Disney fired Gina Carano from "The Mandalorian" for the "sin of not bowing to the Woke Left"

Disney fired Gina Carano from "The Mandalorian" for the sin of not bowing to the Woke Left

"Disney wants you to know they stand for diVeRsiTy and iNcLuSioN.

"Unless you disagree with any point of Wokeism for any period of time, that is.

"Gina Carano – pro MMA fighter and actress on the hit Star Wars show, The Mandalorian  was fired by Disney on Wednesday over an Instagram post they said was "abhorrent and unacceptable."

"If you're not familiar with Gina or her character "Cara Dune," here's a summary:"

"See her post and tell us if there is antisemitism in it:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the star actress, who is a well-known conservative, on the Disney+ show was fired “after sharing a post on social media implying that being a Republican today is like being Jewish during the Holocaust.”

Yahoo News . . . "Carano — whose agency has also parted ways with the actress — has yet to comment on her firing, which was spurred by a since-deleted Instagram post that likened being a modern-day conservative to the experience of Jews during the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. But her cause has been taken up by right-wing figures like Ted Cruz who are eager to portray her as another victim of cancel culture. Some have also noted that Carano’s co-star Pedro Pascal drew allusions between Trump supporters and Nazis and Confederate soldiers in a since-deleted Instagram post in November, but hasn’t faced the same repercussions." . . .

"The world IS open but no one is allowed to work. Working is a right you, as an American have. It gives us purpose, focus, pride and most importantly a way to support the ones we love. People are dropping like flies from depression and suicide, overdoses, MURDER. Enough already." Then we have this one: "Open up your businesses & churches. Put whatever regulations you want to because that is your right but open them up. You’re telling me Covid-19 knows the difference between a protest or praise & worship. I haven’t even been to church in over a decade but I sure would go now."
