her philanthropist pal Soboroff pick the firm that will make all the decisions?

"Soboroff later clarified to Pollack that "the ‘consultant’ will be an ‘owner’s rep’ to oversee the work of the various agencies involved, much like a construction manager on a building project," and that there "would be a competitive bidding process for the role.”

"In other words: this is going to take some time. Rather than a relatively simple process of homeowners filing their insurance claims and rebuilding once the money and the permits come through, big-name consultants will spend big money on big-name contractors to give the Palisades a big government makeover.

"Indeed, that's exactly the case." . . .

Everything We Know about the Airliner and Black Hawk who Collided On Approach to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

The Aviationist  "Multiple fatalities have been reported after a horrific incident involving American Airlines flight 5342 and a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter over Washington D.C., with first responders still at work around the wreckage in the Potomac River.

"The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed shortly before 3:00 UTC that a midair collision had taken place between a Bombardier CRJ700 regional airliner and a U.S. Army Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter. At the time of writing there appears to have been a significant loss of life, with no survivors reported so far while more than 300 first responders are still at work." . .

Daily Mail has comprehensive coverage of the helicopter - plane no survivor crash

"Asra Hussain messaged husband Hamaad Raza, 25, to say 'We are landing in 20 minutes' as American Eagle Flight 5342 approached Reagan National Airport jut before 8pm ET Wednesday night. Tragically it was the last text Asra, 26, would ever send. Her shaken husband of two years Hamza Raza, 25, was filmed explaining how he'd texted a few replies but that they'd never been received. Asra was one of 60 passengers killed when the Bombardier CRJ700 jet - flown by American Airlines regional subsidiary American Eagle - was struck by a Black Hawk helicopter on an Army training sortie. Then come the conspiracy theories.

At least 30 bodies have been recovered from a Washington DC aircraft collision, including a TikTok skating star and a famed athlete couple.

American figure skater John Maravilla, as reported by RIA Novosti, said: 'I don't want to name names, but there were around 14 figure skaters on the plane, not counting their parents and several coaches.'

Jackasses in action: Senate confirmation hearings for RFK, Jr. commence -- and it sounds like a zoo

 Monica Showalter

Sen. Bernie wants to die on this hill. Half the fun in this video is watching Megan Kelly laughing at Bernie's questions. Term limits anyone?

                                                 Senator Bernie Sanders, screaming:

“Are you supportive of the onesies!”

. . ."It says something that they hate Bobby and are trying to take him down alongside the crypt-keepers.

"The whole thing is a disgrace, a festival of jackass braying and assorted hysteria. Obviously, he's as big a threat to the swamp as President Trump is. Big money has got to be at stake from Big Pharma and all the rest of them involved in health care's revolving door of politics and succor. Now they're having their moment, and are likely to draw the same kind of response from the public that happened when a string of Democrats all released lawfare on President Trump at once.

"The bad thing is, it's just getting started. But we've got to hope that Bobby gets in there somehow, because the Augean stable of health care has got to be huge." . . .

Megyn Kelly distracts from RFK Jr. confirmation hearing as she cackles in audience - 'so ridiculous'

X users, who watched the audience react to Sanders vs Kennedy, were amused by the encounter. "Look at Megyn Kelly cracking up in the background. So ridiculous." Another agreed: "Megyn Kelly in background laughing is priceless."

Ghoulish Democrats and Press Rush to Blame Trump for Airliner Crash, Here's Why They're Wrong

 RedState

. . ."In other words, Democrat presidents put DEI above safety, purging thousands of people who could have solved the shortage because their skin color didn't match up with the left's political wants. That's what the Trump administration is trying to fix by eliminating diversity quotas at the FAA." . . .

. . ."The Blackhawk was a routine military training flight. As to why the helicopter was so close to DCA, military, government, and law enforcement helicopters routinely fly at low altitudes along a corridor following the Potomac River. Without the NTSB weighing in yet, we are left to speculate about what went wrong, but I'll try to answer a few basic questions.

"People have noted how bright the landing lights were on the CRJ and asked how the Blackhawk managed to hit it. You have to understand, though, that the video that went viral of the crash was not the angle the helicopter was seeing. It was approaching from the side, and position lights, strobes, and beacons can very easily get lost in a city's lights.

"Secondly, because helicopters climb in a nose-low attitude, the Blackhawk likely did not have a direct visual line of sight to the CRJ. Why did the military crew tell air traffic control they had the traffic in sight? It appears they misidentified a regional jet that was departing, further undermining their situational awareness. For more context, the Blackhawk crew was flying under visual flight rules, which means it was their responsibility to see and avoid any traffic.

"To summarize, it appears (though nothing is certain) that the Blackhawk called the wrong traffic in sight and then mistakenly climbed into the regional jet without ever seeing it. That would make this a very tragic case of pilot error.

"Unfortunately, Democrats and press members have decided to abscond from the above fact pattern and instead play politics. Multiple posts were put out on social media attempting to blame the Trump administration for the crash." . . .

Vance claims Biden admin knew whereabouts of criminal migrants but did nothing about it: ‘It should shock the conscience of the American people’

NY Post

“Why wasn’t that happening a couple of years ago? Because they weren’t empowered to do their job,” Vance said of Border Patrol agents. “The border has become so lawless that we’re actually engaging in military style engagements just to regain control of our southern border.”

"Vice President JD Vance claimed Wednesday that the Biden administration was aware of the names and addresses of violent criminals in the country illegally but took no action.

"Vance, 40, described it as “one of the craziest things of the last week” to learn the previous administration knew the whereabouts of some of the criminal migrants recently taken into federal custody as part of President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration.

" 'What is shocking to me is that many of these violent criminals – we knew their addresses, we knew their names. We just needed to send somebody to go to their house and get them the hell out of the country,” the vice president told Fox News host Sean Hannity Wednesday night.Vance fumed that federal officials “haven’t done anything until about eight days ago, when Donald Trump became the president of the United States” to apprehend known gang leaders and other violent offenders — many of whom illegally came into the country under former President Joe Biden’s watch.

" 'Vance fumed that federal officials “haven’t done anything until about eight days ago, when Donald Trump became the president of the United States” to apprehend known gang leaders and other violent offenders — many of whom illegally came into the country under former President Joe Biden’s watch.

“ 'It really should shock the conscience of the American people,” the vice president argued. " . . .

NYC minority communities cheer ICE raids that rounded up violent criminal migrants: ‘Get them the hell off the street!’   “Get them the hell off the street! Get them the hell out of the street so people don’t have to walk in fear,” said Evelyn Brown, 80, a Bronx resident from Jamaica who voted for Trump.

“Take the damn bad ones away!”

"A resident of the Knickerbocker apartment complex in Washington Heights in deep-blue Manhattan, where Trump gained 5% in 2024 over his 2020 showing, said he’s happy to see some action being taken against criminals but added that he still hopes some deserving migrant families are offered a path to safety.

"The resident — who didn’t want to give his name — said he voted for Trump the first time but didn’t make it to the polls in 2024." . . .

Comment: Can't imagine how what Trump is doing is not a gift to some of the communities that are crime ridden. The left is losing their mind over this. Hope they continue the complaining as it will help keep the good guys stay in office.

Iranian People Are Ready To Bring About Regime Change. Does The West See It Coming?

Issues & Insights

"As the mullahs rush to acquire nuclear weapons, Western powers should support Iranians’ democratic aspirations by imposing strict sanctions on the regime and holding it accountable for human rights violations and its export of terror." . . .

"It was like yesterdayNearly 50 years to the day, on Dec. 31, 1977, the Shah held a state dinner for U.S. President Jimmy Carter. Watching on television from my family’s middle-class home in western Tehran, I was eager to hear Carter’s speech. Having visited the U.S. as a curious tourist the previous summer, I had learned a few things about the American political system.

"In the middle of the speech, Carter toasted the Shah, saying Iran was “under your majesty, an island of stability in one of the more troubled areas of the world.” At that, I turned to my uncle beside me, who was back in Iran after years of living in California, and asked, “Where is he talking about? Americans, with their embassy and all its personnel, really don’t know what is going on in Iran?”

"Though my uncle abhorred the Shah as much as anyone, he was also keenly aware of the brutality that the Shah’s notorious secret police, SAVAK, used in crushing anyone who expressed such sentiment. That evening, he tried to assure me that the president of the strongest country in the world definitely knew things that an Iranian teenager did not, and that the Shah was irremovable. Our heated argument ended without resolution after my father intervened.

"That autumn, I had witnessed anti-government demonstrations by university and high-school students. As an ordinary young Iranian nothing could stop my yearning for freedom. I will never forget the first time I heard the chant “down with the Shah in the streets of central Tehran. Though the Pahlavi dynasty appeared invincible after 57 years of iron-fisted rule, it was doomed less than 14 months after Carter made his remarks.

"As an anti-mullah activist, I closely follow developments in Iran, and international policies towards it. It’s clear that Western leaders remain prone to the same faulty assumptions today as they were in 1977.

"Despite the visible mistakes made in dealing with the Shah before the 1979 revolution, these errors have been repeated in handling the mullahs’ regime over the past 45 years. Just as Carter labeled the monarchy an “island of stability,” many experts in the U.S. and Europe continued to relay the view that the theocratic dictatorship is here to stay, and that regime change is not feasible." . . .

Trump’s supporters have optimism. The man who beat every unfair fight in the last eight years is on track to keep his promises to them.

 The Federalist

"But for political prisoners who languished in federal prison under Biden’s weaponized Department of Justice, there were tears of joy as they were reunited with family when Trump released them from prison." . . .

"President Donald Trump did not need to learn the location of the White House breakroom during his first week in office. He rarely takes a break, and the beauty of a second term is he already knows how things work in the White House.

"He also knows how things work in Washington. Trump’s first term was full of ugly political lessons taught through betrayals, bogus impeachments, and ongoing lawfare. He first came to office in 2016 promising to drain the insidious swamp, and the swamp tried to drown him.

"While his supporters hated the four years trapped under former President Joe Biden, it was time well spent for Trump. As the nation learned how bad things could get, Trump was planning his return, building a nearly swamp-proof administration.

"As Mollie Hemingway, editor-in-chief of The Federalist recently told Mark Levin on “Life Liberty, & Levin,” Trump understood that he had to be decisive and bold in taking on the permanent Washington, D.C. bureaucracy that has thwarted the will of the American people in recent decades.

“ 'Americans have been frustrated for a long time, and that’s why they’re so optimistic and hopeful about what they’ve seen this week,” Hemingway said." . . .
