Has Leftist Lawfare Created the Police State Yet?

"The message to Joe Citizen is clear: “If we can take down these people, including a U.S. president and billionaire and anyone who supports him, just imagine what we can do to you.' ” Greg Salsbury*

Ric Grenell exposes Jack Smith as the king of sleaze - Monica Showalter  "Ric Grenell, President Trump's former ambassador to Germany, and Director of National Intelligence, knows a thing or two about Jack Smith, having lived in Europe when Smith was active in prosecuting war crimes in The Hague.

"Now that Smith has been caught tampering with evidence in his case against President Trump, Grenell's put out a devastating series of tweets about Smith's history of dishonest behavior.". . .

. . ."But it's unmistakeable that Smith moves crooked and he's been caught way too often. It's helpful that Grenell is speaking out since no one else has the kind of information he has and the press is ignoring the story. There seems to be quite a dirty backstory to Smith and his sleazy doings against President Trump. Keep an eye on anything else Grenell may be posting because there could be more bombshells. Based on the behavior thus far seen, Smith needs to be yanked from the Trump case immediately."

President Trump Calls For Jack Smith to be Arrested After Special Counsel Admits HE LIED TO THE COURT About Classified Docs Seized from Mar-a-Lago   . . ."Jack Smith admitted he lied to the Court about the classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago in a motion filed late Friday night.

"Special Counsel Jack Smith on Friday evening responded to Trump’s co-defendant Walt Nauta’s motion to extend a deadline for disclosures in the classified documents case.

"Recall that Walt Nauta, a former White House employee and Navy veteran who worked valet for Trump and served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago was indicted along with Trump last year.

"In a motion filed late Friday, Jack Smith admitted the FBI messed with the boxes containing “classified” documents they seized from Trump and can’t be sure the order or the placement of the documents." . . .

*Has Leftist Lawfare Created the Police State Yet? - Greg Salsbury

. . ."Could it be that the average non-leftist citizen now feels both powerless and terrified to object to any of these injustices? They see the brutal treatment meted out to President Trump, his associates,  and his legal team, on the one hand, versus the reverence for a president whose family has inexplicably received millions of dollars from foreign sources and for violent protesters who have magically escaped jail time, or of crack-using, tax-dodging Biden family members." . . .

Democrats should fear ‘lawfare’ tactics being turned against them | The Hill

. . ."Unhinged partisan politics is quickly propelling our nation down the path of the normalization of the weaponization of law to take out a political opponent — a path that is destructive to all.

"New York Times columnist David Brooks said the quiet part out loud recently while on left-of-center “PBS Newshour”: “if you look at democracies in decline, then it is a pattern that people in office use their power to indict and criminalize and throw in jail the people who were in office before them of the opposing party. And so we are a nation, democracy in decline.”

"While he may have been trying to project such unethical and illegal behavior onto Trump and the Republicans, it perfectly defines what the Democrats are now trying to do to Trump.

"As I write this, the Biden White House, the Democratic National Committee, Democratic politicians, most of the mainstream media, most of academia and most of Hollywood seem thrilled that Democratic district attorneys, attorney generals, special counsels and judges such as Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, Fani Willis, Jack Smith, Arthur F. Engoron and Juan Merchan are seemingly working as one to bankrupt Trump, keep him off ballots, wound his campaign — or send him to prison." . . .

Prosecutor Jack Smith Admits to Tampering With Trump Evidence - The American Spectator | USA News and Politics   . . ."In other words, two years after I pointed out that the photo of documents spread all over the floor in Mar-a-Lago meant that they had been deliberately mishandled by someone or someones trying to frame Trump — to convey the impression that Trump was guilty of mishandling the documents — mishandling of documents once again hits the headlines.

"This time, the allegation is directly about Trump’s obsessive prosecutor, with the Western Journal article saying this:

Smith has revealed that at some point after boxes of documents were seized from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, the order of the documents changed, which the court did not learn about until now.

The revelation was contained in a new court filing….

The filing admitted the current order of documents in the boxes does not match scans that were made earlier….
