What Biden’s Leading Choice For CIA Director Means: An Emboldened Swamp

AND Magazine

"Even as robust efforts continue to investigate the widespread fraud and irregularities in the recent election, and the final result hangs in the balance, former Vice-President Biden is pressing ahead with his preparations for staffing his administration. We can hope for the sake of the nation there never is such a thing, but it behooves us anyway to take note of the names being surfaced and to consider what they tell us about what may lie ahead if Biden is declared the victor.

"According to multiple news reports, former Deputy CIA Director David S. Cohen is Joe Biden’s top choice to head that agency. Who is he, and what can we predict about what such an appointment would mean?

"To begin with, although he previously served for two years at CIA, Cohen is not a spy nor is he even a career intelligence officer. He is a lawyer who has divided his time between prestigious Washington, D.C. based law firms and a series of federal jobs – most notably under the Obama administration. He has never met a source. He has never run an op. He has never produced finished intelligence.

"Cohen is, and this is the best case, just another guy who will sit in the big office on the 7th floor at CIA Headquarters and have absolutely no idea what the men and women who work for him do for a living or how to impact it.

"That doesn’t matter, though. Cohen is not going to be sent to CIA to improve our human intelligence capabilities. His job will not be to keep us safe, head off terrorist attacks and penetrate Putin’s inner circle. His job will be to guarantee the truth never comes out about the attempted coup against President Trump that began in 2016 and was orchestrated by then CIA Director John Brennan.

"Cohen was appointed to be Deputy Director of CIA by President Obama in 2015. In his capacity as Deputy Director Cohen worked directly for John Brennan, the Director of the CIA. During Cohen’s time at CIA, Brennan, by his own admission, created what he calls a “fusion cell” at CIA headquarters to coordinate all efforts associated with the patently false Trump Russian collusion narrative." . . .

Why did any American vote for Joe Biden?

https://www.americanthinker.com/cartoons/

Rick Hayes  "Our form of government provides that citizens are lawfully allowed to vote for any candidate in whom they so choose.  This unique system saw millions of Americans vote for whomever they wanted and for an array of reasons.

"Millions of Americans voted for Donald Trump to once again be president.  They did this not because they particularly liked the man, although some did, but because they enjoyed the direction in which the country moved.

"These Americans appreciated high employment numbers, lower gas prices, more stability in the Middle East, etc.

"Then millions of Americans voted for Joe Biden to be president. Not because they particularly liked the man, although some did, but because they did not like Donald Trump.

"These Americans were blinded by hate to such an extent that they unknowingly jeopardized their freedoms to satisfy their hatred.

"Then a smaller group of Americans voted for Joe Biden to be president, not because they particularly liked the man, but because they wanted to see the American Republic radically transform into a socialist country.

"This smaller group of Americans acted out of ignorance regarding a constitutional republic's greatness and, for the most part, were taught an incorrect and distorted view of socialism and its inevitable damage.

"Finally, there were those in a much smaller group who wanted Joe Biden as President because they wanted to keep the swamp's business perpetually alive.  This small but influential group purchased their way to a corrupt conclusion.

"These individuals quickly created an election system loaded with potential problems, even without corruption.

"But because President Trump's lead was beyond what they thought it would be, they had to adjust "on the fly," which caused their unlawful actions to become exposed.

"Now Americans who voted for President Trump must decide their next course of action.  Some, out of fear, may accept the fraudulent results so the Republic may survive, even if that means having a fake Republic, a Republic in name only.

"These fearful Americans will experience a temporary reprieve.  But America can never be the same.  If the stolen election is allowed to stand, from this point on, as long as there is an America, it will be a false country with pretend laws and bogus promises.

True, in the immediate future, there will be less or no violence in the streets.  The country will move forward, and Biden will become the 46th president.  Perhaps the radical proposed programs of the hard left will not take place, or maybe they will.  It doesn't matter.  Under such conditions, under the façade of peace, there will always be resentment and distrust.

"From the very moment the hijacked election is certified and approved, America will be known as the great lie, a pretend republic without real morals or real justice.  America's statues will look less majestic.  Her courts will take on a darker perception, and her extraordinary history discounted and seen as ultimately a failure.

"And those fearful Americans will have the order they crave, the daily routines they depend on, but they will always live in an artificial imitation Republic from which they can never emerge."

Anti-Israel US Congress member

Israellycool  "‘From the River to the Sea’ is of course a similar catch-cry to the one that got her fellow “Dismantling Antisemitism” panelist Marc Lamont Hill fired from the CNN.

"Think about that for a second – a sitting member of congress has just publicly endorsed a call for another country’s destruction, a strong ally no less.

"We already knew that panel was a joke, but now it should be even clearer what it’s really all about.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib retweets genocidal slogan ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free  "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free - code for eradicating the State of Israel and its millions of Jews.

"Reminder - this is a sitting U.S. Congresswoman"... [Democrat, I might add. TD]

. . . "The Daily Beast, a left-wing publication, wrote the following about the meaning of the phrase:

The river in this formulation is the Jordan, the naturally occurring eastern border of Israel and of the West Bank; the sea is the Mediterranean to the west. Uttered by advocates of the Palestinian cause for decades, the pithy slogan very pointedly makes no place for Israel. It evokes a strip of Middle Eastern land where Israel is no more, replaced by a unified Palestinian entity in the space it once occupied. It could be that this entity would welcome and protect a Jewish population. But when supporters of the Jewish state hear those 10 words, they worry about their potentially violent implications.

Democrats and the 'Speak Truth to Power' Lie

Such was the case in Michigan last week. A woman named Melissa Carone dared to testify to what she saw in the shady confines of the vote counting room in Detroit on election night. Since Democrats insist any challenge to their narrative that the election was as pure as the wind-driven snow must be met by either ignoring them completely, as is the case with most firsthand accounts, or total and complete destruction when the witness is too effective or memorable.

Townhall  "Everyone is the hero in their own story, so it makes sense that Democrats truly believe they’re doing good when they do evil. It’s easier to sleep at night when you convince yourself the depraved and corrupt things you do are in the name of something good or just. But no matter how hard they lie to themselves, their lies never become true." . . .

. . ."Democrats, particularly those with press credentials, love to talk about how they “speak truth to power.” It’s a meaningless phrase in general, but it’s even more meaningless when it exits their oral cavities.

“Trump campaign’s star witness in Michigan was deemed ‘not credible.’ Then, her loud testimony went viral,” declared the Washington Post. “Giuliani's witness draws audible laughter during testimony,” headlined the CNN story.

. . . " 'Kimmel, as has become the fashion for shows that used to be about joke set-ups and punchlines to amuse an audience but have become political speeches with applause lines, decided a guy making millions of dollars per year should attack a woman for telling the public what she saw. Perhaps he was trying to make up for his racist indiscretions in the past, or maybe the years of insulation that celebrity and money brings caused him to forget what being a decent human being to people not of your economic class was like. Or maybe he’s just a pile of human garbage emboldened by groupthink." . . . .More here

A personal note about Pearl Harbor day

The Japanese are among my favorite people today. I love visiting Japan because it’s so clean, orderly, and charming. It probably was in 1941, too, but the country was in the grip of the foul Bushido culture, which combined unrelieved brutality with a disdain for all non-Japanese races.

Andrea Widburg  'On December 7, 1941, the Japanese launched a devastating attack on American Naval forces in Honolulu. Within a short time, 2,403 Americans were dead and another 1,178 were injured. What many people forget is that the Japanese also attacked most of Southeast Asia. My mother was there when that happened.

"Neither my mother, 16, nor her sister, 12, should have been in Java. They were Dutch citizens who had been living for some years in British-mandate Palestine. Because North Africa was one of the theaters in which the Allies fought the Axis powers, the British set up military bases there. They hired my grandfather, an architect, to design the basic buildings (mess halls, barracks, etc.).

"I never met my grandfather, but he was apparently quite charming, and the British officers liked him. They told him that they thought Rommel might win. If that happened, the combined Arab and German forces would slaughter every Jew. (It was an early version of Hamas’s “From the river to the sea” plan for a Jewish genocide in land Jews had occupied for thousands of years.)

"My grandfather decided to send his daughters far from the war. He picked Java, which was then part of the Dutch East Indies. For a year, the girts had a lovely life because life was good for the European colonists benefitting from the cheap labor in the countries they occupied. That ended on December 8 (because East Asia was on the other side of the international date line), when the Japanese invaded the Malayan peninsula, countries that offered oil, rubber, and iron ore.

"Within a short time, the Japanese had interned the civilian populations – men and boys in one set of camps, women, girls, young boys in another. As Mom was always careful to point out, these camps were not extermination camps like Auschwitz. However, they were still horrific." . . .

Biden, America, and the oil industry

http://www.terrellaftermath.com/

What A Joe Biden Presidency Means For The Oil Industry  "Although the race hasn’t officially been called, it looks likely that Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States. There has been a lot of hand-wringing in the oil industry about the consequences of a Joe Biden win, so let’s discuss those today.

"Here is some context I like to use to frame the discussion. President George W. Bush was formerly a Texas oilman. His Vice President, Dick Cheney, was the former Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the oilfield services company Halliburton HAL -0.5%.

"You couldn’t ask for a more oil-friendly administration. Yet U.S. oil production declined all eight years they were in office. The year before Bush was inaugurated U.S. oil production averaged 5.8 million barrels per day (BPD). In 2008 — his last full year in office — production averaged 5.0 million BPD.

"Barack Obama took office in January 2009. He had campaigned on combating climate change. He implemented lots of policies designed to encourage the use of renewable energy. He was often openly hostile to the oil industry, slowing down pipeline permits and placing more federal lands off-limits to drilling.

"What happened? U.S. oil production increased each year during the first seven years Obama was in office. The U.S. saw the fastest growth of oil production in history, as well as the largest expansion under any President." . . .

Joe Biden Finally Admitted He Wants To End The Oil Industry

U.S. green groups say honeymoon is over, turn up heat on Biden   "U.S. environmental groups that poured money and effort behind Democrat Joe Biden’s successful run for president are shifting to a new more adversarial role now that he has been elected, launching a pressure campaign to make sure he delivers on his promises to fight climate change." . . .

"While Biden united a range of groups from youth activists to labor unions behind his presidential campaign, he has already become the target of some green groups for considering cabinet picks with ties to fossil fuels. He will be under constant pressure in office to move fast on his environmental agenda - potentially more than ex-President Barack Obama was during his tenure.

“The honeymoon ended at the altar when the networks pronounced Biden president-elect,” said Jamie Henn, director of environmental group 350.org’s Fossil Free Media, which opposes the fossil fuel industry. “It’s Biden’s call if he wants that pressure with him or against him.”

1,800 Companies Left California In a Year - With Most Bound for Texas

SouthStar Communities   "A record number of companies are leaving California for states with a better business climate, and a new report shows that Texas remains their No. 1 destination.

"The study estimates that 1,800 relocation or "disinvestment events" occurred in 2016, the most recent year available, setting a record yearly high going back to 2008. About 13,000 companies left the state during that nine-year period.

"Of the 1,800 events, 299 of those departures landed in Texas. …

"In the past three years, California companies - like Toyota Motor North America (NYSE: TM), Kubota Tractor Corporation, Charles Schwab Corp. (NYSE: SCHW) and Jamba Juice, among others - have announced corporate moves or regional hub launches in North Texas. …

" 'Departures are understandable when year after year CEOs nationwide surveyed by Chief Executive Magazine have declared California the worst state in which to do business," said Vranich, a corporate relocation expert who jokes that he loves California's weather, but not its business climate. Until recently, Spectrum and Vranich were based in Irvine, Calif. …

"Hostility toward businesses, high utility and labor costs, punitive regulations and worrisome housing affordability for employees are among California's other negatives, Vranich said. …

" 'Signs are that California politicians' contempt for business will persist," he said." . . .  More here

The pro-Biden/ Harris press looks as corrupt as ever

NBC’s Kasie Hunt Claims Joe Biden Doesn’t Lie, Even When He Blows Her Off

Joe Biden wouldn’t say if he’s talked to Mitch McConnell I’m just struck by the reality that we’ll now have a president who, as a rule, doesn’t lie, even when it might be easier

"Translation: he blew her off and avoided a question, but she’s still praising him and acting like state T.V."

"It is not breaking news to state the media has clearly taken sides in this election, but it really devolves into the realm of comedy to see the way they perform following a debate. Following the first debate CNN brought on their in-house fact-sleuth Daniel Dale to give his grades of the two performances, and while he expectantly declared Trump delivered an ‘’avalanche of lies’’ he declared that Joe Biden had been ‘’mostly truthful’’ in the debate. You had to know just how wrong this assessment proved to be, from the network that routinely declares riots and arson scenes to be “mostly peaceful'.” . .

Making America abnormal

Don Surber

"Graphic via Glenn Reynolds. Insanity via the Democrat Party.

"Ellen Page, an actress with girl-next-door looks, has decided she's a boy next door named Elliot. She is no more a male than the public health director of Pennsylvania is a woman. They suffer a mental disorder which in 21st century America makes you a hero.

"Not too long ago Bruce Jenner abandoned his wife and two daughters and won all kind of praise and even an Espy award from ESPN because he claimed he switched sexes. You can't. You can get surgery and take pills, but the DNA never changes.

"I don't wish Jenner, Page, or any of the others ill.

"I simply refuse to go along with the charade. The emperor wears no clothes, Ellen Page is a woman, and Bruce Jenner is a man.

"Democrats have spent most of my lifetime defining deviancy down. Society is worse for it. 60 years ago, the law banned distributing pornography through the mail. Now, any child can click on sex shows on the Internet that would give Caligula pause.

"The destruction of America is at an ever-increasing pace as Democrats make a functioning society dysfunctional. If the Supreme Court does not reverse the farcical presidential election, Xiden (as a reader calls him) will become the Pervert-in-Chief. The hair-sniffing and fondling of little girls in public make me cringe because we all know he is far worse in private.

"Perhaps he is the fitting figurehead of a nation in decline.

"How weird are we now?

"In 1998, all of Hollywood exalted Ellen DeGeneres as a heroine worthy of Mount Olympus because she came out as a lesbian. But two decades later, she wasn't quite quick enough on the uptake on the transgendering fad. That got her in dutch with the PC police.

"JK Rowling and John Cleese also have run afoul of the tranny crowd. To their horror, they have discovered that the T in LGBQT is just as petty, mean, and insufferable as they are.

"Oh, I get that the 1950s were not perfect. No age is. But is replacing the KKK with the BLM really necessary? What good purpose does racism against white people serve? Bull Connor died 47 years ago. No one under 100 was in charge in the 1960s. Move on, as they say." . . . .

President of Soros’ Open Society Foundations resigns, clearing way for potential Biden Cabinet position

Fox News  "The president of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, Patrick Gaspard, will resign, opening the way for him to take a possible position in the Biden administration.

"Gaspard, who has served on the Hungarian-born billionaire’s foundation for three years, announced Friday that he will step down at the end of the year, Open Society said.

TUCKER CARLSON: MEET PATRICK GASPARD, GEORGE SOROS' MAN IN BIDEN'S WOULD-BE CABINET

"Gaspard previously served as U.S. ambassador to South Africa between 2013 and 2016 in the Obama administration. Before that, he served as director of the White House Office of Political Affairs.

"Axios reported that there is speculation he could join the Biden administration, possibly as Labor secretary. He has previous experience with labor unions -- having worked for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU.)

"In a statement, Gaspard said he wishes to re-enter politics to continue “the struggle against oppression everywhere.”

DEN, HARRIS DOUBLE DOWN ON CONTROVERSIAL CABINET PICK NEERA TANDEN   "Soros, a left-wing megadonor, praised Gaspard as a “champion of all rights: whether for workers, for women, or for underserved groups.”

“ 'His dedication to those challenging power is precisely why I invited Patrick to join Open Society,” he said. “I have great admiration for the way he led the Foundations in a world beset by illiberalism, and I applaud him.”

"Biden, along with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris have doubled down on their support for controversial director of the Office of Management and Budget nominee, Neera Tanden." . . .

‘You spoiled rotten BRAT’: Candace Owens knocks AOC OUT with some brutal truth about what it REALLY means to ‘work hard’

Twitchy  "As Twitchy readers know, AOC has spent the last several days whining because people made fun of her for selling REALLY pricey merchandise hating on the rich, and then doubling and tripling down about how hard she worked as a bartender, even claiming

"Republicans only know how to sit around on leather seats.

"Reading that you’d think we’re making this up to roast her but nope, she’s been good enough to roast herself.

"Candace Owens finally had enough of the ‘I work and I slave, and what thanks do I get’ routine from Sandy, and dropped her: .  . . .". .

Keeps going and going: AOC’s continued whining about Repubs not knowing HOW HARD she’s worked just a hot mess of HILARITY

I fear for a nation that chooses such silly leadership. A country gets the leaders it deserves. TD

Age-shaming AOC mocks folks who ‘remember when Hershey bars were 5¢ at the general store’  . . . "Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a combat veteran and retired U.S. Army officer, was among the first to respond.

" 'Between working my family’s hog farm, construction jobs with my dad, and the biscuit line at Hardee’s — not to mention running convoys in a combat zone — I can promise you this conservative Senator knows exactly what it’s like to work a physically demanding job,” she wrote."

. . . "Several other users responded to Ocasio-Cortez as well, including Chris Loesch, husband to conservative author and “The First” host Dana Loesch. . . .

“‘Physically difficult’ … The actual physical laborers you want to have pay for everyone else’s college tuition would like to introduce you to physically difficult jobs. You have no idea what those words mean till you have done hot tar roofing. BTW, why didn’t you buy Obamacare?” he wrote." . .

Nancy Pelosi Babbles Incoherently After Admitting Holding Up the Virus Relief Until She Thought Biden Won

RedState

"Maybe House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) will never be voted out, given her district is San Francisco.

"But what she just admitted to is so vile that she certainly deserves to be tossed out on her ear.

"She had claimed for months that she was unwilling to accept a smaller COVID virus relief package. Republicans alleged she was holding off on relief so Americans would suffer more and blame President Donald Trump in the election, despite the fact that it was Nancy Pelosi who was holding it up.

"Now, after the election is over, as my colleague Sister Toldjah reported, Pelosi’s finally willing to sign onto a smaller deal, now that she thinks Joe Biden has won. “It’s ok now,” she said. “Because now we have a new president.”. . .

. . . "Trump offered stand alone bills. She still refused. So it was clearly all about helping get Joe Biden in. She was willing to hurt millions of Americans if it helped her hold onto political power. It was President Donald Trump’s Operation Warp Speed that’s gotten us three vaccines with over 94% effective, not Joe Biden. Notice how she doesn’t say that, already trying to swipe that credit from Trump. But I wanted to point out that in addition to her statement being vile and revealing her craven desire for power, it sounds like she’s had a little bit too much liquid at lunch. It’s barely coherent, like Biden. She tries to say “build back better,” Biden’s slogan, but she trips all over her tongue. But it’s a slogan that he apparently lifted from folks who have pushed the World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset.' ”

The Trump vaccine becomes ready during this next term, presumably Democrat's.  Watch them claim credit, even to the extent of using the term, "Biden vaccine", depending completely on the mal-information of Democrat voters coming from MSNBC-like sources and campus propagandists. TD
