Texas police refused requests to escort Biden campaign bus bothered by Trump supporters

Well, we do need to be better than this,

Just the News  "Transcripts of 911 calls last year from the San Marcos, Texas, police department show officials turned down multiple requests for assistance from a 2020 Biden campaign bus that was being harassed on the road by pro-Trump vehicles. 

"Individuals inside the bus at the time of the incident have filed suit against the police and the transcripts are now evidence in the case.

"Last October, a Biden campaign event in Texas was canceled following an incident during which several vehicles manned by supporters of the former president surrounded a Biden for President campaign bus on the highway in an attempt to disrupt the driver's ability to keep moving. 

"Then-president Trump retweeted a video of the traffic event from his now-banned Twitter account and wrote, "I LOVE TEXAS." . . .

Though this is as good as Democrats get:
