Enough With The Outrage
This could go on and on, but the point is obvious: Democratic Party politicians and reporters have no standing to complain about political violence (let alone mostly peaceful protests) until they get their own house in order.
John H. Hinderaker "Like pretty much all conservatives, I have consistently criticized riots and other forms of political violence for many years. That includes yesterday’s Washington, D.C. riot. You can’t say the same about liberals, however. Until yesterday, one might have thought that liberals consider rioting and other forms of political violence to be as American as apple pie.
"You could write a book in support of that proposition, but for now let’s cite just a few examples. Do you remember when President Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017? Leftist Democrats rioted in Washington that day. That riot was arguably worse, more violent and more destructive, than what happened in D.C. yesterday. The liberal rioters destroyed stores, set vehicles on fire and battled with the police. Six police officers were wounded. Here is a video reminder:"
"I don’t recall a single Democratic office-holder denouncing the Democrats’ Inauguration Day riot, and the Associated Press came perilously close to praising the rioters.
"Over the ensuing four years, Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioted countless times, bringing devastation to cities like Portland, Seattle, Kenosha and Minneapolis. Did any Democrats denounce these riots? Not that I remember. Many Democrats endorsed them, or seemed to do so. Kamala Harris, for example, said about the riots in June:
They’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop. This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop. And everyone beware because they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop before Election Day and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. And everyone should take note of that. They’re not gonna let up and they should not.
"This was after 12 people had been killed in Democrat-sanctioned rioting, and billions of dollars in destruction committed. Have any Democrats denounced Black Lives Matter for its role in the riots? Not one. Has any Democrat denounced Antifa? Not that I know of, and some, like Keith Ellison, have specifically endorsed Antifa’s political violence.
"Democratic Party journalists have joined the party’s politicians in excusing riots. The New York Times, for example, published an admiring profile of Antifa. The Washington Post, likewise, has carried water for Antifa." . . .
Alveda King Slams Kamala Harris for Plagiarizing Uncle: 'She's Nothing Like' MLK Jr.
"Niece of Martin Luther King Jr. nukes Democrat over 'Fweedom' scandal". Don't fret, Comma-La; Stephen Colbert will continue to slobber over you. TD
"Alveda King, the niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., has slammed Democrat Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) for plagiarizing her uncle, declaring "she's nothing like" MLK.
King took the California senator to task on Tuesday for apparently plagiarizing MLK Jr.'s "Fee-dom" anecdote for her own claimed childhood "Fweedom" story.
Prominent Evangelist King maintained that Harris’s worldview has nothing in common with that of the late civil rights activist.
"Kamala knows that her worldview is totally different than the worldview of Martin Luther King Jr.,” King said during an interview with Fox Business host Lou Dobbs.
"So it’s a big stretch for her to compare herself or to sound like him or to use some of his some analogies." . . . More...
Soros+ antifa= Democrats
Trump supporters say that antifa members disguised as one of them infiltrated the protesters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
A retired military officer told The Washington Times that the firm XRVision used its software to do facial recognition of protesters and matched two Philadelphia antifa members to two men inside the Senate.
The source provided the photo match to The Times.
One has a tattoo that indicates he is a Stalinist sympathizer. antifa promotes anarchy through violence and wants the end of America in favor of a Stalinist-state. "No more USA at all" is a protest chant.
XRVision also has identified another man who, while not known to have antifa links, is someone who shows up at climate and Black Lives Matter protests in the West.
There Are a Lot of Phony Claims, But There Was at Least One Antifa Ally Inside the U.S. Capitol "Video available on Twitter (for now) shows a crowd at one door the Capitol and Trump-supporters shouting "That's Antifa!" and trying to stop a black-clad person with a helmet that says "Trump" on its back (suitable for news cameras) from breaking into the building.", , ,
"One case of antifa infiltration that appears to have merit is the case of John Sullivan. He’s a man of the Left and a BLM/antifa protester from Utah. He was interviewed near the Capitol on Wednesday and admitted to being inside with the protesters. Like the entertainer Madonna, Sullivan was seen last in August in Washington calling for destroying the White House and encouraging a mob to “rip the president” out of the Oval Office."
Chuck Schumer Attacks Trump Supporters: ‘the People Who Follow Him’
. . . "Schumer declared:
But make no mistake, make no mistake, my friends, today’s event did not happen
spontaneously. The president, who promoted conspiracy theories and motivated these thugs, the president, who extorted them to come to our nation’s capital, egged them on, he hardly ever discourages violence [sic], and more often encourages it [sic]. this president bears a great deal of the blame. This mob was in good part president trump’s doing, incited by his words, his lies. This violence, in good part, his responsibility, his everlasting shame.Today’s events certainly, certainly would not have happened without him. Now, January 6 will go down as one of the darkest days in recent American history, a final warning to our nation about the consequences of a demagoguic president, the people who enable him, the captive media that parrots his lies, and the people who follow him, as he attempts to push America to the brink of ruin. As we reconvene tonight, let us remember, in the end, all this mob has really accomplished his delay our work for a few hours.
"Breitbart.com reports: Trump won 75 million votes in the November 2020 presidential election." . . .
The Trump Movement As We Knew It Ended Today
William A. Jacobson "It’s often hard to understand the impact an event will have in the future when you are going through it in real time or soon after.
"Today’s storming of the Capitol, including rioting, is one of those real-time events about which I’m comfortable reaching some conclusions.
"The first and most obvious conclusion is that while peaceful protests outside the Capitol are appropriate, fighting with Capitol Police outside, breaking into the building in a violent and menacing manner, fighting with police inside, and then proceeding towards and into the House and Senate chambers requiring evacuation of representatives and Senators is not acceptable. A woman being shot dead by police, while not inevitable, was a consequence. It’s even more unacceptable when Congress is performing a constitutional duty to open and count electoral votes.
"The fact that we have seen violent conduct from the left in recent years also directed at key institutions does not excuse it. Yes, among many other events, we saw anti-Scott Walker protesters take over the Wisconsin statehouse and menace lawmakers, and Antifa/BLM assault federal courthouses and turn sections of cities into war zones. And yes, Democrats and the media excused such violence, and there is a double standard as there always is where pro-Trump “mostly peaceful” protests are not given the same consideration as mostly violent leftist protests. And yes, it’s possible (but not clear) that some of the violent rioters were outside agitators. Politics is not fair, and it’s never been more unfair than how Trump supporters are treated by the media.
"But there was something uniquely offensive to our form of government to have such violence directed at the U.S. Capitol on such a constitutionally meaningful day.
"Which leads me to the second point about which I am confident. Today has forever changed the trajectory of the Trump movement." . . .
Watch Mitt Romney Get Ripped on Airplane Full of Trump Supporters
They should be afraid of us. The government should be fearful of the people. That’s what should keep them in line and do their jobs. They’re not doing that at all in Washington, and Mitt Romney hasn’t been a true Republican in quite some time either.
Matt Vespa "The Republican base doesn’t like Mitt Romney. I mean, they really don’t like him. The former 2012 presidential nominee found himself at the kids’ table after he voted with
Democrats on one article of impeachment against President Trump over the bogus Ukraine quid pro quo scheme that never happened. Romney is part of the old wing of the GOP. This wing has zero grasp for the fight and is painfully weak at delivering knockout blows. The man has no sense when it comes to going for the jugular. The Democrats are not to be trusted or liked on the Hill. Romney thinks otherwise. The thing that’s saving him from political annihilation is that he’s from a solidly red state. Could there be a primary challenge? Sure, but is there another hard-core Mormon conservative in Utah who has the connections and pockets to mount a serious primary effort? I want Romney gone. He’s a thorn in the side of the party. He’s up there with Jeff Flake. Alas, the results from last night’s Georgia runoffs bought him some time. We now have to tolerate Mitt and stick together. He did vote to put Amy Coney Barrett on the Supreme Court, which was a good move — but the impeachment vote is unforgivable. He should be booted from the party, but only once we’re on better footing on the Hill.Wednesday, January 6, 2021
America's suicide
We must be better than the left.

"The House and Senate chambers have been breached. Someone has been shot inside the Capitol. The presidential election certification proceedings have been interrupted.
"Events have a revolutionary feel. Where’s Trump? Trump has tweeted asking for peace, but is otherwise missing in action at present.
"President Trump apparently has no family or friends who can talk him out of the course he has chosen to follow. Order will be restored, but not before the stench of disgrace has attached itself to President Trump for his part in this shameful day." . . .
Joe Biden Demands Trump End Supporters’ ‘God Awful Display’ on Capitol Hill Like you did, Joe when BLM and Antifa were burning and looting? Remember the "Merry Caravans" and the peaceful demonstrators? I agree Trump must try to stop this, just as you and the rest of the scowling, hateful Democrats failed to do.
Protesters Destroy Media Crews’ Camera Equipment "Protesters destroyed media outlets’ camera equipment following the “Save America” rally in Washington, DC, while others stormed the United States Capitol building. "In video footage posted to Twitter, protesters can be seen knocking down equipment from various media outlets in attendance at the rally where President Trump spoke on Wednesday morning."
Comment posted in Whatfinger: This anarchy and lawlessness must be ANTIFA or BLM!
THINK: Why would Trumpers protest possible objections to Biden electors: only radical lefties would do that.
Trumpers support law, order, the legal process and wait for outcomes.
REMEMBER: LEFTIES are behind lawlessness like:
1. TRUMP-RUSSIA HOAX
2. FAKE IMPEACHMENT
3. UKRAINEGATE
4. ELECTION FRAUD
5. AND NOW CAPITAL BUILDING TERROR & EXPLOSIVE DEVICE AT RNC!
These aren't Trump supporters: they're radical left anarchists out to smear TrumpAnti-America Americans are Synergizing Again . . . "Fully comprehending the interplay took 30 years, but that got me to the rank order above. From an old combat vet perspective, #1 and #2 would categorize as strategic threats, #3 and #4 as tactical threats, and #5 as worthless threats. The last one can’t be ignored though, since those blowholes own a bully pulpit. American patriots need to understand: these anarchists want to end U.S. democracy. The conspirators failed a half century ago; they might succeed this time.Pre-400 BC, Sophocles recognized, “there is no greater evil than anarchy.” America needs to figure that out -- soon! "

Who Is Smarter, Joe Biden Or Kamala Harris?
Power Line "My answer is Kamala Harris. Why? Because Joe Biden stole lines from Neil Kinnock, whereas Kamala Harris stole lines, it seems, from Martin Luther King. If you’re going to indulge in plagiarism, you might as well steal from a great storyteller, rather than a hack British pol.
"Biden’s plagiarism is well known, although the mainstream media doesn’t like to remind people of it. Harris’ plagiarism problem has only just come to light:
Vice President-elect Kamala Harris apparently appropriated an anecdote first told by civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. when she was interviewed by Elle Magazine for a feature that was published in October, at the height of the 2020
presidential election campaign.Harris has repeatedly boasted of her parents’ involvement in the civil rights movement of the 1960s. In the Elle interview, she recalled accompanying them to marches as a toddler in a stroller.
“Senator Kamala Harris started her life’s work young,” writer Ashley C. Ford led off the piece. “She laughs from her gut, the way you would with family, as she remembers being wheeled through an Oakland, California, civil rights march in a stroller with no straps with her parents and her uncle. At some point, she fell from the stroller … and the adults, caught up in the rapture of protest, just kept on marching. By the time they noticed little Kamala was gone and doubled back, she was understandably upset.”
“My mother tells the story about how I’m fussing,” Harris told the magazine. “And she’s like, ‘Baby, what do you want? What do you need?’ And I just looked at her and I said, ‘Fweedom.’”
"Awww.
"The problem is that Harris’ story bears a striking resemblance to one told by King in a 1965 interview published in Playboy. Said King:" . . .
News Outlet Gives a 'Taste' of What Their Biden Coverage Will Look Like, and It Is Not Good
Many of us have watched in disgust as broadcast “news” outlets like CNN and MSNBC have gone from being committed pre-election apologists for Joe Biden to providing nauseating preview after preview of what state-run TV will look like in a Biden-Harris administration, should they be affirmed as the winners on Wednesday.
"CNN, in particular, has been pretty blatant about it. For example, we saw their media hall monitor Brian Stelter gushing in November over what he believes would be a “restoration of normal relations between the president and the press corps” after an interview with Biden campaign press secretary T.J. Ducklo.
"Also, there was the CNN segment where anchor Jake Tapper and his colleagues Dana Bash and Abby Phillip fangirled over the thought of Kamala Harris becoming the first woman of color VP.
"There are many more examples on that front, but for those of you who think all hope is lost on the media front when it comes to fair, balanced, and in-depth/investigative political journalism in 2021, Politico’s Daniel Lippman is here to save the day." . . .
I Now Better Understand the 'Good German'
I have come to understand the average German living under Nazism and the average Russian living under communism for another reason: the power of the media to brainwash.
Dennis Prager "As my listeners and readers can hopefully attest, I have been on a lifelong quest to understand human nature and human behavior. I am sad to report that I have learned more in the last few years, particularly in 2020, than in any equivalent period of time.
"One of the biggest revelations concerns a question that has always plagued me: How does one explain the "good German," the term used to describe the average, presumably decent German, who did nothing to hurt Jews but also did nothing to help them and did nothing to undermine the Nazi regime? The same question could be asked about the average Frenchman during the Vichy era, the average Russian under Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Leonid Brezhnev and their successors, and the millions of others who did nothing to help their fellow citizens under oppressive dictatorships.
"These past few years have taught me not to so quickly judge the quiet German, Russian, etc. Of course, I still judge Germans who helped the Nazis and Germans who in any way hurt Jews. But the Germans who did nothing? Not so fast.
"What has changed my thinking has been watching what is happening in America (and Canada and Australia and elsewhere, for that matter)." . . .
" . . .I was wrong. I now understand that mass brainwashing can take place in a nominally free society. The incessant left-wing drumbeat of The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times and almost every other major newspaper, plus The Atlantic, The New Yorker, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, NPR, all of Hollywood and almost every school from kindergarten through graduate school, has brainwashed at least half of America every bit as effectively as the German, Soviet and Chinese communist press did (and in the latter case, still does). That thousands of schools will teach the lie that is the New York Times' "1619 Project" is one of countless examples." . . .
Dennis Prager is a nationally syndicated radio talk-show host and columnist. His latest book, published by Regnery in May 2019, is "The Rational Bible," a commentary on the book of Genesis. His film, "No Safe Spaces," was released to home entertainment nationwide on September 15, 2020. He is the founder of Prager University and may be contacted at dennisprager.com.
Dennis Prager’s profound and disturbing meditation about “good Germans” . . . "Just as sobering as the willingness to abandon liberty is the American people’s willingness to abandon free speech. Rather than fight back against cancel culture, good Americans fall silent or, when BLM threatens, good Americans raise their fists too.
"Prager understands that many Americans have simply been brainwashed. Our media, our educational system, and our corporations (filled with people pumped out by our education system) hate America and Americans. We’re marinated in that hatred. We’ve been primed for decades. The lockdown was the spark. And instead of an explosion of freedom from that spark, we had an implosion of fear and self-loathing.
"Please read Prager’s article. After you read it, you’ll know how we got here but, if you still value freedom, you’ll also be asking yourself how we back out of this existential dead end."
