Hail Armageddon

Charles Krauthammer  "A normal citizen might think this a good thing. Are they threatening to pare back consultants, conferences, travel and other nonessential fluff? "Hardly. It shall be air-traffic control. Meat inspection. Weather forecasting."

Krauthammer pretty well nails the way a government that is not of, by, and for the people handles the welfare of it's, well...subjects.
