As Slain Dallas Officer’s Body Taken Home, Stunning Sight Appears on Road  Video at the link.  "During the procession to return slain Dallas Area Rapid Transit officer Brent Thompson to his hometown after he was killed in the line of duty at a Black Lives Matter protest Thursday, something took place that left many speechless.

"Hundreds of mourners had lined up along the side of Interstate 45 holding signs and flags to show their respect for the fallen officer as the motorcade traveled a 55-mile route to Corsicana, Texas, on Saturday afternoon. Others gathered along the side of a bridge that crosses the interstate and draped flags over the side of the bridge.

"Thompson, 43, was a father and grandfather. He got married just two weeks ago to a fellow DART officer." . . .
