Interesting WW2 Irony

Adolf Hitler’s nephew, William Hitler, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

William Patrick Hitler fled Nazi Germany in 1939 and immediately tried to enlist in the Allied forces. His uncle Adolf referred to him as ‘my loathsome nephew.’
