Dems look to use oil spill in push for carbon caps

Washington Examiner "The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has breathed new life into legislation aimed at putting limits on carbon emissions, with President Obama expected to push Congress to pass a bill that addresses both energy and global warming in a national address."
Fla. Republicans ask Obama to waive Jones Act    "The federal maritime administrator in emergencies can waive the Jones Act that bars foreign ships from carrying cargo and passengers between U.S. ports. "
Brazil To Profit From Obama Drilling Ban  Not only is capital being directed away from the Gulf – at least any American operations – but the rigs and other equipment are going to migrate elsewhere — for years. So, by all means, invest in Brazil. Mr. Obama and his master Mr. Soros thank you.
THE OIL SPILL: THE CRISIS THAT WILL NOT GO TO WASTE "Sorry .. there is no way the federal government, especially a federal government being run by an anti-capitalist incompetent like Barack Obama, should be allowed to order a bunch of people out of their workplaces on the one hand, and then demand that some other private entity cover their salaries while they're not working. This is something that, if it is going to happen at all, happens through legal action."
