Rep. Jamie Raskin: ‘Find Me Two Republicans, I’ll Go to Work on’ Trump Impeachment

And I didn't think Democrats could get any more contemptible. TD

Legal Insurrection   "You know the Democrats will impeach President Donald Trump if they retake the House.Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), a man infected with a severe case of TDS, wants to do it:

Well...Murkowski and  Susan Collins loom in the background. Lisa Murkowski is Democrats best bet

Al Green Gets Mic Dropped by Irate Caller Over New Impeachment Threat During C-SPAN Visit   . . ."Thursday morning, Green appeared on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" program to make his case - and then got schooled by a Savannah, GA, Republican caller named Richard right off the bat:

"Thank you. I watched you yesterday with the Democrat Party, Al, protesting everything that Elon Musk is trying to do for the American people. The USAID is 100 percent a money laundering scheme around the world, kickbacks back to the Democrat Party, whether it's to the Clinton Foundation in Haiti - $4.4 billion and $84 million went to her daughter, Chelsea Clinton.

All y'all have is impeachment, and race, and gender, etc.  And you actually do nothing for the people of America today. I think the Democrats should sit back and let America see what it‘s like to reduce the people in government, the wasteful spending. All y‘all can do is just complain and be negative. We are sick of it."

‘60 Minutes’ boss on hot seat over Kamala Harris interview amid speculation he could get ousted if ‘Trump wants head on a stick’: sources

MSN  The turmoil at CBS News over the controversial “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris has put the show’s boss on the hot seat – and insiders are speculating the network could dump him if President Trump wants a “head on a spike,” The Post has learned.

"Bill Owens – executive producer of “60 Minutes” since a sexual-misconduct scandal engulfed CBS and ousted his predecessor, Jeff Fager – has remained defiant amid fury from the rank-and-file over a possible settlement with Trump over his $10 billion lawsuit.

"The president claims CBS edited the Harris interview to make her look better ahead of the election – an accusation the network has denied.

On Monday, 58-year-old Owens told staffers that the edit was “perfectly fine” and that “the company knows I will not apologize for anything we have done,” The New York Times reported Tuesday.

Nevertheless, CBS confirmed it reluctantly sent the full interview transcript on Monday to FCC Chair Brendan Carr, who has vowed to fast-track an investigation into any wrongdoing, as The Post reported.

On Monday, Carr told The Post he will vet the transcript in light of an FCC “prohibition against news distortion on our books for 50 years” that applies to TV broadcasters. Some CBS insiders fear the outlook for the probe isn’t good."

Pete Hegseth punishes Mark Milley for arrogantly defying the president

 Susan Quinn

"His Afghanistan pullout was worse. And his allegiance to the woke agenda would have made him a target, even if he hadn’t already retired."

"If President Trump had known in 2016 how arrogant a man Mark Milley was, he might never have appointed him to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

"Milley’s treasonous behavior, spectacular incompetence, and rebelliousness against the president justify the punishment he is being ordered.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the Pentagon's inspector general to investigate the ‘conduct’ of retired Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley — who at times clashed with President Trump during his first term — and determine whether it's appropriate he should be reduced in rank from his current four stars.

Hegseth also revoked Milley's security detail and suspended his security clearance.

Even though Milley is retired, he had an ongoing security detail through the Army as a result of Iranian threats in the wake of the 2020 U.S. drone strike that killed Iranian [Revolutionary Guard Corps Gen. Qasem] Soleimani. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and then-National Security Adviser John Bolton recently lost their security details on orders from Trump, who clashed with them as well.

"When Trump first appointed Milley, he seemed like a reasonable choice; however, Milley seemed to have an exaggerated understanding of the power he wielded, and when Trump “defied,” him, he was apparently insulted." . . .

NCAA: No More 'Trans Women' Competing in Women's Sports

 Hot Air

. . ."I voted for Kamala but as a female former Div 1 shot putter I could not agree more with the Trump administration here.  I was loving seeing him sign this executive order surrounded by girls and women who had real skin in the game speaking out."  "Harris voter"

"Yesterday, President Trump signed an executive order which would ban trans women from participating in women's sports at all federally funded educational institutions. You probably saw the video of Trump surrounded by women and girls as he signed the order." . . . "That EO did not have the power to change the official policies of sporting bodies like the NCAA or the IOC, however the White House made it very clear that they expected these organizations to follow their lead. And today, the NCAA has fallen in line. The new police announced today is effective immediately.

“We strongly believe that clear, consistent and uniform eligibility standards would best serve today’s student-athletes instead of a patchwork of conflicting state laws and court decisions,” Charlie Baker, the president of the N.C.A.A., said in a statement. “To that end, President Trump’s order provides a clear, national standard.”

Brooke Gossett commented:   "Thank you President Trump and to everyone who stood up to protect the rights of real women!!

"For centuries, women fought to be seen, to have a voice, to be recognized for the incredible strength, resilience, and brilliance we bring to the world. But for several years now, there has been a movement determined to push us backward……erasing our spaces, our accomplishments, even our very definition. It’s an insult to every woman who came before us and a direct attack on the generations to come.

"But women are not invisible. We are not a feeling. We are not an afterthought. "Thank you for refusing to back down. Thank you for speaking the truth. Thank you for making sure real women are seen, heard, and protected. "Real women are strong. "Real women matter. "And today, real women have been heard!!"

California Democrats Move Toward Secession

Mike Robertson

" . . .The California government is in a rush to maintain the status quo, even to the point of encouraging secession initiatives like Calexit. Apparently, West Coast progressives are just that keen on keeping their crime, inflation, and dysfunction."

"Days after the American nation secured a landslide victory for Donald J. Trump as the 47th U.S. President, some Democrat-led states voiced their plans to oppose any order of the new Oval Office. The governors of California, Colorado, and Illinois expressed their commitment to progressive ideas implemented by the Biden-Harris administration.

"The Golden State considered mere disobedience not enough. In January 2025, California state secretary Shirley Weber allowed the Calexit initiative to be put on the November 2028 ballot. For some reason, left-wing activists backing the secession movement falsely believe that withdrawing from the Union would create a prosperous independent nation, free from what they might call “conservative dictatorship” of the Republican-led U.S.

"A quick overview of California in early 2025 reveals challenges facing the state. Residents grapple with economic issues, illegal migration, a surge in crime rates, a high cost of living, and an affordable housing crisis. The political climate is also tense, as the shift of power has become a rare occasion.

"The Golden State has been a Democrat stronghold for years. Surprisingly, the party fighting for diversity and representation has had a majority in the California State Assembly continuously since 1996, and occupied the governor’s office since 2011. In total, Democrats have been dominating the Golden State for almost 14 years at the gubernatorial level and 29 years at the legislature.

"Just like the Biden-Harris administration failed to deliver on the federal level, 14 years of Democrat governors failed Californians." . . .

More at the Tunnel Wall  Including the State of the State of Jefferson: How the Secessionist Movement Started and Where it Stands Today:

"Jeffersonians may have come to the realization, however, that forming a new state is simply too cumbersome. Baird says that he now endorses the “Greater Idaho Movement,” in which California's northern counties and some rural Oregon counties, rather than creating a whole new state, would secede from California and merge with Idaho. Baird told the Willamette Week newspaper that joining Idaho appears to be “the shortest route” to breaking off from California."
