"In a scathing 6-page missive, Trump defends himself in no uncertain terms, while protesting the “unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse of power” by his accusers.
"And he shouldn’t have to do so. Everything about this impeachment inquiry is shady. We’ll see just how shady tomorrow, when the final vote is likely to be cast.
"No matter what I may think of this man on a personal level, I find the way he has been and is being treated unconscionable. Never in the history of our country has any president been so viciously and undeservedly attacked.
