Iranian University Offers Scholarships to US Students Expelled Over Pro-Hamas Protests

The Western Journal (msn.com)   "Are you a college student? Has your anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian, pro-Hamas protesting been so egregious that it's gotten you expelled from a U.S. university? The Islamic Republic of Iran has got good news for you!

In perhaps the surest sign of who's on the right side of history when it comes to the anti-Israel riots that have spread like far-left chickenpox across American college campuses, a school in the Middle East's premier pariah state has said it will give scholarships to students kicked out of college for their roles in the demonstrations, Newsweek reported Wednesday.

Shiraz University \-- described by Iranian state-run English-language outlet PressTV as an "internationally renowned university" -- said that it would be offering scholarships to those who've managed to get themselves booted from U.S. schools.

According to PressTV's report, Mohammad Moazzeni, head of the university, announced it "has expressed readiness to grant scholarships to the students expelled for pro-Palestine demonstrations in the United States and Europe."

What we've taught in our schools is bearing itself out on our streets - Washington Times     . . ."What we teach in colleges will be practiced in our culture. Solomon was clear: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart.” The moral to this is that there is great power in ideas and that power can be wielded for either noble or nefarious ends.
"Richard Weaver warned of the same in 1948 when he wrote his seminal work, “Ideas Have Consequences.” His thesis was so simple that you hardly need to read beyond the cover to understand it. Ideas matter. They always bear fruit. There is no such thing as a neutral idea. All ideas are directional. Good ideas bear good culture, good government, good community, good church and good kids. Bad ideas bear the opposite. If you want to live in a good society, you must teach your progeny what is good. It’s like your grandmother said: “Garbage in, garbage out.' ” . . .

MSNBC's Joy Reid will love this!   WATCH – Anti-Israel Protester at UCLA Encampment: ‘We Don’t Like White People’ (breitbart.com)   "As frat boys counter-protesting radical Palestinian supporters marching on the University of Mississippi campus are accused of “racism” for mocking the left-wing anti-Israel activists, virtually no condemnations are heard from these same voices in response to a pro-Palestinian woman outright denouncing “white people” at the UCLA encampment in Southern California.

"In a viral clip that has been making the rounds on social media in recent days, an anti-Israel protester at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) can be heard dismissing a counter-protester because he is a “white person.”

“ 'You’re just a white person; you’re a white person [so] get out — we don’t like white people,” the keffiyeh-wearing woman insisted before chanting, “Free Palestine” as she waved a Palestinian flag."

Pro-Palestinian activists in US cheer Hamas taking hostages from music festival: ‘Honor our martyrs’ | Fox News  "Pro-Palestinian protesters cheered an individual lauding Hamas terrorists taking festival attendees hostages in Gaza, as activists gathered outside the Israeli consulate in New York on Sunday.

"One video from the event showed a man speaking in the center of a crowd, followed by a young woman who praised the Islamist "martyrs."

" 'When the Palestinians broke through the fence… as you might have seen, there was some sort of rave or desert party where they were having a great time until the resistance came in electrified hang gliders and took at least several dozen hipsters," the man said to cheers. "But I'm sure they're doing very fine despite what the New York Post says."

"The Israelis "were so arrogant" in thinking they were safe, "but just less than 24 hours ago, on the land, from the sea and from the air, the people of the Gaza Strip- [loud cheers] …our young people are riding their bikes through these settlements where they were told they could never go because of apartheid," the male speaker said." . . .
