"The View" much discussed lately

"I can't stand the show or the people on it but I disagree with canceling it because of their political views.
Let their ratings decide their fate" Reader comment

‘The View’ is a pointless, irrelevant, Trump-loathing joke — cancel it   . . ."But those who watch “The View” aren’t so lucky.

"Every day is like that for them — a relentless assault on their eardrums from a bunch of partisan obsessives competing with each other over who detests Trump most.

"Their nadir came the day after the election, when to their horror, the man they’ve spent years branding a vile, bigoted, racist fascist won absolutely everything: the popular vote, the Electoral College, the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives.

"In a truly farcical gesture of brazen bias, the six hosts all trotted out in funereal black clothing because they were in mourning.

"And yet, ironically, it was their own professional funeral that they were almost certainly attending." . . .

The View Advises Americans Not To Engage With Relatives Who Voted Trump

"Whoopi Goldberg, one of the lying hosts of The View has advised the viewers that the show still has left to shun their own relatives if they voted for President Trump.

"The remarks came during a discussion about Yale University chief psychiatry resident Dr. Amanda Calhoun saying on Joy Reid’s show that leftists who are reeling from Trump’s landslide victory should ignore family members who voted for him." . . .

Top Democrat Leader Obliterates The View’s Reasoning for Why Trump Won . . ."A top Democrat leader put the ladies of The Views’s remarks to bed after they suggested that “racism” and “misogyny” cost Vice President Kamala Harris the election.

House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) pushed back against claims that President-elect Donald Trump won over voters because of his stance on race and gender. Instead, he argued that the incoming president won because he promised to fix the nation’s economy.

"Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Jeffries what lessons the Democratic Party was taking away from their loss this election season, with the panel questioning why a “convicted felon resonates more with Americans than a hyper-qualified woman of color." . . .  (Emphasis mine, TD)

. . ."However, co-host Sunny Hostin refused to believe that Trump won because of his America-first promises. She pressed Jeffries, asking if he believed sexism and racism played a role in Harris’ loss. Jeffries, though, refused to take the bait." . . .

Local Man Passes Bar Exam After Just One Week Of Watching 'The View'

. . ."Watching The View is like attending a masterclass on the American legal system," explained Marlow. "Every day, you have the opportunity to guess which laws the hosts are breaking, then receive immediate feedback as the hosts read a statement from legal experts explaining what law they broke. It's all the legal training you'll ever need."

Upon hearing the news, law schools across the country began shutting down and instructing students to instead watch The View. "Frankly, we're obsolete," sighed law professor John Wiggem. "Why pay for a legal education when you can learn all you ever need from a daytime talk show? My entire career is in shambles. Curse you, Sunny Hostin!!" . . .
