Obama and the US don't get no respect

Do you have that feeling that the wheels are coming off this superpower?

Netanyahu says Israel won’t need U.S. OK to hit Iran "In the U.S. last week, where he met with President Obama, Mr. Netanyahu was markedly more vocal about Israel’s willingness to attack Iran’s program, alone if necessary, though he said no decision had been made on whether to strike.
"On Wednesday, he ratcheted up the tough talk, suggesting Israel would be ready to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities even if the U.S. objected.

"“Israel has never left its fate to others, not even the best of its friends,” he said, citing Israel’s 1981 attack on an unfinished Iraqi nuclear reactor, which at the time was condemned by the U.S."
Iraq lets Iran fly arms to Syria despite U.S. protests "The Iraqi government has refused U.S. requests to stop Iranian cargo flights to Syria, despite being aware of credible intelligence that the planes are transporting up to 30 tons of weapons, according to a U.S. official."

Taliban call off peace talks with U.S.  True, it is said to be because of the American soldier who massacred those Afghans, but add to that the fact the US is now considered by Muslims as the weak horse and not worthy of respect.

BreitbartOBAMA FOREIGN POLICY BLUNDERS FUELED BY UNCHECKED IDEOLOGY  "The simple reality is that Obama’s few foreign policy successes have come in cases where he can delegate responsibility to the U.S. armed forces--even if that means evading Congress, as he did in Libya. The true story of Obama’s failures--and his continuing ambition for a humbler America on the world stage--is told at the margins, beyond the media spotlight, where his appointees and ideas have enjoyed a freer hand."

Victor Davis Hanson:  The Gaseous Policies of Barack Obama "There are no “oil men” in the White House. So the Obamites cannot, as in the past, blame Halliburton, BP, or Exxon for rigging gas prices out of the Oval Office. Which leads to the question: why then are prices now climbing when the Bush-oil company connection is no longer the narrative? The new answer? “Wall Street” (e.g., the fat-cat bankers, corporate jet owners, those who don’t know when not to profit, etc.) raised prices. "
