The man who barred aged veterans from memorials throws himself a party

A napkin commemorates President Barack Obama’s birthday and presidency.

Didn't Obama realize that the photos would go viral?  . . . "Gold napkins for a birthday party?  I didn't know that the federal stipend covered that.

"Where is Dr. Fauci or Chuck Todd when we really need them?  They spoke about the bikers spreading but not a question about the party or the border.  Let's hope AOC reminds everyone that there was a "little income distribution problem" at that party."

Inside Obama’s bash  . . . "Stefanik is also quoted telling the Post in another story: “Democrats are imposing forced vaccine mandates, unscientific masks mandates, and are openly discussing lockdowns, while President Obama gathers with hundreds of maskless liberal elites who flew in on private jets with no vaccine requirement to attend.” I could listen to her all day."

MSNBC host: Obama's party was 'unbecoming,' a 'terrible message' amid coronavirus case surge  " 'Raw feelings' among former Obama staffers who didn't make the cut for party, while celebrities did: NYT".  Obama loves celebrities and here they come!

. . . "The people who got cut, according to my reporting, were a lot of the former administration officials who really credit themselves with building the legacy that allows Obama to enjoy the post-presidency popularity among this crowd and there were some raw feelings about what looked like a two-tier system," Karni said. "But in the end, he had the big party, there were mixed feelings about whether that was a good look for Democrats, for Obama himself, and we learned that significantly scaled back did not mean a dinner party with 12 close friends and his family."
"No. In fact, very high-level Democrats, folks in the White House even, were pretty upset about this," Brzezinski said. "It’s sending a terrible message that the party doesn’t need right now, for sure."

Private jets and no masks — how Obama’s party was height of elite hypocrisy  . . . "
As the rest of America struggles with uncertain employment status and school reopenings, shifting mask mandates, anxiety over vaccinations and variants, the health of the economy and the citizenry at large, Obama had to go and throw himself a huge, epic, three-day birthday bash on Martha’s Vineyard.
"You would think a former president — one who clearly considers himself more intelligent and sensitive than most — would exercise some restraint."
Famously close friend David Axelrod — who sat for a hagiographic, three-part HBO Obama doc that premiered last week, who just called Obama an “apostle of hope” in the Washington Post, and the adviser most responsible for getting Obama elected in the first place — was, according to the New York Times, cut from the guest list.
Barack Obama, former president, just spent his 60th birthday with friends, family and fawning celebrity types at a bash on Martha’s Vineyard. Not unexpected  . . . "And according to reports, he grooved to the song “Birthday Bitch” performed live by guest Trap Beckham. A bit unexpected.
"This is, after all, a former president, a former leader of the free world. A former dignified member of the elitist of all elitist circles." . . .

. . . "Only this: that secularism and cultural rot and immorality are celebrated in America. That profanity and vulgarity are acceptable forms of entertainment. That money, power, prestige and high political positioning doesn’t automatically bring class and taste.
"And that no matter how you spin it, the image of a former president rapping to a live rendition of “Birthday Bitch” is not a good look." . . .
