"So, in order to get press, De Niro has been on a tear about President Trump. He's gone to great lengths to shock: at the most recent Tony Awards, where he was giving out a statue, he yelled, “I’m gonna say one thing: “f*** Trump!”"
"But now he's getting some push back — even in liberal New York City.
"On Saturday, at a Broadway performance of the De Niro-directed musical “A Bronx Tale," a Trump supporter stood up during the curtain call and hoisted a “Keep America Great!” flag.
“ 'The times we live in,” tweeted audience member Joe Del Vicario. “At the end of A Bronx Tale, a man turned around and faced the audience to show us how big of a pair he has,” Del Vicario said. “He was escorted shortly after," he wrote, lamenting how even a play is now politicized.
