- Brand criticized the practice of condemning Fox News without acknowledging biases of other networks, stating that it does not contribute to improving lives
"Russell Brand has claimed that MSNBC is 'propaganda' akin to Fox News while berating journalist John Heilemann when he appeared on HBO's Real Time.
"Heilemann, who often appears on both NBC News and MSNBC, was discussing how several Fox News hosts have been accused of deliberately reporting on election fraud conspiracies, while knowing them to be false.
"Brand questioned the effectiveness of condemning Fox News without acknowledging MSNBC's participation in the exact same game - noting how both networks display biases for their affiliate owners, BlackRock and Vanguard
"Brand - who does not have a background in journalism - suggested that instead of attacking other networks, efforts should be refocused on improving MSNBC.
" 'Make MSNBC better. Make MSNBC great again!' Brand declared, echoing former President Trump's oft-repeated chant.". . .
Here’s John Heilemann (@jheil) asking Russell Brand (@rustyrockets) for an example of an MSNBC host knowingly lying on air.
